Garroth's pov

After a while of just being in my room I ended up hearing a knock at my door. I didn't answer but then I heard a non familiar voice. I sat up and said "Please go away." Then, the person spoke. "Garroth, please open up. My name is Lillian and I know whats going on with you." My eyes widened and she continued. "I can help you get rid of those feelings. I know how you will never feel jealous again."

I was stupid. I don't know why I opened the door but.......I did. Standing there was a girl with black hair and a purple dress. "Hello Garroth." She smiled and I asked "How do you know my name?" She smiled again and said "A very nice girl. I think her name was um, ah! Cadenza." I slightly smiled and motioned for Lillian to come in. She walked in and picked up one of my letters to Aphmau.

"Ah! No that's mine!" I snatched it out of her grasp and shoved it in one of the drawers. "Sorry." She said and I shook my head and said "No, its fine." She smiled and said "Okay, Garroth, I want to help you. I want to help you escape from all this hate." I looked at the ground and said "How did you know I was jealous?" She thought for a moment and said "Well, normally guards wouldn't hide in their room like a child."

I frowned but........he was right. I was acting like a child. "Garroth, I am going to help you forget about Aphmau." I was shocked and I looked up at her. "I don't want to forget about Aphmau...........I love her." Lillian looked sad as she casted her head to the balcony door. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to do this to you but, Aphmau is in love with Laurence. If you don't believe me, take a look out there."

I went out onto the balcony and I almost broke down. I saw Aphmau hugging Laurence and they were talking about something. After that night, I never wanted to come out of my room until I heard Laurence' voice behind the door. "Garroth! We are having a guard meeting right now!" I sighed and knew I couldn't miss this. I got up, waited until my eyes weren't red anymore and I followed Laurence.

All of the guards were gathered and Aphmau started talking. "Okay, we need a plan. Zane is waging war on us if we don't find Nicole but, she is nowhere to be found." Everyone started talking about plans and I just kept quiet. I looked down at my hands and remembered, 'the easiest way to forget someone is to act like they aren't there.' So that's what I started to do. After the meeting, I went strait back to my room.

For some reason, I started thinking about home, about O'kasis. I remembered that day when my mom died. (okay, I have no idea about Garroth's mom dying but I am just going to have that.) I held onto her hand and she said "Garroth.......please, don't let your father change Zane. He is a good boy but he is too young to know what is right and what is wrong.

And Garroth. Please, don't ever go bad. Never be jealous......just please......for me?" She smiled and then closed her eyes. I still remember all those tears I cried. I shook my head forcing her words to the darkest forgotten place in my mind. I couldn't take it anymore. After some time, the war had started. Aphmau was not able to find Nicole on time but, I knew that I needed to help defend Phoenix Drop.

I grabbed my sword and started to fight the O'kasis guards. I helped Aphmau and she looked really happy. Then, Aphmau saw the lord of Scaleswind in the plaza and she yelled "Stop! Why are you doing this!?" He let out a laugh and he said "Because! You have been hiding my daughter away from me! You made us all believe she was dead!" Then, I saw Nicole. She looked so angry.

She waled right up to her father and then she punched him hard in the face. He grabbed his face and she yelled "Enough!" They started talking and I left. I didn't want to stay. Some time passed and I was walking around when I saw Laurence at Ungrth's grave. (Sorry if I didn't spell that right.) I was upset about what I was going to do but, I need to follow my brother.
