"You look, uh you're-" He cleared his throat awkwardly, "Wow."

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.

"That was a compliment." He added.

You nodded as if to say 'oh'. This was ridiculous. You were staring at the dark screen
blushing like hell. At the moment, you didn't have the courage to end the video call. You had already hung up on him once without saying a proper goodbye.

"Listen, I gotta go. Again, sorry about this." You didn't want to but you needed to. You had a job to do anyways.

After that, you guys hadn't talked for a while. It felt like a year but it was only 1 month. You felt kind of lonely despite your friends coming over. You missed him so damn much. It hurt to think about him. You never realized it until now. You had feelings for someone you barely knew but God he made you feel so happy and carefree. That's why you were saving up. Saving all the money that you could to go to California.

You just had to see him.
