Garroth's pov (Play music)

I held Aphmau in my arms and whispered "I'll never let you go." Tears started streaming down her face and she said "Garroth, I don't want this to be the end." I hugged her and said "Aphmau, I will protect you." I got up and I could hear the glass starting to shatter. "Aphmau, I'm going out." I said and she practically jumped on me. "Garroth no! Don't leave me alone!" She cried and I started to cry.

It started to get darker in the room and I noticed that the sun was setting. "Aphmau, I'll be fine." I gave her a sad smile and I could hear the groans of the Shadows. "Aphmau I won't let them hurt you." I said and she shook her head. "I promise that I will fight until the sun rises and you and I will be Safe and sound." I said choking back the tears. Honestly, I was scared half to death.

Not by the shadows but by them overthrowing me and......taking Aphmau. "When I go out there do not dare look out the window. You hid." I said this because I could hear crackling of fire and when I glanced out the window the tees were on fire. This didn't feel safe but, I would do anything ANYTHING for Aphmau. "Aphmau." I said and she looked up at me.

"I love you." I said and she started crying again. "Just close your eyes and pretend your back at home. Don't worry about me." I said as I stroked her tear stained face. "Everything will be alright." I said and gripped the handle of my sword. "Garroth no! Please no!" She yelled and sank to her knees. Then, there was a large splitting sound and the door broke into pieces.

I took a deep breath and readied my sword. I fought the shadows but then there became to be too much. Their shadow claws scratched against my skin and started to try and push me down. "I will protect her!" I yelled and I felt a burst of energy. I stood up and with all my might started chopping them down. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Aphmau with her covering her face in the corner and a Shadow was about to strike.

"Aphmau!" I yelled and pushed her. I felt something sharp pierce my skin and I froze. "GARROTH!" She screamed. I could hear the dead laughs of the Shadows and it pulled out its claws. I fell to my knees and dropped my sword. A-A-A........ph.....mau." I said and I felt something warm creep up my throat. I let out a cough and blood spilled from my mouth. This is it......I am dead. That is at least what I thought.

"NOOO!" I heard Aphmau scream as I fell to the floor. Then, I saw a bright light come from Aphmau and all of a sudden she had wings. I tried to stay alive with all my might but I was slowly dying. Then, a light came from her hands and a sword appeared. In three minutes flat she had slayed all of the Shadows and I smiled at her. "Garroth!" She yelled and ran over to me.

"Garroth don't you dare die on me! Do not dare leave me or I will never forgive you!" She yelled as her tears dripped on my cheeks. "Aphmau." I whispered and touched her cheek. "Please, please. You said that we would be fine. What about your promise? Don't die!" She yelled and cried even more. "Where does it hurt?" She asked and I put my hand against her cheek. "I love you. And I will always be with you but."

I took a hurtful breath. "I will be with you in your heart." I saw her fist clench and she yelled "No! I need you alive!" I smiled sadly and she let out a loud sob as I felt myself drifting off into death. "Please......" She said as she put her head on my chest. "Don't leave."

(NO NO NO please don't leave. Don't worry this is not the end so please don't rage quit! So how does everyone like it hmm? Can anybody guess what is going to happen next? Well find out next chapter. Hope you like the sorta cliffhanger.) :-)
