Jasper's POV

I woke up at lunch time. I slept peacefully for a long time. I groaned and sit up looking around. My eyes stop at the book suave read me last night. I couldn't help but smile.

I got up and walked out the room and to Suave's room. Hopefully he was in there. I opened the door and looked inside. No one. I still went in and wrote something on a piece of paper. It read, 'meet me at the balcony. One on one.' I set it down and walked out and to the kitchen. Smelled good. Not at good as Suave. I thought to myself. I chuckled and picked some bone marrow quickly eating it.

I wiped my mouth and walked out. I was in a good mood today for some reason. Its just a really good day so far.

I think suave has seen the note by now. I headed over to balcony. It had a roof so I could see the view but not get hit by the sun.

Footsteps approached me and I sniffed the air. Mmm Suave. I smile and turn around. He looked nervous as he walked over to me. He bowed and greeted me. "Hello M'Lord. " he said. "Hello Suave," I replied. "Look at the view. Isn't it magnificent. " I looked at the view. He did the same. "It is." he said.

"You must be wondering why I wanted to speak with you." I said keeping my eyes on the view. He nodded. "I wanted to tell you that I think we could be great.. Friends. I don't have many in this castle so I was hoping..." I glanced at him.

He looked away. "Of course I can be your friend M'Lord. But why me?" he said. I smiled a little. "Because Suave I actually like your company. So why don't I show you around these forbidden woods and we have some fun. As ...friends. You will still get paid. And you can spend some time with your new friend. " I said nudging him.

He finally smiled his amazing smile and nodded. "Ok M'Lord. What did you have in mind."

"I'll show you now." I replied grabbing him. His eyes widened at the sudden grab. I chuckled and I see the sun get covered by the clouds. Perfect timing.

I make my wings come out and I fly.

Suave screamed in fear at how high we were. I laughed till we landed in the woods, before the sun got uncovered.

I let him go. "First fly?" I asked amused. "Yes! That was so scary. You didn't warn me." he said. "I'll warn you next time." I walked down a path and he followed.

It was a beautiful path. The trees had birds in them. The grass was bright and random flowers scattered the ground in perfect color. "This is the forbidden forest. Not so scary when its day time. I should show you when its dark. It will really get you frightened besides flying. " I said teasing him about being scared of flying. I glanced at him and see his eyes roll. I fake gasp. "Did you roll your eyes at me?!" I say looking offended.

He suddenly seemed alarmed. "N-no no. I mean uh yes b-but I uh Im sorry I uh-" he started but I interrupted him by putting my finger on his mouth shushing him. "Hehe I was kidding suave." I said smiling slyly.

He sighed in relief and I pull my finger away. "Come on. Let me show you an echo flower." I say walking. "What's an echo flower?" he said following after me. So he didn't actually know what an echo flower was. Heh. He has so much to learn.

I went to my special spot. Full of flowers of all types and colors. I look behind me at suave to see his reaction. He was so amazed it warmed me. He looked so astounded and in awe of the beauty. I watched as he stroked a purple flower with green in the middle. While he was admiring I went and grabbed an echo flower. I went to him and handed it to him.

"What's this?" he said observing the flower. "What's this?" the flower echoed. He jumped and dropped the flower. I chuckled and picked it up. "Its an echo flower. It echoes whatever you say near it. Watch." I said quietly. I put the flower to my mouth and whispered 'pretty cool huh?' and handed it to him. He listened and whispered something back.

'Yeah. All of this is so cool. And beautiful' it echoed. I smiled and put the flower down.

I showed him every single flower and looked at his reaction every time. It was always awe or impressed or adoring. It was so beautiful .. The flowers. The flowers were beautiful.

Suaves a friend now. We will be good friends. He is really nice to have around. I want him around all the time. His smell. His smile.

I look at him and see him twirling a flower around smiling at it. I smiled softly.

I take his hand.

He looks at me.

"Let me show you something fun." I said. He nodded before I lead him away from the special spot. I walked to the middle of the forest. It had a little clearing. I walked to it and lied on the soft grass. He did the same and lied by me. We looked up at the stars. We had spent all that time looking at beautiful flowers.

The stars shined and glimmered. He nudged me. I looked at him and see him pointing at the sky. "Look a shooting star!" he said like he's never seen one. "Make a wish then." I said. "You make one." he said nudging me again. "I've made plenty. From the looks of it you haven't seen many shooting stars. Make a wish. " I replied. He looked at the star and made a wish.

Then he looked at me. I smiled at his expression. "How many shooting stars have you seen?" I asked. "That was my first." he said. My eyes widen. "Really?"

"Yeah. " he replied looking at the stars again. "Then I have so much to show you." I say. He looks back at me.

I get up and make my wings come out. I pick him up bridal style. He was actually pretty light. Or Im just strong. Probably both. I make my wings come out. "Warning." I say before flying off.

I fly high into the air above the trees. I look at him and see his hands over his eyes. "Look." I say not demanding or forcing him to. He slowly trusting me opens his eyes and uncovered them. He looked out at the view and gasped. You could see everything.

I flew around the forest and eventually to the castle. I landed on the balcony and looked at suave in my arms. He was fighting off falling asleep. "You can sleep." I say quietly and gently to him. He let his eyes close and he drifted off to sleep. I walked to his room and no one saw me holding him. He looked so peaceful.

Closing the door behind me I lied him down on his bed. He has so much to see in the world. He never even saw a shooting star. I smile and graze his cheek with my hand. He's so gentle to. And fragile. And mostly amazed at everything. Especially things around here. I smiled and stood up.

We'll be great...friends. .. Friends..yeah.. Just friends... That's all I need right now.

I walked out his room. But now before covering him with a blanket.
