Jimin is practicing the new choreography of new album until late at night. it was 11.30pm and jimin is alone, practicing in bighit's studio. he pants reall hard, gasping for air after practicing no-stop. he glance at the clock and realized it's late. 

'tomorrow will be my birthday' he smiles at the thought. thinking that he wanted to spend the whole day with jungkook makes him smiles brightly. he packs up his stuff and went back to his house. 

once he step inside the house, he kind of expecting something like a surprise cheers from his members. 'the lights are off'. he smiles thinking maybe his members are really doing the surprise thing. but once as he step into the living room, he sees nothing, no sound, no cakes, no nothing. in fact, everyone is already asleep by now. he shrugs and walk to his bedroom. he spots jungkook lying on their bed, sleeping soundly. 

Jimin refresh himself and slid into the bed next to jungkook. he mouthed 'good night' and peck jungkook's lips before falls into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Jimin wakes up smiling thinking that he's going to have a beautiful, wonderful date with jungkook. he skips while humming happily to the kitchen where everyone else already in. 

"Good morning!" jimin chirps happily, taking seat next to jungkook. 

others greets jimin good morning back and starts to do their stuff as usual. to say that jimin didn't feel sad because none of them wish him birthday is a lie. 

"Jungkookie..... why didn't you wish my birthday?" jimin pouts a bit. he thought maybe jungkook will apologize and wish his birthday. but all he got was a dumb stare from jungkook like he didn't even remember jimin's birthday. in fact, all of them stop and stare looking shock. 

"ummm.... is it today?" namjoon asks jimin back, eyes still widened. 

"wasn't it tomorrow.....? wait what's the date today?" taehyung looks at the calendar and released a loud gasp. 

"oh... oh god, jimin i'm sorry. we thought it's tomorrow. sorry" jin replied, looking all guilty. all of the members apologize to jimin and wish him a good birthday. he could see the guiltiness in their eyes. 

jimin smiles saying 'it's fine'. he can't blame them, maybe they just forgot because they're busy with comeback. jungkook looks like a dead whale, he couldn't say how much he's sorry for forgetting jimin's birthday. he keeps on saying sorry and kiss jimin's knuckles a few time. 

"It's fine. so, can we celebrate it today?" jimin asks in hope. 

jungkook froze. he wanted to say something but he couldn't let it out. jimin could see something's wrong with him, so he asks what's wrong. 

"i--i'm sorry baby, but i have a meeting today with the producers. i'm really really sorry baby! i thought your birthday is tomorrow! i'm really sorry!" jungkook looks guilty as hell. 

"no, it's fine. can we at least have dinner together outside?" jimin still hope that he can get some time alone with his boyfriend. 

"ummm, this meeting probably takes longer than usual. i might be coming home at midnight.... sorry" jungkook lowered down his head, can't seem to face jimin anymore. 

jimin quickly said it's fine, they can have dinner tomorrow. even though jungkook apologize repeatedly, jimin still feels a bit sad about it.

".......... yes, i'll see you soon. yeah..." 

jimin walks towards his bedroom when he heard jungkook talking on his phone. 

"hmmm, yes, i love you too. i really can't wait to see you today." jungkook was smiling while talking on the phone. 

jimin froze on his spot. he wishes that he heard that mistakenly. once his eyes meet jungkook's, he frowns while jungkook looks nervous. 

"...wh-who is that kookie?" 

"uhh... the producer? he wants to meet now. i mean it's such a hassle. i told him i need to take time to get ready but you know, he keeps on pushing, it's annoying, really. i guess i should go faster. oh god, i really don't want to go." jungkook rumbling. jimin eyed him suspiciously. there would be no way jungkook could feel annoyed when he's smiling ear to ear on the phone just now. 

jungkook kiss jimin's forehead before heading out. 'cologne'. jungkook's wearing a different cologne, not the usual one. jimin starts to get suspicious. maybe jungkook is cheating on him?? oh no... oh no no no! 

'jimin, stop being ridiculous! jungkook loves you!' he brushes  off those feeling away and starts to convince himself that jungkook is going to work.

"namjoon hyung, where's jungkook's meeting will be?"

"huh? uhhh... at incheon. yeah incheon." namjoon avert his eyes from jimin's. jimin just silently walks out of namjoon's room and headed to suga's room. 

"hyung, where is jungkook's meeting at?" 

"hmm?? i don't know. probably somewhere near studio. he didn't tell me" differ from namjoon, yoongi seems calm. maybe namjoon speaks the truth. yeah, jimin wants to believe that. 

"Taetae! let's go shopping!" jimin shouts at the living room, calling for taehyung. of course, taehyung is more than happy to go out with jimin.

"where are going?" taehyung asks excitedly. 

"hmmm... let's go shopping at Times Square!" jimin jumps in excitement. 

"uhhhh... let's go somewhere else okay? uhh i know let's go to Starfield!!" taehyung quickly suggest.

"but i want to go to the times square, pweaseeeee" jimin pleads. 

'hmm, there would be a little chance for us to bump into him. after all, it's big mall right?'

taehyung nods his head, making jimin shouts happily. 

once they're in the mall, jimin looks super happy buying things that he wanted and of course some things for the members too.

"taetae, i want to go to the bathroom, wait here okay?" jimin quickly went to the bathroom. once he finished his business, he walks towards taehyung. however, he spots someone very familiar in the jewelry shop on the other side of the floor. 

'jungkook? and who is that beside him?' jimin walks a little bit closer to get a better view. 

'a girl!? who the fuck is that?????' jimin internally screams when he saw jungkook holds a ring and asks the girl to try it on right in front of his fucking eyes. 

jungkook look so damn happy, giggling and laughing with that bitch. and what now? she even leans in closer to jungkook's chest?? and why the hell does jungkook looks so happy about??? 

he quickly went to the other side to kill jungkook and that bitch because how dare he!! unfortunately once jimin reach at the shop, jungkook is gone. 

"jimin? what are you doing here? i've been waiting for you." taehyung pouts. 

"i--i thought i saw jungkook here. with a girl tae! is he fucking cheating on me!?" jimin is mad, he's so mad now. 

"wh-what? j-jungkook? no... no way, you must be mistaken... ahahaha" taehyung laughs awkwardly but jimin didn't even notice that because he's busy thinking about jungkook. 

he quickly pulls out his phone and calls jungkook. 

[yeah hyung... why did you call?] 

"where are you now?" jimin asks, tone a bit lower than usual, indicating that he's totally not okay.

[still on meeting... wh--]

[kookie, what do you think about this?] 

oh god. jimin could clearly hear a girl's voice on the phone. jungkook is with someone. 

"j-jungkook?" jimin's voice cracked a bit. 

[gotta go hyung... talk to you later] jungkook didn't even let jimin say aword, he just hang up immediately. 

jimin falls on his knees, tears already pooling in his eyes. of course taehyung was shocked seeing jimin crying. jimin told taehyung about it and starts crying harder didnt even care about the fact that they're in punlic. being his best friend, taehyung tried his best to comfort jimin.

"jimin, are you okay now?" taehyung knows it's a stupid question but he need to ask anyway. 

jimin didn't even say anything. on the way back, taehyung keeps talking soothe words but jimin just didn't take any interest in it. he turns his head when feels the car stop for some reason. 

"jimin you've been crying non-stop. and we haven't eat anything yet since noon. let's grab something okay?" 

"i'm not hungry tae." jimin said weakly. 

"well, i am. can we please go get something? please?" taehyung p,eads while holding jimin's hands. jimin couldn't say no to taehyung. after all, he felt guilty for letting taehyung starving because of him. correction! because of that jeon fucking jungkook. 

jimin waits patiently at the restaurant's lobby while taehyung went to order their food. after a while, a waitress calls upon him saying that his friend needs him inside. jimin wouldn't argue much, he just follow the waitress to a specific room. a VIP room. 

once he steps inside, he saw his family and members inside wearing a stupid party hat. the room was fill in decorations writtten with 'happy birthday'. 

"Happy Birthday!" all of them shouted making jimin who froze on the spot starts running towards his mother. he hugs her and cried thank you and i miss you. 

once he calms down a bit, someone back hugged him while singing 'happy birthday'. jimin recognized that voice and immediately pushed jungkook away from him. 

jimin glares at jungkook making everyone shocked at the scene. even jin who's holding the cake and about to sing together with jungkook froze too. 

"Baby, what's wr--"

"don't you dare 'baby' me jeon jungkook! you cheated on me!" jimin shouts making jungkook shock in disbelief. 

"jimin ah... actually he's not..." taehyung interrupted.

"what do you mean he's not? you know wh-- you! she's that girl! how dare you bring her here!" jimin points at the said girl who he saw with jungkook earlier. 

"what?? no!! She's junghyun's fiancee!!" jungkook tried to clear the situation. 

"wh-what? so you're not ch-cheating?" jimin's face redden from embarrassment now. 

"no.... baby of course not. i love you." jungkook frowns a bit. clearly hurt from jimin's accusation. 

"i'm-i'm sorry. you looks suspicious today... i should have believe you.... i'm sorry" jimin cries. jungkook slowly walks towards jimin and hugs him earning 'awhhh' from others. 

"jiminie pabo.... you know that i only love you right? i would never replace you with anyone. no one as perfect as you." jungkook breaks the hug and wipes jimin's tears. he cups jimin's face with his hands. 

"Park Jimin, you're my life, you're my world. You're the best thing that happened in my life. I'm thankful to god because he allows me to met a person as amazing as perfect as you. i promised you, even in the next life, i would be with you, i would find you and love you over and over again. i know i've ask this before. but we both got busy and we didn't really have the time for it." 

jimin wipes his tears away, still processing what jungkook wanted to say. his brain stop functioning when he see jungkook slowly kneeling while holding a ring at him. 

"Park Jimin, please marry me. this life, and the next life too" 

jimin couldn't say anything anymore. he just nod and said a small 'yes', willingly allows jungkook to slip the ring on his finger. 

they earn a big clap and congratulation from everyone in the room. of course, a big 'happy birthday' too. after jimin calms down a bit, jungkook explains everything saying that this is all his plans and the hyungs are also helping him. everything that jimin saw is just junghyun's fiancee accompanying him to buy a perfect ring for jimin. and that 'i love you' jimin heard is just an act. he's talking to his mother, planning for the surprise birthday party. even jungkook's mother said 'yes' to that, proving that jungkook didn't cheat on him. once jimin heard that, he quickly apologizes to them all. 

Jimin didn't know about their future, how will it be. but he's sure that he wanted to spend it with jungkook. this life, and the next life too because this love between them is not a coincidence, but a fate. 

"this is the best birthday ever, thank you" jimin pulls jungkook for a kiss and he's sure he wouldn't let him go that easily.
