Niall tweetete dann ein bekanntes Kindheitsfoto von sich, dann Harry. Darauf folgend wurde mit dem Hashtag #StoryOfMyLifeSingle2 die neue Single Story Of My Life bestätigt und das Datum, wann der Song heruntergeladen werde könne veröffentlicht. Später wurde in einem anderen Tweet auch das Cover veröffentlicht.

Story: 

Müde öffnete ich die Augen. 

Sonnenstrahlen blendeten mich, wodurch ich die Augen leicht zukneifen musste, um mich an die neue Helligkeit zu gewöhnen. Ich blickte mich um. 

Alles stand genauso da, wie ich es gelassen hatte. Und dennoch viel mir eins auf. 

Die Tür war offen.

Ich versuchte mir nicht anmerken zu lassen, setzte mich leicht auf und streckte mich. Dabei musste ich gähnen.

Blitzschnell, schoss ein kleines Wesen auf mich zu und drückte ich fest an mich.

Mein kleines Wesen.

Mein Kind. Mein wunderschönes Kind

Sie blickte zu mir hoch und grinste mich aus ihrem Zahnlückenlächeln an.,, Guten Morgen Mama!"

Wie süß sie doch war.

So klein und zerbrechlich. Und doch so wunderbar und frech.

Ich ließ den letzten Tag nochmal in meinen Kopf abspielen. 

Laute Stimmen, Gelächter, gute Stimmung.

Sehr gute Stimmung.

Musik, tanzende Leute, küssende Pärchen.

Und wir mittendinnen.

Meine Familie.

,,Na, hast du gut geschlafen?" Ich wurde aus meinen Tagtraum gerissen, meinen kleinen Engel immer noch im Arm.

Er sprach mich an. Mein Retter, mein Mann, mein Ein und Alles.

Er, welcher die Geschichte meines Lebens geändert hat.
