Sunlight flooded the room with its vast rays and landed on Bella's face. She turned and used her pillow as shield from the blinding light,cursing under her breath. As she closed her eyes to resume her sleep, her phone began to ring.

Oh Mother of Christ! Can't someone get a decent sleep? She yelled sitting up on the bed,throwing her pillow aside.

Picking up the phone and looking at the caller ID,she rubbed her eyes. Seeing it was her aunt, her mood was lightened.

"Good morning Aunt" she greeted picking the phone on its second ring.

"How's my beautiful angel doing?" Her aunt asked at the other end in a high spirited tone.

"I'm fine ma,just waking up from sleep" she stretched. "It's so hot over here in Monterrey"

"Yeah honey,the weather is usually very intense around this particular month of the year"

"Wow!. I need to hit the mall and get some extra sunscreens then.. I don't wanna have a sunburn"

"Now tell me..... Did you get the job baby? I've been eager all week to hear some good news that I might get a heart attack soon". Bella laughed as she took short strides to the window while she listened to her aunt talking over the phone. She could be  a total drama queen when she was overly excited.

"Calm down Aunt,don't give yourself a b.p. It's just an internship; a couple of months or a year, I guess. I'm just a temporary employee so I might leave unless they decide to retain me after that".

"Who cares about that? As far you are in there,you're getting that job baby after all I'm aware of your capabilities".

"Thanks a lot aunt,I really needed that encouragement".

" So,how's Caleb doing?" She chirped in.

"He's perfectly okay, he'll be back by the weekend or next week probably".

"Alright, I got to go now. I have a crazy boss that I'm assisting and the jerk gets on my nerves ..... I've got to rush and get few clothes before he surfaces".

"So tell me about this boss of yours. Is he sexy and handsome or just basically the busy working type?"

Bella quickly covered her mouth to muffle the laughter building up in her chest. She could imagine her aunt taking her seat and turning down the volume of the TV to get every detail of the story. Typical attitude she displayed

"Aunt, there's really no time for gossips and talks now. I'm gonna hang up"

"Hold on young Missy. You owe me an interesting discussion so when will I -?"

"Alright. Fine....after my day at work today, I'll call in the evening" she replied raising her hands up in total surrender.

"Now that's my atta girl. That's great honey, take care of yourself. Mama loves you". She made a smooching sound in the background and hung up immediately.

  Bella smiled and plopped down on the bed,running her hand through her hair she thought of the previous day. Images of Jacob rushed through her thoughts and she blushed. That guy was definitely something else. No one had stirred her emotions in months now and out of nowhere, this crazy young man made her feel nervous and conscious of herself.

"You better get a grip of yourself Bella" she cautioned herself as she walked into the bathroom.
