Mornings. For some it's the perfect time to start their day, and for others....well they really don't care and just want to sleep in. Y/N was definitely one of the later ones who just wanted to sleep, yet with his job that was not really possible due to him working at random times.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Like right now. As his phone was going off, he knew only one other was calling him...and that was because there was only one number in his phone that wasn't spam or a telemarketer....

So with a groan, Y/N sat up from his bed in his apartment and grabbed his phone and answered it.

Y/N: *yawns* Yeah?

Josh: Dude! Are you barely waking up?! You knew sometime today we had another mark sent to us!

Y/N: Yeah?, Well last I checked there was no specific time, and also what can I say, Sleep is my drug, and my bed is the dealer.

Josh: You know damn well we never get any specific times and just the name and their routine smartass!! Hurry up and be outside in five I'm heading your way!

Five Minutes Later

A yawning Y/N was outside of his apartment with a thermos in hand looking like a technician with tools hanging at his side. As he finished yawning he heard the honking of a fast on-coming black truck. He already knew that this was his co-worker cause next thing he knew, Josh had opened the door, jumped to the passenger side, and buckled himself in, all while not stopping the truck. Y/N was already used to this as he responded by jumping in with ease and precision, buckling himself in and put his hands on the wheel and drove.

Josh: You'd still got it.

Y/N: Of course I do. Now where's the mark?

Josh: Two miles down.

Y/N: Really that near?

Josh: Yeah. Looks like we got an easy one today. After this, breakfast is on me.

And that "mark" was none other than a teenage boy that they needed to kill by ramming him with their truck.

Now while that may seem like madness for some, it was just another day like that for the I.S.T. or Isekai Squad Team.
