Chapter 8
"I uh...I'm gonna go to bed." His face showed signs of shock. Whether it was of happiness, or rage, I couldn't tell. "I love you." And he ended the call. Just like that.
My face felt hot as tears started to escape my eyes. I didn't know what to feel, I didn't know what to think. Did he hate me? Will he ever speak to me again? My body felt numb as I continued to stare at the now black screen of my laptop.
"Hannah!" My skin crawled as someone's hand rested on my upper back. I didn't know who it was. And I didn't exactly care. But my vision was blurred from the water escaping my eyes, so I couldn't see them anyway. "Everything is okay."
Or was it? Was it truly okay? He wasn't happy or excited. He just... Ended the call.
"Hannah?" The voice sounded like it came from Breezy. Nausea took over my body. My head was spinning and my eyes hurt. "Hannah, you need to calm down a bit." She squeezed my hand.
I said nothing in return. Not without something coming up from my stomach, that is.
"Here," I look up from the floor to see Elisa handing me a glass of water with a concerned smile on her face. "Maybe something cold will help, you look like you're gonna vomit." She wasn't exactly too far off there.
I reached for the glass, my entire body was shaking and it was a little hard to grab. I ended up spilling a good half of it on the coffee table. But I managed to drink the rest without much of a problem.
"I think you should try and get some rest, before something bad happens." Breezy speaks up.
"What do you mean?" My voice barely came out. What could happen?
Breezy sighed before she spoke. "If you continue to stress out like this, you could... You could possibly loose the baby." She looked away at Elisa and Kat. Both of them wore the same upsetting expression.
"Alright." I took a deep breath. "I'll see you guys later then." A small smile spread across my face in an attempt to calm myself down. Maybe getting some rest would help to calm my nerves.

"Dude, we're gonna go get a bite to eat." Dallon shook me awake. I was laying on the bus couch with all three guys, plus our manager Zack, staring over me. "You coming or not?"
"Uhm." I slowly sit up and run a hand through my hair. A yawn escaped my mouth. "I'll meet you there. Where are you guys headed?"
"There's a small town café just down the street." Kenny replied.
"I'll be there in a few." I stood up and stretched out my body. The couch isn't exactly the best thing to sleep on. Then again, the bunks aren't all that great either.
"We can wait." Dan offered.
"Nope." Zack already started walking out the door. "Wait if you want. I'm starving." Dallon just shrugged and walked out after him.
"Just go. I'll meet you later." Kenny gave me skeptical look before motioning for Dan to follow him out the door.
One of the things I wanted to do was get dressed. That was a must. Being in clothing that you wore all day in the hot sun the day before, wasn't exactly pleasant. Maybe a quick shower? We have another show tonight. So that would just be a waste.
I look through a few drawers that I had claimed as mine, for a pair of shorts and a tank top. After about a good five minutes of rummaging through the two drawers full of crap, I finally found a pair of black shorts and a gray tank top.
As soon as I was about ready to go and meet the guys, I went back out into the living area to find my phone. And sure enough, it was placed on my laptop. Right where I had left it.
Walking over to the door, I stop and look at the device in my hand. I kind of left Hannah after the big news last night. And I feel terrible. But in the moment, I kinda just didn't know what to think. My main question was why didn't she decide to tell me earlier?
I quickly dialed her number as I stepped off the bus, the sun nearly blinding me. It rang a few times before I got her voicemail. I just ended the call, not wanting to seem like I didn't know what to say to her. Which in all honesty, I really didn't.
"There you are!" Dallon exclaimed as I walked over to the table the guys were sitting at. "Took you long enough." I grabbed a chair from an empty table and dragged it over to ours.
"I ordered you a coffee and a thing of pancakes." Kenny said as I sat down.
"Thanks." I put a bit of sugar and cream into the liquid before taking a sip.

Though sleep only came for a few hours, it was well deserved. I wouldn't say I felt refreshed, but definitely better than I had last night.
After a good fifteen minutes of trying to coax myself out of bed, I finally dragged myself out from under the covers. One of the reasons, actually the only reason why I actually got up was because I really had to pee.
As soon as I was done being in the bathroom, I walked out and heard voices coming from downstairs. Were the girls still here?
"They're gonna be performing tonight here in California, that would work. And then there gonna be in Portland on the thirty first." Kat's voice echoed up the stairs.
"What are you guys talking about?" Both Kat and Elisa jumped at the sound of my voice.
"Just uh. Going over when they're going to be back." Elisa chimed in. I give them a questioning look, not sure what they had been up to.
"Where did Breezy go?" I ask, finally realize it was just the two of them.
"She went home just after you went upstairs." Kat replied.
"Speaking of," Elisa looked at her phone, I assume to check the time. "I actually have to go and meet Patrick for something. I'll see you guys later?" She smiled and quickly headed out the door.
"You look better." Kat sat down on the couch and motioned for me to join her.
Before I sat down, I decided to grab a granola bar and make a quick cup of coffee. And after a good five minutes, I finally plopped myself down on the couch next to her.
"I definitely feel a little better." I took a sip of the coffee in my hands.
"Well I'm glad." She smiles and places a hand on my shoulder. Her phone buzzes and she quickly looks at what I assume was a text. "Hey uh...I have to go meet Spe-someone. I'll see you soon?"
"Yeah. Sure." I reply as she doesn't look a way from her phone. Kat got up from her position on the couch and made her way out the door without another word. "Goodbye to you too." A sigh escaped my lungs.
What to do for two more days? I could just do what I had been all this time, watching movies and cleaning the house. But it was spotless and there was no movie that caught my eye at the moment. Now I guess it was time to continue the countdown from when Brendon was going to be home. Two more days before I can see his reaction in person. Two more days before I can actually know how he felt about all of this...
