Don't Hurt Harry
Deleted Scene from Music Sheet (Chapter 45.5)

The moment Moni saw Harry with his face stained with blood and tears, she knew something awful had happened; so without asking, she grabbed him in her arms and called for Mila. Harry clearly needed them both for whatever had occurred. Her own heart was pounding, scared as hell for her dear friend Harry. He was like her little brother, she adored him. Since Moni pushed her family away for her own good reasons, Mila, the lads and the girls were her new family and out of all of them, she always felt Harry was the most vulnerable one. Maybe because he was the youngest, maybe because he was too sensitive. Whatever the reason, Moni always felt she had to protect him the most.

She always teased him and made him think she didn’t like him just so he would never know how much she care about him and his wellbeing. The brunette always saw him as her little brother and whatever happened, she was going to protect him from it.

Mila finally arrived and her reaction at seeing Harry like that was the same as hers and she hurry to get next to them. Carefully, Mila led them to the sofa and made Harry sit between the two girls. He was crying, and only seeing him like that broke both girls’ hearts. There was something so heart-breaking about seeing Harry that devastated that it made a sudden rage born in the brunette’s chest.

“Harry, breathe. Take a deep breath and tell us what happened,” Mila asked with a soft tone. Moni ran to her room to get some tissues and grabbed a glass of water from the kitchen when she came back.

Harry drank it all. “Just… it’s just… I can’t do it anymore! I can’t believe she actually bought it!” He burst out, surprising and confusing both girls.

“Mind explaining?” Moni asked carefully and for a moment she thought he was going to lose it again, but he took a deep breath and told them what happened. About the rumour, abut Hannah believing it and building up her walls again, about him realising she didn’t want to get better and it was all just an excuse to push him away… again.

He screamed, stood up, paced across the room, ran his hands through his curls and cried again. In a moment she had to make him stop to clean the little cuts in his hands he got from hitting the wheel of his car.

Moni knew Harry only cried out of frustration and as they heard the story, she felt betrayed herself. She thought, she dreamt that Hannah was going to make Harry happy, that she wanted to be better for him. But she wasn’t going to, she hurt Harry badly. Moni had never seen him like that, his eyes were hollow and his voice shattered… as his heart was. He was in a horrendous pain because he loved Hannah and she stabbed him in the back.

All Moni’s anger channelled into blaming Hannah, the girl who hurt Harry. It didn’t matter if the brunette liked Hannah, she had hurt Moni’s little brother like no one had hurt him before. Maybe Hannah wasn’t fully responsible, maybe she had reasons, but in that moment when the brunette saw Harry covering his face, shaking with pain and frustration, Moni couldn’t see beyond Harry’s sorrow and she could only blame Hannah in that moment.

“Why would she do that? After all this times? Why? Moni, Mila… please, tell me why! You always know!” He cried out, desperation written all over his features.

“I’m sorry,” the brunette began.

“I wish we could give you an explanation,” Mila continued. “I’m so sorry, Harry.”

Surrender took over his body and he fell on the sofa, his whole body giving up on trying to understand. In that moment he accepted it was over and the pain in his features almost killed both girls.

There was nothing in this world as terrible as seeing Harry that broken.

Moni’s anger only grew stronger. She wanted to yell at Hannah to stop, to open her eyes and stop hurting Harry… and herself. What she was doing was wrong in every possible way and she had to see that. The brunette wanted to shake the ginger girl and make her see the light. She wanted to shout at Hannah for hurting Harry that bad; but most of all, she wanted to make her regret what she had done and force her to do something to fix it.

Moni only wanted Harry to be happy again and she knew Hannah was the only person who could do it, but it was impossible if Hannah didn’t open her eyes. She had to do something about it, she couldn’t stand seeing Harry like that.

As she hugged the curly-haired boy, she knew she couldn’t just stand and do nothing. She was going to help even if she had to take the villain’s part in the story. Whatever was necessary to have Harry happy again.
