A/N: We need some Jaya fluff in this fandom. Unfortunately, every time I try writing show Jaya only angst comes out, so we're in the movieverse until further notice. 

For Nya's first day at a new school, it hadn't been too bad so far. Plus, she and Kai shared their first two classes. However, the twins hadn't been so lucky to share the third. "Bro, see ya at lunch?"

"You got it sis!" Kai bounded off to his class. Nya rolled her eyes at his confidence, knowing he had no clue where his next class was. She started walking in the opposite direction, scanning the halls for the right classroom. The school slowly became more run down the further she walked. Creepy. She was just about to turn back when she heard cries for help and laughter. Nya raced around the corner, finding 3 boys surrounding a smaller boy with a bright orange scarf.

He was shoved up against the wall, the bullies discussing what to do to him. The boy looked panicked.

"Hey," Nya spoke up. "Just what do you think you're doing to him?"

"Go away, this is a personal matter."

"And let you torment innocent kids? Hell no." The bullies looked at her, laughing in her face.

"You think we're gonna listen to a girl?"

"Seriously," another one started, "that girl thinks she can take all three of us?"

Okay, Nya hated bullies, but the one thing she hated more than bullies? Misogynistic bullies. She caught the boy's eye.

"Hey, go away, you don't have to-" he got cut off with a slap.

"Shut. Up!"

All Nya saw was red as she marched up to the main boy and delivered a punch with a sickening crack to his nose. It started bleeding profusely, and the other two henchmen with him started to back away. "What the hell!?"

"Maybe don't pick on kids just because they're smaller than you. Next time I won't be so nice." She scowled at the bullies, and the three scrambled away in fear.

She turned her attention to the victim. Even on the ground, she could tell he was shorter than her by a few inches, and she could see a few freckles poking out from his scarf. His electric blue eyes stared up at her in awe.

"T-thank y-you," he stuttered out. "No one's ever stood up like that for me before."

Nya shrugged. "No problem, I can't stand people like them." Then, she held out her hand to the mystery boy. "Name's Nya."

He stared at her hand. "I'm J-Jay," he takes her hand and she pulls him up, "Jay Walker."

"Well, Jay Walker," a grin spreads across her face as she says his name, "if anyone else decides to mess with you, I'll be sure to give them an extra hard serving of my knuckle sandwich!"

Jay laughs. "Hey, do you wanna sit with me at lunch? Then Jay blushes, quickly hiding his nose in his scarf.

"Yeah! You seem like way better company than my brother." The warning bell rings, meaning they only have a minute to make it to class on time. "Catch you at lunch, then?"

Jay quickly nods, then Nya watches him rush off, almost stumbling in his haste. "Cute," she mumbles to herself. Wait, what?
