Hannah's POV
Due to the absence of my sister and Joe last night, I had to stay with Oli once again which didn't at all help me keep my feelings to myself.
"Hannah! We haven't got any food" Oli shouts from the kitchen. I groan, getting out of bed. I walk through to the kitchen and check since I know what Oli's like when it comes to looking. "What are we going to do now then?" I sigh.
There is a silence for a second while Oli thinks. "How about you come to breakfast with me, then we'll walk back along the beach. It'll also give you a chance to pop in and borrow some clothes off of Beth" I laugh which sounds a bit cocky of which makes my cheeks burn red. "Is this a date proposal?" I ask, playfully slapping his arm. "Let's see how it goes first and then we might be able to say it's a date". I laugh at his response before retaliating "Oliver White. How scandalous can you get?" He chuckles to himself before leaving me to get ready to go out.
Oli grabs my hand leading me out of the apartment block. I look back and smile, I'm not too sure why though but I do anyway. We walk hand in hand until we reach Joe's place. I let myself in as the door was unlocked. Before me is my sister making out with her boyfriend which honestly makes me want to puke. They are sitting in the darkness watching a film, still oblivious to the fact that anyone's here.
I spinal for Oli to be quiet as I creep behind the sofa. "Boo!" I shout, jumping up from behind the sofa.
"Jesus Hanni. What do you want?" Beth says. "I was wondering if your favourite sister could borrow some clean clothes?" I bat my eyelashes and she gives in. "You're lucky I'm in a good mood" she sighs before sitting up properly. "How come?" I ask intrigued, well not really but you know, you have to be interested in what siblings have to say. "I'm moving in here with Joe" she smiles. "You can stay in Caspar's old room. He's moving to Brighton to be closer to all of his meeting venues since he always has to take a train. You can stay however long you want"
"Thanks- where are the clothes"
"Joe's room, left side of the wardrobe. Pick anything you want"
I hurry off to Joe's bedroom and open the wardrobe. I pick out a 1993 cropped sweatshirt, a pair of black skinny jeans and converse along with her black leather backpack. I walk out of Joe's room and get my phone from the sofa where Beth was looking after it, but it was gone.
I look to Beth who looks to Joe. "Sugg, give it back" I put my hand out infront of him.
"I found your phone" he replies looking behind me. I turn around and see Oli on the table with my phone in his hands. "Oliver" I moan.
After 10 minutes of continuous fighting with Oli I finally get my phone back and both Beth and Joe are laughing their heads off.
We leave the apartment and Oli takes me to Frankie and Benny's that overlooks the beach (I know there's not a beach in London but let's just pretend). The waiter strolls over, taking our order and informing us of the waiting time. Oli grasps my hand and joins them in the middle of the table. We talk about our ambitions and life goals. I thought about telling Oli about YouTube but I decide not to. What if he tells me I'll never make it? After all I'm as entertaining as a dead goldfish. He brings it up instead of me.
"So, ever thought of joining the world of YouTube?" I better tell him, he is my potential boyfriend and I have to be honest.
"To be honest, I have and I still do. I've thought about it but I don't think anyone would watch my videos" I look down at my lap.
"Just to let you know, I'd be the first to subscribe. I'm setting you up a channel when we get back, no objections" I chuckle.
The food arrives and the waitress glares at me as our hands part. She walks off and I roll my eyes.
We finish up and end up running across the beach. Oli picks me up and runs towards the sea. "Oliver White put me down this second" he does put me down but he puts me down in the wave that washes up on the shore. Beth is going to be so mad at me. Oli runs off and I tackle him to the ground. "Come on Deyes, we're getting ice cream" he pulls me up off the stones after himself and he leads to to the ice cream van parked on the curb.
"Two ninety nines please" Oli orders and I get my money out of the backpack Beth had lent me. Oli puts his hand onto of mine as I go to pay.
"On a date, the gentleman always pays" I raise my eyebrows
"So this is a date then" I reply
"If a girl as beautiful as you will go out on a date with me"
"I'm here aren't I"
We sit on a wall overlooking the beach. We sit in a comfortable silence for a while, listening to the waves crashing against the wall.
"So Miss Deyes, I reckon today was splendid if you will." He says in a cocky posh voice before continuing "...and I'd like most days to be like that in my life or should I say our life if you accept..." I knew what was coming and I knew he was nervous, he was babbling on. Trying to stall.
"... Hannah Mae Deyes would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?" A smile grows on my face
"Yes of course I will White" I laugh.
And with that being the end of our 'date' I join hands with my boyfriend and walk back to my new home with Jeth (Joe and Beth) and eventually say goodbye to Oli. Knowing he's mine forever, well for now at least.
