We walked up to the school and saw kids standing there by the door.
I turned to nico and saw a motorcycle pull into the student lot.
"Whoa." I said.
Some of the kids stopped talking and looked at him before they started snickering and saying something about "emo freak."
The kid pulled his helmet off and it was immediately replaced with a black hoodie.
He rushed past us with his head down and his hands in his pockets however before he could make it inside one of the more buff kids grabbed his arm.
The kid whirrled around and slammed his fist into the kids face.
Bad idea apparently because the other kids surrounded him.
He looked down as they started talking saying things i couldnt hear.
I was enraged. It was my first day here and i was already seeing what i assume was bullying.
Then a redhead i recognized who responds to the name rachel came out the door and punched one of the guys before pulling the kid inside.
"Rachel!" I called and she turned to look at me.
She smiled and waved us over.
We entered the building and stopped as we saw paul talking to the kid with the hoodie who in turn handed him headphones a pair of earings and a lip ring before walking away.
Rachel sighed and shook her head. "Hes so different here than he is at camp."
"Who?" I asked. Leo facepalmed and nico rolled his eyes.
"Percy. Obviously." Leo said sassily.
"Wait that was percy?"
Rachel nodded.
Percy. The kid who always smiles and doesnt even know how to ride a bike has a motorcycle and is probably wearing more black than nico.
That was unexpected.
