Suave's POV

As I woke up I opened my eyes only to see a blurriness. Reaching my hand out for my glasses I didn't feel anything. I reached further and fell straight off my bed. Taking the sheets and blankets with me.

I grumbled at my clumsy self. I've been more clumsy than usual lately. Its mostly because I'm nervous. I applied for a job at the castle in the ..... Forbidden Forest. Where Vampires lurk. And in that castle is the one and only Fallacy. The King of Vampires. Only the desperate or brave enough work their or even step into that forest. My Mum worked their but she retired. She told me she was a maid. And liked working their.

I thought she was bluffing. But look at me now, I applied to work their as a Butler. Because I need the money if I'm gonna stay on my own two feet without my parents.
I found my glasses and looked at the mess I made. "Tsk Tsk clumsy me." I got up and folded the sheets and made the bed. I went to my small closet and looked at my small variety of clothing. Not much but it'll do.

Taking my Grey tunic and my light brown pants I put them on. Ah I almost forgot. I walked to my nightstand and grabbed my special hat. I've had it for as long as I can remember. I asked mum to see where I got it from but she seemed to always rub it off. So I just stopped asking.

There's other things I've always wondered where I'd gotten from. Like my looks. Mum and pop seem to look nothing like me. My eyes are completely different from there's. And as far as I know no one in my family needs glasses except for me. But now is not the time to dwell on those facts.

I have to go to town and see if I got the Butler job. I hope I did. But then again. I don't know. Working for Vampires can be dangerous. But I need the money.

I walked out of the house and to town hall. Crossing my fingers hoping.

I saw the paper with the names of who got a job anywhere. I couldn't really see what it said because of the people crowded around it. Getting closer I could see my friend Gazelle jumping up and down obviously happy.

I smiled and walked over to her. She saw me, "Suave! Suave! I got the job!"

"That's great Gazelle. " I went to look at the paper. Farmer section nope, Guard section Nah, hunter section, blacksmith section, doctor section, nurse section, maid section, ah finally butler section.

I looked down the list and saw, Suave Quil accepted at Gold Castle.

I got the job.
