Jeanie&Louis

Jeanie's POV

I slowly shifted through the many racks of clothing at Hollister. My job was simply to walk around, model clothing, and help any customers. It wasn't my favorite job, but I was pretty lazy and I basically got to chill the whole time. Actually, I'm just lazy during work hours.

There was a few clothing items out of place. Why would sweatshirts be mixed in with skirts? I knew I would be the one getting in trouble if it wasn't fixed, so I just moved the sweatshirts back onto the many shelves where they were kept.

There was quite a crowd outside, and just in the mall. I wondered what was going on. It wasn't the normal crowd of mixed ages. This was mostly girls, some younger and some the same age as me.

"Jess!" I called to my co- worker and my best friend. It was her idea that we work her, and surprisingly we were both hired. Only, Jess worked the cash register, because I would probably break it if I tried.

"Yeah, Jeanie?" She called back. The store was pretty much empty, so it wouldn't matter if she left the cash register. It's just if someone walks in she would have to go back. Sure, there were customers, but other people were helping them.

"C'mere for a second." I said, a bit more calmly. Maybe Jessica knew what was going on. She always knew what was happening. Or at least Jess might have a good guess.

"Coming!" She called back to me. I heard the click of the register, and she walked over with a slight bounce in her step. We were both required to wear Hollister clothing. Just, she was lucky, she got to wear the sweatshirts. Unlike me, I had to wear the newest dressy item.

"What's going on out there?" I asked, curiously. My head was tilted a bit, and I was frowning.

"Some band." Jessica said with a shrug.

"Oh." I said, without really something to say. My frown morphed into a smile, I was happy it wasn't something that drastic. But, I felt bad for whatever band it was. They were about to go through living hell with those girls.

"Aren't they called One Direction?" Hannah asked, appearing next to me. Her job was similar to mine, and I wouldn't consider us best friends but we were pretty close.

"Yes! That's it!" Jessica confirmed Hannah's question.

"I absolutely love them!" Hannah gushed, her face turned sad. "I wished I didn't have to work."

That's when it hit me.

One Direction were here.

In this mall.

"Oh my god.." I breathed out, as realization hit me.

"Becky look at her butt." Jessica said, laughing.

"Tunechi!" We chorused together. It was a routine, The Motto was Hannah's favorite song. Out of habit we always did that.

I checked my phone to check the time. My lunch break already? Wow. This morning went by faster the. Usual.

"See you guys in a half hour!" I called, as I turned on my heel and walked out of the dimly lit store.

I squeezed by the obsessed fans, thankfully I wasn't that loyal. But, it's kind of amazing how they are here.

Wow.

Just wow.

I decided to break into a sprint. I would never make it if I didn't. I've already wasted five minutes of attempting, but failing to get by the crowd.

I managed not to cause a catastrophe while running. I reached the food court only to notice that I would have no chance of getting my food in time with the large crowd at almost every line. I decided I would have to settle for a pretzel, and maybe a coke.

I turned and ran towards the end of the mall, dodging random shoppers who are probably confused at why I was running. I tripped on my feet, but didn't fall, I almost did. But, no, I just stumbled.

When I got to the pretzel line, there was no where there. Yes, I can get something to eat quick! I walked upto the cashier.

"What can I get you?" The boy behind the register asked.

"One salted pretzel, and a medium Pepsi please." I answer quickly, in a breathless tone from running.

"Okay!" He answers, and gets the pretzel. He hands it to me, then fills up the medium cup with Pepsi. When he was done, he put it on the countar. "That'll be $6.50, ma'am." The boy tells me.

I drop seven dollars in his hand. "Keep the change." I say, in a hurried voice. I had ten minutes. Unless I run, I won't make it. And, I can't unless I want to spill everything.

I decided to chance it, and just jog. But, I wasn't being smart, and I just looked at the ground. Right before I took a bite of my pretzel, I felt something hard hit my chest, then something cold.

I've figured out one thing, the hard thing.. That was someone's chest.

I looked up to figure that out.

Oh my fucking god.

It's Louis Tomlinson's!

"Im so sorry, love!" Louis said, apoligetically.

I felt the liquid of the Pepsi run down my shirt. Shit. Today was not my day.

Louis also had some on his white shirt.

"I wasn't looking where I was going." I said, flustered.

"Me either." He said, laughing.

I sighed, two minutes. "I have to get back to work."

"Where do you work."

"Hollister." I answered, embarrassed. Why did he care so much?

"I'll be looking forward to seeing you then. Do you mind if I get your number?" Lou asked, confidently.

"S-sure.. I'm Jeanie." I said, my voice shaking.

Louis Tomlinson just asked for my number.
