Chapter 33 - Thank You, Michael
August 30th 2009, 9:30am.
In Michael's book which I finished two weeks after Christmas, I remember my favorite quote in it. He said, "I believe we are powerful, but we don't use our minds to full capacity. Your mind is powerful enough to help you attain whatever you want." Which I think is what happened with me. My mind was powerful enough to attain what I wanted, and I did it.
It didn't take me long to realize that I was back home after I saw nothing but light, light, and even more light, then seeing my room again. I then saw my mom and gave her the biggest hug ever. She was confused by my behaviour and my new glasses, but I told her that it was a long story.
Lola and I decided to keep it between us. It's better to leave things as they are and not risk anyone thinking that we were just crazy. I asked Mom if I could visit Forest Lawn Cemetery, as that's where they buried Francesca, and Michael. She agreed, and right now I'm sitting in the car, holding a big stack of sunflowers for the both of them – both of which are their favorite flowers.
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Mom asks.
"I think I'll be fine," I say. I get out of the car and walk up towards the section they buried her in, it's a perfect serenity too. It's an enclosed, small area with tons of flowers in it, and the only grave that sits next to hers is Michael's.
I guess what I always thought was, that it's not up to us to decide if we can change history, but leaving history where it lies as it's already written. But there are so many things to say about this journey I still can't believe I got to experience out of all people.
I feel at peace with myself, and I'm sure Francesca does too. I can feel her smiling down on me, next to Michael as the sun continues to shine. The sun becomes brighter and brighter around the area I'm standing, I look up to the cloudless sky. "Hi Francesca," I whisper.
I place the sunflowers down on her grave, then another set of them down on Michael's.
I have so many things to say, so many thanks to give, but I think I'll just stick with one.
"Thank you, Michael."

I know this book kind of flashed before everyone's eyes, with the updating and the short-ish chapters, but this book is the best iv'e ever written so far as it came from an idea in my dream. I just want to thank anyone who's ever read it and i will continue to make more books like these (and even better) in the future!
If you haven't yet, i please ask you to check out my other books that are up as well, as i guarantee you'll like them :)
P.S, happy new year! This was my last update of 2015.
Thanks again!
