Jungkook's P.O.V.

So it's my turn today! Gosh, I am so excited to do scuba diving. It had been my dream since so long to dive underwater but then it got stacked under the huge pile of papers i needed to sign with every other memory and every last wish.

Until now. Where I have no worries and where I could fulfill my wishes.

We got on the ship and as usual, taehyung is squealing and giggling. It's as if it's an alarm, whenever it goes off i know that we're going to tick something off of our bucket list.

The ship sailed off, the sea breeze was mild and calm but also peaceful. I stood on the edge, holding the railing, watching the water waves forming under me.

When was the last time i genuinely looked at the water and smiled? Never, because before this water just seemed like....water but even the sunset feels beautiful now and so does water.

We reached the spot from where we would dive. We were already in our diving suits and now we needed the snorkel and oxygen tank.

Taehyung came towards me and gripped my arm and started to squish it. I looked at him and quirked my eyebrow

"What are you doing?" i asked but he paid no attention to it and now started to punch my stomach lightly.

"Like damn, you got some body jungkook" he said in an amazed tone and i chuckled. Atleast going to gym got me some compliments

Then he poked his flat stomach and pouted

"I want this to be like your abs" he said and i chuckled

"You know what? Chubbiness suits you, it makes you look more cute than you already are" i said and a red crept over his cheeks

I cleared my throat before making an excuse and sliding the stupid compliment away and dragged taehyung to take our snorkeling kit and wore them.

We stood on the diving board outside the ship and taehyung jumped before me as i followed him inside.

The cold water hit my face and it sent shivers down my spine but it was thrilling. I swam more deep to find taehyung was playing with some fish and they kind of liked it

He looked at me and told me to swim towards and so i did.

He was playing with a cute puffer fish and it didn't even puff up and harmed taehyung.

Like can this guy even make animals fall for his charm?

He gasped as bubbles formed.

He tapped my arm and signaled me to come back up with him.

What happened? Why did he tell me to swim up? He can't breathe or what?

I was worried so quickly swam after him

He got his head out of the water and removed the tube from his mouth and i looked at him with confusion and worry.

"What happened?" i asked and he gasped once again

"Why is the water so....wet?" he asked

I was baffled, totally speechless, we swam atleast 17 ft up just to discuss that why is the water wet?

Oh my god. 

I facepalmed myself and looked at him in disbelief

"Then what do you suppose it to be?" i asked. I know he's just joking and everything but not the time taehyung! I want to watch the famous coral reefs!

"You know....like, a little less watery" he said and i sighed

"I'll just go by myself" i said and swam inside once again

"Wait for me, ungrateful bitch!" taehyung said, catching up with me.

After his stupid attempt to act dorky failed, we enjoyed playing with the animals.

I also clicked so many pictures of the corals, fishes and other animals and also of taehyung.

Well actually, the corals, fishes and other animals were not the reason i clicked their photos but just because when taehyung looked at them, even if i couldn't see his expressions i could admit that he looked really amazed.

He also clicked photos of me, we also took some selcas with fishes. This day was so fun.

We saw a large group of fishes hovering above us and we were totally mesmerized. Never knew what beauty could be underneath the sea

We also saw an octopus who squirted his ink over me while taehyung giggled

We swam along with the fishes, some swam away because we might have frightened them. I saw taehyung looking at some urchins so i decided to go and take a round.

My eyes landed on something and i gasped before swimming towards it. It was an oyster. I hope there is a pearl inside it so i could gift it to taehyung.

I opened the oyster with utmost difficulty and immediately took the three pearls out of it before placing the oyster back on rock.

I swam towards taehyung who was now swimming here and there, going in and out of open caves.

I smiled before taking the pearls to him and tapped on his shoulder, he looked at me with a confused expression

I opened my fist and he looked inside to see three pearls in my hand. He automatically slammed his hands towards his cheeks and admired the pearls

I forwarded it to him as he took the pearls and hugged me, as if he was saying thank you to me.

We roamed in the sea for several hours before swimming back towards the ship because as we are hungry as fuck.

We got out of the water and boarded the ship. The food was already for us, we just had to dig in.

We both went in our rooms for a little rest, then dressed up and got on the deck to eat our feast.

"Hey! Look!" taehyung said and pointed towards his neck and i saw that he wore a necklace which had the same pearl i gifted to him. I was happy that he cherished it.

"Where are the other two pearls?" i asked him and he gave a bracelet to me with a pearl in it.

"This is so beautiful" i said and wore the bracelet on my wrist carefully. Then he showed his hand to me and i saw that he was wearing the same bracelet as mine.

"I made couple bracelets!" he exclaimed and some uncanny feeling slipped into my heart, making it beat rapidly.

Couple bracelets? Don't couple wear them?

"But as we are not a couple, let's just call it partner bracelets!" he cheered and i smiled at him.

We looked at the orange appearing in the atmosphere as the bright yellow had long gone indicating that it's evening now 

I looked at my bracelet, rubbing it gently while taehyung ate is food.

Partner bracelet huh?

A blush crept over my face, matching the red hue of the sun.

No one ever gifted me something and neither i gifted anybody something.

But it feels good to receive a gift from someone.

Taehyung keeps introducing me to these new feelings and i don't know why but i like them.

The water was also turning dark, the night seeping in and a cute snoring taehyung, sleeping on the big couch on the deck. 

I looked at the sea getting distant from us, swallowing the sun inside it.

This day ends here, my heart thumping as i looked at my "gift" and blushed.

What is this feeling?

I looked at taehyung and wrapped a blanket around him and slept on the couch, eyes closed but the smile on my face never left.

You're really something, Tae.

Making me feel happy, an emotion I never knew I had inside me.

But you seem to look right through my soul. A thing no one was able to do all this time.

Today was fun but I know tomorrow is gonna be more thrilling because you make things much more exciting to do.
