Your POV:

Lately you noticed that Jojo's dad was acting strange, like right now. "Okay, take a good long look!" Mr. Mcdodd waved his limp arm and ran up the stairs. "Thanks Jojo! Please help (Y/n)!" I glanced at Jojo who shrugged and we carried the stuff to the observatory.

Soon more things started happening around Whoville, which Jojo and I began to wonder. "Horton is a giant elephant in the sky!" I looked up with Jojo and his mom with the rest of the town. "Don't bother to look he's invisable."

After that he started going on and on about being a speck and about this Horton. Everyone seemed to not believe him, but I did. The wind pick up slightly which scared me a bit. A hand gently wrapped around mine, seeing Jojo's hand.

"Why aren't they listening to your dad. Jojo?" I asked as he shrugged. Nedd then came running toward us. "I'm sorry I let you down...but...this...this way bigger than me.Get the family together and get somehwere safe!" Jojo took my hand and pulled me with his mom.

We all got underground and Jojo was holding me close, making me blush. Suddenly the ground eurpted big. We all fell, but weren't near anything that harmed up. "(Y/n)? Are you okay?" My eyes glanced up to meet Jojo's brown ones. I nodded at his soft quiet voice.

We all came out only hear Jojo's dad talking to Horton! All of sudden, it all went down hill again. Everyone had to make as much noise as possible to get from being destoyed. "We are here! We are here! We are here!" I panicked from all this.

"(Y/n)!" Jojo said and nodded his head at the observatory. He grabbed my hand and we ran to set everything we had set up.

Ned Mcdodd POV:

"Are sure everyone in Who-Ville is trying!" Horton said and I quickly looked around, then realized something. Jojo and (Y/n) were nowhere in site.

Your POV:

I was ready on top to open the observatory window  when Jojo's dad came in. Jojo had started all the intruments as I smiled at the sound. Him and his dad landed by me as we open to hatchet.

We rode all the back to the Mayor's Office and ran up to the place Horton's voice was coming through. "Can they hear!?" "NO!" Everyone stopped and I gasped. Ned turned to Jojo to say something, but I didn't hear.

I felt someone hug me and it was Jojo who started whispering in my ear. "we're the only ones left." I smiled with a blush nodding. Him and I ran to the very top with the speaker. Both of us then took a deep breath. "YOOP!"

"We did it!" The Mayor yelled. I hugged Jojo and laughed happily. Jojo laughed too as Ned talked with Jojo. It was great seeing Jojo smiling again with his dad and I sat on the edge of the balcony.

I laughed as Horton started singing. "And even as I wonder, I'm keeping you in site." Then Jojo's dad which made it more funny. "You're a candle in the window!" "On a cold dark winter's night!" Mrs. Mcdodd joined.

"And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might!" "Woho! that's a little high for me!" Horton said and I chuckled, glancing as everyone began to sing. "Baby I can't fight this feeling anymore!" "I forgotten what I started fighting for!"

"And if I had to crawl upon the floor!" "Crashing though your door!" Wow. Mrs. Mcdodd sang really good. "Baby I-" Then my heartbeat quickened at the next one who sang and turned around to see Jojo. Singing!!! "I can't fight this feeling any.......Moooooooore!!"

Jojo then turned to me, smiling before pulling me down close to him and looking in my eyes lovingly. I blushed heavily as I seen his face get closer. My breath hitched as I felt him kiss me! Of course I kissed back.

He pulled away, taking my hands gently. "(Y/n). I've been keeping it in for so long and......" I noticed everyone was silent. "Yes?" Urging him to go on. "...and.....I really really like you. Would you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled, hugging him. "Yes, Jojo. I would love to be your girlfriend!" I heard everyone cheer loudly at the answer. "I knew it! I knew it! Mayor! I just knew Jojo and (Y/n) woud get together!" Horton yelled happily.

Jojo's dad must've told Horton our names, but I'm glad Jojo likes me back and I kissed him yet again.
