Chapter One
'We are willing to pay as much as you want. Just let our daughter be with him.' Mr. Blake says, trying to convince the man in front of him. 'Our daughter is dying. All she wanted is to be by his side.'
The man pondered deeply. Weighing everything he said. After a moment of silence he finally spoke up.
'Alright Mister Blake. I'll grant her wish.'
'You don't know how much that means for her, thank you so much!'

The place is busy. Really busy. So this is what his world looks like. Hectic schedules. Album Preparations. Sing Practices.
'Miss Blake, this way please.' his manager says. I stand up and quickly walk after him.
When we turn to a corner, music can be heard faintly. We stop in front of a door. The music became clearer and familiar to me. I smile, knowing his music well. His manager opent the door. I am nervous. Really Nervous. I haven't seen him in two years.
'Everyone. May I have your attention.' His manager begins. But I'm not listening anymore. My eyes are searching for him. And there he is. Sitting in the corner. His eyes that I adore so much is now looking straight into mine. I have the urge to go and run to him. To hug him. To say how much I missed him. But I'm taken out of my mind when someone gives me a little push.
'Miss Blake, please introduce yourself.' his manager says. I nod.
'Hello, I'm Nina Blake. Nice to meet you all.' I try to show my best fake smile, but i got distracted. His eyes are staring at me. Intensely staring at me.
The other greets me. Everyone. His band members, the staff and the stylists. Everyone greets me, except for him.
'Jack?' One of his friends asks. He introduced himself as Jonah.
I watch how his expression changed. From shocked and surprised, his expression changed into a stern one. Cold and emotionless.
'I'm Jack.' His voice is not the same as before. The sweetness and gentleness was gone. He sounds so cold. It makes me want to leave this place immediately. But I won't. I'm not gonna run away from him again.
I give him a small smile, hoping that he would smile back, but he doesn't. Not even a little smile. He looks at me, emotionless. I sigh. He's not going to forgive me..
'Ms. Blake here will be one of your hair and makeup stylists temporarily. Until Stylist Eva comes back.' Their manager tells then. 'Specifically, she will be Jack's stylist.'
When he heard that, he let's out a sigh.
'What's wrong, Jack?' Daniel asks. I guess that was his name... I recognize his voice from a few songs, but I never really pay attention to the others. Actually only Jack...
'And why Jack?' Zach asks.
'Because Jack takes the longest to get ready.' the manager says.
'It will take longer since she doesn't know the style I prefer.' Jack says. It is monotone. I feel like I'm listening to a different person. It feels like it's not him anymore.
'I think Ms. Blake can used to that really quick, Jack. Right Ms. Blake?'
'Yes, Yes of course.' I say. Jack rolls with his eyes. The pays attention to his phone again.
After a while, when the greetings are done, Corbyn walks forwards me.
'Hey,' He greets me again. 'How are you?'
'I'm fine.' I say.
'I'm sorry to say that, but you look quite young.' Corbyn says. 'How old are you?'
'I'm sixteen.' I laugh. 'I'll be turning seventeen the seventeenth of January.'
'Well that's... Next year. That's not soon.' Corbyn laughs. I smile weakly, before I turn my attention to Jack again.
He looks more Handsome than before. W-wait.. Does he has tattoos? And a piercing? Well it suits him a lot. Just staring at him makes me emotional. Tears are building up in my eyes.
'Are you okay?' Corbynasks.
'Yes, I'm fine.' I lie.
'You still like him, don't you?' I look to Corbyn.
'W-what?' I hope I heard him wrong.
'You still like him, or not?' I'm confused. Does he know? But how?
'Y-you know?' I ask. Corbynnods.
'So you are his ex.' He smirks. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. 'I thought your name sounds familiar. You're his ex.'
'Did he..- Did he told you guys about me?' I ask surprisingly. Corbynnods immediately. My heart beets a little faster when I hear that.
'Yea, He did.' Corbynsays. 'He talked about you all the time when we just began the band.'
That makes me smile a little. But that gets immediately replaced with a frown when I remember that night. That night when I broke up with him. That night when I left him heart broken.
It's not that I wanted to break up with him. I had to. But I thought it was the right thing to do. It was a choice to help both of us.
I hope it worked. But still... I don't deserve him..
