The alarm rings at six in the morning. Manik opened his eyes, Nandini was sleeping  besides him facing  her back. He slowly removed his hand from  her waist and looked besides her side table. He get up and turned off the constant snooze, but Manik was little surprised and confused too, last night his phone was not with him, then he looked at Nandini and sweetly chuckled. He leaned little on her sleepy face, as she was in a deep slumber. He kissed on her cheek lovingly.

"Nandini get up, It's 6 Am in the morning." He little muzzled his nose on her face.

He called someone, and opened the door, take a box from a servant and, closed the door. He took a pen from her pen stand and wrote something on a note and put the box with it on her study table.

Few min,, later again his phone snooze, but this time she opened her eyes, rubbing her eyes cutely and yawning. He was looking at her this morning cute activity, which was he had never seen before. Many times she used to wake him up or before him left.

She turned little and found he was already lost in her, she was surprisingly looking at him.

"Good Morning" He kissed on her cheek.

She was looking at him" A..Are you fine..?" She asked him in a caring tone.

"If my every morning will always  be like this then I will always happy." He was caressing her hair lovingly.

He was about to kiss her but she push him little and get up, hurriedly wrapped around her duvet near her chest and was about to leave.

"Please don't go today." He said like a child.

"I have to go. It's important" She was looking at face.

"Don't go" He hold her hand.

"B..But Yuvraj c..college."Nandini was slowly trying to removed his hand from her.

But he was still holding her hand.

"I'll try to come soon"She said in a convincing tone.

Without looking at her he wear his vest again and left from her room.

"Yuv.."But in a thud he closed the door.

She was sadly looking at him, because of her again she made him upset.

She heard a voice that   something has broken from his room, definitely again he poured his all anger on some vase or glasses. Nandini flinched while hearing a sound of broken things. But she preferred to do not go near him this time if he is in angry mode, he is dangerous, she knew it.

Nandini properly adjust duvet around her and take her clothes from the cupboard and left in washroom.

She get ready for a college, don't want to let today for any how. Today she had a important class, she didn't want to miss it.

Nandini was collecting her books from her study table, saw a box on the table. She looked surprised.

"If every night you will take my name as Mani, trust me my Princess everyday you will receive a new gift."

She was confusingly but more than shockingly reading a note and looking at the box.

"L..Last n..night. But we were.." She was looking at the note in a confusingly.

"T..This is Yuv..Yuvaraj's handwriting. Why did he give me a gift?? W..what I have d..done l..last night" She was talking with herself.

"If e..eve..every ni..ght you will take my name as M..Ma..Mani"Her eyebrows little cringed while she reading a note again.

"Y..Your M..Ma..ni" Nandini specifically little loudly said that word.

She didn't get a clue what is happening?? Why he is doing this with her at morning??

"Oh God what is wrong with me?? What have I done last night?? I don't even remember it. Last night h..he j..just.   It was n..normal . But what is this?? Oh God Nandini. What did you say to him, how could you forget that you don't even remember. What is this Mani. What he trying to say??"She was confusingly blabbering.

"If every n..night you will take my name as Mani, trust me my Pri..Princess e..everyday you will re.receive a new gift. Thanks for the last night. Y.Your M-A-N-I"She was again and again reading a note but didn't get a single clue.

"Nandini what you have done? Just think about it. You are such a dumb, Yuvaraj is right. I am an idiot. L..Last night he made a love, jo humesha he used to do. B.. But he never gave me gift for this before that. Last night what happened. Nandini did you drunk last night or what??"She hold her head tightly in her both hands.

"Oh God!!!! Did I do something wrong, jo mujhe nahi karna chahiyein tha. But if I did then this gift. No. Something is happened?? Seriously. H..He was looking at morning very happy, but suddenly get angry and left. Kahi isi ki toh vajhse nahi."She kept that gift again on table.

"Oh God!!!! No!!!! I can't do this. I can't do this such a sin. God Please forgive me, Amms, Rajmata Sorry I  broke your rule. Please I am sorry"Nandini suddenly screamed as she reminds something very important.

"Please Rajmta I am Sorry. Please forgive me. I can't do this. It will not again happen. But trust me I don't remember anything. B..But this note is telling something like this."She joined her both hands and crying.

"I had no such a any intention like this. Please believe me. Please believe me Amms. Mene jaan bujhke nahi kiya. I don't know how I let this happen?? But believe me I don't remember anything ki mene aisa kuch kaha hain unse.  B..But this note, it sounds like I.. I called h..him b..by his n..na..name. No Rajmata please it was just a mistake. Itne saalo me aisa kabhi nahi hua. How's that possible?? I.. I think h...he misunderstood. I can't do this. I can't take Yuvaraj's name. I know what he is. No one can take his name. He is Yuvaraj. Yuvaraj of Udaipur. No.. we have no permission to take his name. How could I do such a big crime."She waz crying.

"Amms I broke your promise, and Rajmta's rule, what if I will get p..punish?? No. H..His  n..name. Yuvaraj is taking all this in a wrong way. I can't take his name. Paap lagega. This is a big sin, what if Rajmata sun leti toh??"She said scarily .

"And A..Amms?"She kept her shivering palms on her mouth.

" If Rajmata had listened, she would have thrown Surely out of the palace me and Amms ."She  whispered in a fear .

"Yuvaraj ka naam lena this is a sin, I can't do this sin. Sorry please forgive me" She joined her both hands infront of  her Grandmother's small photo frame and tears were still flowing from her eyes.

After a crying for a few min., and asking  an apology from Amms and Rajmata she left for her college without meeting him.

Manik was right. One day he said to her that "you left Shish Mahal, but Shish Mahal won't leave you". It's true. That Place's still effect was on her mind and on her soul too, she can't completely rubbed it. She was still in that shadow, not able to forget there rules and regulations infact now she is not working there too. But after a spending her  half life in that place, no one could easily mould in new atmosphere easily. Then She is toh Nandini. An innocent and naive 18 year old girl. Who is now learning that how to leave a life without Shish Mahal. It was a part of her heart, she can't easily removed it, her home had been there, her life,her bread and butter, her Amms memories was there, how could she forget so easily. Bhalehi this was a golden cage but her home too. She won't forget this. Maharaj and Rajmata was their Mai Baap, their Annadata( mother-Father), their blessings on their head, they used to give them there roji roti( bread and butter), All the Praja(People) are their Sewak( Das/Daasi/ Servant), they are the rulers, there king. All this type such a thing was permanently printed in her mind, like her no one change this. Like her every servant was thinking same like this. So it was not her fault. Upbringing what say???

At College

Whole the  time she was thinking the same thing. How could she do this?  She did a sin. This is a crime, and cursing herself and in a break go to the bathroom and lock herself and cried a lot.

Sara and Nidhi was looking at her sad face, but they knew it as usual she will again ignored them.

At Night

She called Rosy Aunty and told her that what she had done?? But she don't even remember this?? Rosy Aunty was also trying to explain her that she had  done nothing, It's just happened. It's fine, this not a mistake or any sin, infact It's a good thing that you called him by his name, he always want this, you have made him happy, but there was no any use. She don't want to agree on that. She was only telling her that she did a sin,  broke the rule, Paap lagega and that's it. She don't want to understand anything and continuously  crying on phone.

"Nandu Dikra, It's fine. Don't cry. If you are thinking that it's a sin then please don't do this again, but stop crying. Baba will be sad if he  knew it, Please stop crying" She was trying to console her.

"Trust me I intentionally did nothing. It was just a mistake. I don't even remember it. " She was sobbing.

After a lots of crying and  finally get normal and hunged the phone.

In Manik's Room

Manik was sitting near the window and tuning something on his guitar.

Nandini opened his room door, and looked at him, he was busy in tuning something. After seeing him she recalled morning's incident, she was in a guilt.

She was checking his medicine box and gave him his medicine. One by one he gulped it with water.

"Aap soyi nahi abhitak?? It's 11:45."He said casually while tuning something.

"Umm. Yeah. I w..was about to go t..then remembered that you have not eaten your medicine yet. S.. So I.."Nandini

"Don't worry about me. I was just about to take it after this."He said and looked at this guitar.

"Y..Yuvarr..aj"She was hesitating.

"Hmm"Manik keep his guitar on a side chair.

"I.. I.. I am.."Nandini was stammering

" You want to say Sorry" He asked casually and reach near his bar and making a drink for himself.( It's injurious to his health after taking a medicines but he is Manik)

She looked down.

"'About morning or what about last night"??" He was sipping his drink and looked at her with a cold face.

"B..Both."She whispered and again looked down.

"Well about morning I don't think you should sorry for that. You had genuine reason.  But it's ok if you are sorry." Manik

She was fighting with her fingers.

"But why are you sorry for last night?? I don't think you did anything wrong. But you are toh Nandini. You have made this issue  and told everything to Rosy Aunty. Like seriously Nandini?? How could you tell her such things??"He said in a little angry tone.

She scared when he raised his voice.

""How could you tell her about our personal things??  It was just about us. How can you make it publicly?? I know she is very close to us but Nandini some things  are  only close to us, which is only between us, I don't like to discuss my private life with anyone, 
Not matter what how close that person with me, specially about you and me. If you had some problem, then you should come to me, but no. Whole day you were crying and then told her everything. Are you mad Nandini?? After this what she will think about me and us?? Do you have an any idea?? I accepted that in the flow you didn't remember that what you have said last night but Nandini that was our moment,how could you do this?? How could you tell her??  Vese toh you were always felt awkward when she cought us in any improper situations, sometimes in our room, or in kitchen, storeroom, gym, behind the pillars, or wherever. Tab toh you haven't gained a courage to even looked at her, then now how could you tell her this now?? Tab aapko awkward feel nahi hua?? Use this your little brain for sometime. Be sensible. Don't just digged your head only in books."He was scolding her.

She was treambling in a fear when he was scolding her with a raising his voice more and more louder.

"  Nandini Some things must remain inside the room.  It's better, otherwise it doesn't take long to make fun of them.  Just get this big thing in your tiny brain. I don't like to discuss my personal life with outsiders. Just remember it."He said strict words.

"B..But Rosy A..Aunty is n..not a outsi"He interrupt before she could complete.

"I said I don't like it, it means that  don't"He put his finger on her lips and nodded his head negatively.

She looked down.

He pulled her closed to him" I don't like if anyone argues with me. Discussion is over, do you get this Nandini"

She was silent but more scared.

"Nandini I want words"He said in a authoritative tone and jerkly hold her chin.

"Sorry, I.. I will not do it again."She confessed slowly.

"Good"He said , straightly looking in her eyes.

He left her chin and again take his glass for a drink.

"Good N..Night Yuvraj " She and was about to go.

"In the morning I sent some samples to your phone for the interior of your new room, did you see ??"Manik

She was lost in her own thought. When?? How?? When did he send it? And on what? She doesn't even have a phone anymore. But the simple keypad phone she had, which Manik angrily broke. Then??

"-Nandini I am asking you something." Manik

"W..When?? I have no phone. I... I  mean had a sim..simple keypad phone, B..But y..you"She was trying tell him but knew his  nature very well.

" Have you not opened the gift that I gave you this morning ?? Really??" He asked in a cold tone.

"Actually Yuvraj I.. I ha..have seen b..but n..not o.. opened it." She don't want to looked at his scary eyes.

"-why??"Manik.

"I was g..getting let. So."Nandini

"Hmm. And at night??"He was playing with his glass.

"I w..was d..doing st..study, s..so fo..forgot"She almost wanted to ran from there, because she recognized it, her every word was boiling his blood.

He turned and opened the drawer.

"And then what is this Nandini??"He showed her the same gift and throw it on her.

She flinched when a box dropped near her feet.

In a shivering hand she pick the box.

"-You have just read that note and don't even looked at this box too. Why Nandini?? For you seriously last night was a mistake, that you don't want to touch my anything."He angrily throw the glass on floor. She closed her eyes in a fear.

"Answer me dammit. If I am asking you something, then answer my words."Manik greeted his teeth angrily.

She moved a little back in  a fear.

"S..Sorry. I.. I.." She was treambling.

"I don't want your sorry dammit. I want your answer. Tell me last night was really worst for you, do you have an any idea when I heard from your lips my name for the first time, in that intense situation how much happy I was. I was thinking that finally you have started to accept me as Manik not as Yuvaraj. But you told everything to Rosy Aunty and just ruined everything. You don't have any care about my feelings, your just a small one step how much mean to me. No but you were just crying and crying since morning, that you did a sin, a mistake, aapko paap lagega, whole day you were thinking about this, and  tonight also when  you came to me that time also you had been here for to say sorry." He said in a sarcastically but very hurt.

Nandini  was crying. Don't know what to say, in her mind was lots of things were popping, and messing with her.

"You reacted the same way when I lost my virginity with you for the first time. Don't you remember Nandini?? I hope surely, your memory is so sharp. That night everything was normal, you were happy, we had shared some beautiful moments, but when you woke up at morning you were so angry on yourself, you were thinking that you did a sin, you were pushing me, just becouse of your this stupid thinking you had ruined our moment. You had just crushed my every single hope. That time also you wanted this, you provoked me, you were broke down, you were feeling low, and the same thing you have repeated this time too. Last night you wanted this. I told you don't do this, don't hurt yourself, don't behave like me, but no you did not listened me. Nandini you know that how I am, I am already going through  a bad time. If this time someone pays me little attention, or listens to me, I feel so happy, and what are you doing with me?? You are playing with my mind, and I let you do this too. Your this weird behaviour is making me mad, first you kissed me, then called me by my name, from the last two nights you are continuously playing with my mind. Don't you Nandini??"He clutched her both arms tightly.

She hissed and closed her eyes in  a pain.

"Humne aapse jis baat ki ummed(Hope) nahi ki thi, which is you are doing it today. Nandini why don't you understand that you are raising my hopes, Your this actions are taking me towards the different direction. Becouse now  I'm starting to get scared of you dammit."He screamed on her.

She was flinching, her lips and legs were wobbling.

"Your actions are scaring me. Once you are fine and next time you are totally changed, Once you are happy, in the next moment you are in a guilt. You make me happy, raise my hopes, took promise from me that to leave you for forever if world will get to know about us , what is this Nandini?? Why in your behaviour I am seeing all this mixtures?? Am I toy Nandini?? My heart is toy?? That you are playing with it. If you don't like to do this, if you will feel guilt then why are you doing this to me?? Why me?? If you don't love then it's fine but please for God sake don't play with my heart and my mind. You are messing me. Can't you see this?? In an emotion don't do any silly things jiska baad me aapko hi regret feel ho. Don't do this. "He said in a helpless tone, but his voice was very high.

He jerk her and push her. She unbalanced because of his sudden act, but handled herself.

"Yuvaraj I.. I am S..Sorry. I j..just want to"Nandini

"If you want to do anything for me then just do one thing,  behave just like the way you are, jo aap nahi hai, woh banane ki koshish mat kijiyein, don't take any step in an emotional flow, don't make me a habbit of your this behaviour. So don't make me used to it. It will not good for you. "He threatened her.

"Pl..Please t..trust me I.. I d..don't r..remember anything ab..about last n..night ki mene kya kaha aapse. I am sorry if my actions are hurting you, but I can't do this in my conscious state too, b..but don't know last n..night how.."She was sobbing.

"You mean to say that was just my hallucination?? I am still not so mad that I will have hallucinations now. Still my mental state is stable. Medicines are properly working on my body. I am fine. But your this actions will seriously make me psycho waqt se pehle ."Manik

"Y..Yuvaraj I am not s..saying ki you are wrong, but I d..don't believe on myself that I did this. You know na what you are to me, I can't take your name like this. You are Yuvaraj. Yahi toh bachpan se sikhaya hai sabne. I.. I am sorry."She was pleading to him.

He was hearing her pure and innocent confession, which was true. She was tied with  Shish Mahal, Even if he wants, he can't break it so easily. He is Son of this Palace, he himself not even break his all bonds with them, then how could he accept from her. He was mad at her, he don't want to easily melt.

"Nandini just leave from here. I am very tired, I want to sleep. Get out."He said rudely, snatched the box  and pushed her, she protested but he was not in a mood to listen her any plead.

Whole night she was sobbing and he was just tossing left to right on bed.

Next Morning

It's seconds saturday, so today was a holiday, but she get up as usual on time.

She was doing a preparation for a breakfast.

"Shyam Bhaisa where is Yuvaraj??He must be in a gym"Nandini asked one servant.

"Bibiji he left  early in the morning." Servant said politely.

"What?? B..But where??"Nandini asked in a sad tone.

"I don't know, he took his car and left." Servant

"Umm. Did he have bodyguards with him?" She asked in a worried tone.

"No. But Aman sir already instructed them, Don't worry."Servant.

She nodded her head positively.He left.

This time she was recalling only Aman. With him Manik is always safe, but Manik had already warned everyone that no one will disturb him, or tell him about anything. He must be enjoyed his Europe trip. Because of him he don't want to bother him.

"Please Yuvaraj don't do any thing in anger."She was praying to God.

"B..But on Aman Sir's flat?? Why??" Nandini was thinking.

"Have you seen any injury on his hand or on anything?" She was so worried.

"No Mam, his hand is fine, he looked normal when he came out from his flat. A..And he doesn't change his clothes too." Bodygurad.

"Ok. Thank you. Please be with him." Nandini said in a caring tone and hunged the phone.

She called his bodyguards, they told her that he is just leave from Aman's flat, and going for his recording. Nandini took a relief, that he is normal, he doesn't get any attacks, last time's incident she knew very well. Many times he  harmed himself when he got heavy attacks, she was witnessed of his all injuries, stitches, shock treatments, she has seen him many times in drenching state in a pool of a blood. When he had his attacks he was imagining some unknown image infront of him and feels like he was harming that person, but the reality was he was harming himself instead on any other one, and sometimes in a normal condition too he took a sharp thing and easily gave a cut on his own body. Blood comes from it but he doesn't feel anything, no any pain, not a single tear had dropped from his eyes, he feels much  better when he did that. What type of disorder is this?? She was so afraid from him. Dr. Batra and Dr. Smith told her that just be with him, when you feel that he is having an attack, his anxiety is getting increasing, or feeling low, then just go to him, and try to calm him down, for this do anything, as per as possible just do it, injection, medicines, music, or even if you have to use your body for this also, then use it, But divert his mind from that particular thing. And many times they found it works too. He gets calm down so easily and doesn't get attacks anymore.

That's why they both always used her as a drug(his medicine). They knew that It's just temporary treatment, his problem will not solve like this, but they have only one the nearest option for him at this situation, his disorder was will not only cure in medicines but emotional support also he needed. But his family will never give him what he want so, they have remained one and only Nandini.

From the last two nights he was getting so restless,becouse of his family's tensions, and when he was feeling low that time it would be a high chances to had an attack, and probably it would be so risky. The Dr., and Nandini everyday or one day in a week were discussing about his health, both the Doctors were taking his follow up in a detailed, and the last they both came in a one conclusion that Nandini have to with  him always, if his family doesn't want him, then they  make sure she will be always there for, she became the most important drug and prescription for him, Dr.'s well trusted medicine. They were using her for him just like a drug, like he will have her and then within a sec.  he will be fine. (But seriously it works?? What was the theory just explain me if it is true or 100% curable then tell me, Drop your opinions, is it possible or not??)

Nandini was just following Doctor's each and every instruction, Manik and Nandini they both knew that Dr., are using her as a medicine but Manik himself can't do anything, he was helpless infront of disorder. He was only saving himself from those horrible attacks he came to her and she allowed him. But it was an only one way traffic. What about his family?  Where did they disappear?? No one wants to talked about them, but accepting everything from that poor girl, who had her own personal life too. But just to save him, they could go on any extend. Doctors are always a Doctors. They proved it.

Those nights also happened this, he was disturbed, he came to her and she did exactly what they said to her, she was just trying to  save him from those attacks, and fortunately he was fine, he was normal, otherwise she wasn't there in that crucial situation then
may they could found him in a pool of a blood with a lots of saviour injuries. And about last night also he came and sleep, then asked her he wanted to sleep here everynight, it was clearly showing that he was feeling alone, he just wanted to handled him that time, she exactly did the same thing, handled him, pampered him, and offcourse with her body, because that night he seriously need it, he was denying that but he wants too. But in that flow she did something which was she do not want do it, but it happened,  accidentally she took his name, infact not so clearly but called him, that was enough for him, in that happy feeling he gave her a gift in return, but that girl doesn't even remember what did she say. She was not in that state, to recall anything again, she was only thinking that she did crime that's it. Her mind set was like this, on her effect of Shish Mahal's upbringing and Rajmata and Amms words,

At night

He returned at home, she was waiting for him.

As usual without looking at anything be just rushed to his room. He fresheup and comes down for dinner.

Nandini set the dining table, but offcourse with taking the precautions. Last night incident she well known about that, she don't want repeat it.

She smiled little when he come to the dining area.

He didn't said anything but silently sat on the chair.

Without making any noise she served him, as he don't like any noise on dining table. she was about to add more halwa on his bawl but he just showed his hand and she stopped. She used to of his cold behaviour. Without talking and looking at her he was silently eating his food.

But she was happy that he had finished his halwa, otherwise he never eats lot of sweet, his amount had always fixed, like calories, fats and what more. He was very conscious about those things. She also sat besides him, and eating her food but her all focus on his plate, if something he want he just pointing and without any word she understood too what he want. Manik was always like this, cold, on off altitude,  very unpredictable person, we couldn't predict him.

He finished his dinner and Nandini too. I don't think she even eat or not, her all focused was on only his food. Like more than her his food was so tasty. He get up and washed his hands, she immediate ran behind him and gave him napkin, he wiped his mouth and again gave her back. She never wants him to praise her food but have it happily. That's enough for her.

He was slowly walking through his garden, silent breeze was touching his hot cheeks. Behind him Tuffy was playing with a ball. After he lost his favourite dog Percy, one day Nandini was accidentally met with an a street dog near her college, she looked at him and felt that took him with her. His cute little face made her day. She brought him in his house, but he didn't said anything, otherwise without his permission not even a wind doesn't come, he was very  carefull about his personal space. One day he was sitting in a garden  with his garden, Rosy Aunty and Aman was continuously denying her that don't do this, he will get angry, but she didn't listen and placed that puppy on right lap, he saw something soft, he just smiled and rubbing his hand on his head.
Everyone was surprised. How could she do this?? How could she made it possible. Becouse he was very attached with Percy, he was always living alone in his big house, but Percy was always for him, he used to play with him, sleep with him, he felt an unknown bond with the dog. It was like he could share with him everything. But he left for London, Percy stopped eating and playing, sitting lonely in one corner, and one day he died.

When Manik came back, he was searching him, he will come and jumped on him, but it didn't happened, then Aman told him that they lost him after his sudden disappearance. Manik felt so bad, his loving percy also left him. But Nandini come with a Tuffy and not so fully but filled that emptiness, that empty place. He accept him, and Tuffy too. Not like Percy but they both were sharing a good bond with each other. Tuffy won his heart due to his cute antics and face. (What was Nandini trying to tell Manik after doing all this?)

Manik's room

Nandini was busy in making his bed. Whenever she get a free time, or in a Sunday she used to do all this, her old job, which was she used to everyday in Shish Mahal. His breakfast to his bed everything.

He come back in his room behind him, Tuffy was also entered with him. Tuffy immediately jumped on the bed, and disturbed her well settled bedding.

"Tuffy get down, stop playing on it." Nandini said in disappointed tone, his old habbit, it doesn't change anymore.

She picked him with her had and keep him on the floor, now he was playing between her and his feets

"Tuffy" Nandini was trying to get rid from him. His all the time favourite work playing between their feets.

Finally he shifted towards Manik and now again busy with him.

Nandini gave him his medicines and he gulped it and take aback from his glass. Tuffy was playing on his lap, while he sat on the window.

Both were silent only that puppy was doing some antics.

Few min., later when she was arranging his messy cupboard he sat on her lap.

"Tuffy. Let me do this" She whispered slowly.

But he was busy in his own land.

" Please tell Yuvraj  to talk to me" She was caressing his soft hairs slowly.

She gave  a feather kiss on his head.

Like a obedient child he immediately come to him, and sat on his lap and starts barking.

Manik looked at him and asked him through a eyes what??

But he never understood, few. min. later Manik lay on his bed, Tuffy jumped and snuggle besides him in a comfort duvet. Besides them still one place was vaccant.

After arranging his wardrobe she come in his room, both Manik and tuffy was watching something on his phone. Nandini smile sweetly.

She was about to leave but Tuffy starts barking, It's like he was calling her.

He jumped down and hold her dupatta in his small teeth and pulled her towards the bed.

"-Tuffy please let me, go to your bed and sleep" she was trying to pulled her duppata's corner from his teeth, but he never listened, Manik was still busy in his phone.

Unwillingly she sat on bed, and he snuggled more into her, she was looking at Manik, but he didn't paid any attention to her.
Nandini was patting Tuffy's head, he was like a baby snuggling in her embrace. Manik kept his phone side table and turned towards them. He starts ruffling  his ear with his tip of a fingers and smiled. He knew that how smart he is. Whenever they had a fight or he was mad at her, always Tuffy come and without speaking anything broke the ice between them.

Manik looked at Nandini, he hold her one finger, she moved her head up, a small smile crept on his lips. He switched off the lamp. Between them Tuffy was sleeping peacefully.
