Driving back to StroyBrooke was a quiet ride, I was in the front while Henry was reading his book in the back

"Look if what I said back at my place offended you then-" Emma began but I cut her off

"No, your right. I am broken, sorta. My moms just on the verge of dying and I have no father figure around" I sigh "It's just kinda hard right now"

"I know how you feel kid" she commented, I looked at her confused, she did?

I didn't want to poke into her past so I let it go

"I'm hungry. Do you wanna stop somewhere?" Henry commented

"This is not a road trip. We're not stopping for snacks" Emma replied

"Why not?" He questioned

"Quit complaining, kid" She said slightly annoyed, she checked her mirror and saw Henry reading more of his book

"What's that?" She questioned

"I'm not sure you're ready" he said

"Ready for some fairy tales?" She questioned

"They're not fairy tales. They're true, every story in this book actually happened" he said

"Of course it did" she muttered

"Use your superpower, see if I'm lying" he said slightly coping what I said earlier, I started digging through my bag for some food for Henry, and I found some granola bars in the side pocket I put in there this morning

"Just because you believe something doesn't make it true" she said

"That's exactly what makes it true" he replied "You should know that more than anyone"

"Whys is that?" She questioned

"Because you're in this book" he said

"Oh, kid. You've got problems" she sighed

"Yep, and your gonna fix 'em" he said

I turned around and held out a bar to him, he smiled and took it, Emma looked at me

"You want it, you can have it" I said holding it out to her, she took it with a 'thanks'

Henry went back to his book as I plugged in my head phones staring out the window

Eleven year old Adriana raced her parents across their lands of their kingdom to see who could get to the barn and back

"Faster Angel faster!" The girl urged her horse as her parents were catching up

She beat them by just a hair as she got back to the barn first, she excitedly jumped off her horse as she danced around in victory

"I did it! I did it!" As she raised her hands in the air, electricity shout from her hands onto the tree making a branch fall between her and her parents

"Addy!" The parents both shouted in worry for their child as the branch was closer to hitting her

"Stay away, I-I done want to hurt you" the girl cowered in fear as her parents tried to approach her

"Addy it's okay sweetie, just let us come to you" Snow said calmly to her daughter not wanting to scare her more

"No! Please! Stay away!" As Adriana said that a blast of electricity shot from her hands towards another tree branch making it fall closer towards Andriana

"Addy!" The parents shouted as the girl ran in fear from herself, she didn't want t hurt her parents

Adriana's heart raced as she ran through the woods escaping her parents, she didn't want to cause anymore harm than she already did

She could hear her parents calls to her but she couldn't hear them due to the blood rushing through her ears as she looked around the forest looking for a way out

But all the trees just looked the same, they spun around her making her dizzy as she fell against a tree

She slowly sank down and hugged her knees to her chest and lightly sobbed

She was so scared, afraid her family would leave her, afraid of the ones she could hurt,

Afraid of what true power was hidden within her

"Addy! Addy! Ad- oh thank goodness you're okay!" Her mother said sitting beside her pulling her into a hug and her father did the same on the other side

"Princess? Why are you crying?" Her father questioned, his heart broke just at the sight of his daughter upset

"I-I could have hurt you, or someone else. I'm a monster!" The little girl sobbed as her parents pulled her into a tighter hug

"You're not a monster, you were just scared, it's alright. We're here now" her mother spoke calmly to her frightened little girl

"Bu-but what if it happens again and I can't control it?" The girl questioned looking back and forth between her parents

"Then we'll find a way, us Charming's always find a way" her father said wiping away his crying daughters tears

"Promise?" Adriana sniffled

Her parents brought her in a little tighter hug

"Promise"

Snow White and Charming were trying to find Magic teachers for their daughter, her magic had spun out of control lately that she was to scared to leave her room

"Who are we gonna find to teach her? She needs someone she- and us- can trust. Not someone who's like Regina" Snow pointed out, then Charming got an idea

"What about the fairies, they have Magic and can teacher her perfectly on her powers" Charming said, Snow nodded agreeing

They contacted Blue as soon as they could as she appeared in front of the two

"You asked?" She said

"It's about our daughter, Adriana. She's got powers of some sort and we can't seem to figure them out" Snow said

"I had a feeling that this would happen, I sensed her magic the moment you received her. She's very powerful" Blue commented

"She needs a teacher, can you do it?" Charming asked, getting straight to the point

"I can, but it will take years until she will fully master them, but she can't always rely on magic to help her when she's in trouble" Blue said

"Then we will teacher her how to use weapons, and fight like a knight" Charming said

"When shall I teach her?" Blue asked

"As soon as you can"

Blue knocked on Adriana's door waiting for her to open, the poor girl felt so scared to even look at her door

"Yes?" She asked, not getting close to the door

"May I come in? I'm here to help you" Blue said kindly, sensing the girl's fear

"O-okay" the girl stuttered, unlocking her door letting the fairy in

"Your mother and father tell me of your powers, may I ask what has happened so far?" Blue asked cautiously, not wanting to scare her of herself

"Lighting, just shot out of my hands, and then I don't know what else I have. How do I control it?" Adriana questioned the fairy

"Here" said the fairy, placing a ring in her hand, the girl looked at the beautiful ring confused

"It's to help control your magic, but once you've mastered it, the ring will no longer glow. That's when you will know to take it off" the fairy explained, the girl smiled at the beautiful accessory that should would wear for a very long time

Adriana places the ring on her ring finger and looked at the fairy

"When do we start?"

It became darker as we entered StoryBrooke, it was raining a bit but still it was very dark

We cursed down the streets as Emma broke the silence

"Okay, kid. How about an address?" She questioned

"44 I'm-not-telling your street" he said, she stopped the car in the middle of the road

She got out slamming the door as electricity came from the power box, weird

Henry and I soon got out as well

"Look, it's been a long night, and it's almost 8:15?" She said looking at the clock

"That clock hasn't moved my whole life" Henry said "Time's frozen here"

"Excuse me?" She questioned

"The Evil Queen did it with her curse. She sent everyone from the enchanted forest here" Henry mentioned

"Hang on, an Evil Queen sent a bunch of fairy tale characters here?" Emma question, clearly not convinced

"Yeah, and now they're trapped" he added

"Frozen in time, and stuck in StoryBrooke, Maine--that's what you're going with?" Emma questioned, Henry really isn't convincing in this topic

"It's true" he said

"Then why doesn't everybody just leave?" She questioned

"They can't. If they try, bad things happen" he said

"Henry!" Someone said, we turned to see Dr. Hopper and Pongo walking towards is "What are you going here?"

"Is everything alright?" He asked as Pongo sniffed us, I crouched down and started petting behind his ears, his tail wagged from side to side

"I'm fine Archie" he said as Pongo whimpered for Henry to pet him, and he did

"Who is this?" Archie asked as I stood up

"Just someone trying to give him a ride home" Emma replied

"She's my mom, Archie" Henry added, Archie looked at me in disbelief and I nodded saying it's true

"Oh. I see" he said

"Do you know where he lives?" Emma asked since Henry wouldn't tell her

"Uh, yeah, sure. Just, uh, right up on Mifflin Street. The mayors house is the biggest one on the block" he said as Henry looked down at his shoes

"You're the mayors kid?" She asked, sounding annoyed

"Uh, maybe" Henry said, I sighed looking at my phone, the hospital closes soon and I need to check up in my mom

"Henry, listen" I said crouching to his level "You can blame all this in me, okay? I have to see my mom before they close up the hospital. Tell your mom it was all my idea okay? I'll see you tomorrow" I said, he hugged me before I left to go see my mom, I hope she's better

And I hope Henry does what I asked

Sixteen year old Adriana was walking through the market place just looking around when she heard people screaming

"Thief! Thief! Get back here!" A woman yelled, She turned to see a body rushing by as it hit her side, it knocked her off my feet but before she could touch the ground one of her guards caught her before she fell, the other went after the thief

"Are you alright Adriana?" He asked, She nodded brushing herself off

"Fine, I'm okay" She said as she heard a grunt not to far away, she quickly rushed to see her other guard holding down the thief

"You know what to do pick a hand" a man said, who she guessed he stole from

"Stop!" She said rushing in front of the man who had stole "This is not how we settle a problem!"

"I'm sorry your highness, but he stole from my shop!" He complained

"Here" She said handing him a pouch full of coins "This should pay for what he stole and extra for something else, I'll deal with the theif myself"

"Yes your highness, many thanks" he said bowing and leaving, everyone else started to leave

She turned toward the man and her breath caught in her throat, he was a handsome thief indeed,

He thought the princess looked beautiful, no one had hardly seen the princess but the two royal guards by her side made it obvious, all he could do was stare at her, but there was a slight age difference

He was 21, and she was 16, five years is only a number

But neither of them knew each other's age

They quickly stopped themselves from staring and she got straight to the point

"Let's take him back to the castle, I want to have a talk with him" her guards ruffly picked him off his feet "Unhurt" she added

They did as told and brought him back to her carriage, her guards held the door open as they let her through first then the thieving man

They were off quickly back to the palace and took a short cut through a bumpy road, the ride was silent and awkward until a bump on the roof was heard

The horse squealed with terror as they heard her guards fighting someone, the thief took his chance and quickly got out of the carriage

"Hey! Get back here!" She said getting out after him, but people surrounded her, more thieves

"Well looky here, we captured ourselves a princess" one snickered as they came closer to her

"Please, I don't want any trouble, I have money and we can all walk away from here" they looked at each other and laughed

"I think that your life is far more valuable then any money you give" another sneered

"Help!" She cried out as they closed the circle, but someone knocked one over the head with a stick, it was the thief, they other thieves growled and started to fight him and he challenged them on

Another one grabbed his staff and charged at him but he grabbed the staff and hit his stomach with it, also sending a blow to his face, knocking him out, someone else came close to him but he elbowed him in the face, knocking him out as well, one hit his back with a staff and he turned around quickly hitting his own staff onto his face

Before she could thank him a cold, sharp metal was placed against my neck, her hands behind her back, the thief disappeared

"Looks like your coming with me" he whispered in my ear, sending shivers down her spine

"Afraid not" a voice said as she felt the metal leave her neck and a large crack was heard, the thief had knocked him out cold like the rest of them

"Are you alright?" He asked her, she nodded panting a bit, that was the first time that's ever happened to her

"Yes I'm fine" She noticed a small cut on his face that was bleeding "You're bleeding"

He put his hand to his cut and he winced a bit but made it seem as if it didn't hurt, "It's just a cut" he said

"Here" She said holding her hand a little bit away from his face as a white light came out of my hands, closing up the wound

He put his hand to his face after she moved her's away and saw no blood coming from it

"H-how did you do that?" He questioned, her guards came rushing back and quickly went to me, holding a sword to the thief

"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" They asked different questions

"Yes, I'm alright. In fact, he saved me" She said, they looked to him and he nodded lightly

"I haven't asked, but what's your name exactly?" She asked him

"Nicholas, call me Nic" he said "And you?"

"Adriana, call me Addy" She said smiling, they walked back to the carriage and he held the door for me to walk inside, she thanked him and sat down

He got in and closed the door as the carriage took off again

Little did they know, that it was the beginning of true love

I made it to the hospital not to long after I left Henry, I walked into my mothers room and she was in a coma

I felt my eyes become glossy as I sat by her side holding her hand as the only sounds between us was the heart monitor

"Mom..." I choked out through tears as I looked at her face, an oxygen mask was on her nose as she laid still, not moving, or saying a thing

"I'm so sorry, please come back to me..." I whispered, tears falling down my face

All she ever did was do her best to take care of me and she's paying her life for it

I'm not even eighteen yet, who will I live with when she's gone?

I wish Henry's book was real, then I could have an actual happy ending....

Adriana and Nic walked through the gates of her palace, they entered the dining room and she told Nic to sit down

He did and sat down "Mother! Father!" Addy yelled through the castle's echoey walls

The sound of shoes hitting stairs caught her attention, they rushed towards their daughter and wrapped her in a hug

"A guard told us of what happened, are you alright?" Snow asked frantically

"Yes mother, I'm alright" she said as Charming held her face with his hands

"No bruises, scratches, or marks of any kind. Thank goodness" her father sighed with relief as she giggled removing his hands from her face

"And here is the man who saved me, mother, father, this is Nic. He's the one who saved my life" She said as Nic looked confused

"You did now?" Charming asked, suspicious of the strangers motive with his daughter

"Father!" Addy whined

"Just making sure" he said snow lightly pushed him

"Thank you for saving our daughter, how can we repay you?" Snow asked, the thief shook his head

"No payment needed, especially since for the first reason I was here" he said, leaning back into the chair he sat in

"Yes, now I must ask. What have you the motive to steal? What did you steal?" Addy asked Nic, her father shadowed over his daughter protectively

"I stole a necklace, an expansive one at that" he dropped the necklace in the table, a beautiful hand crafted necklace made of the finest of crystals in the mines

Diamonds all around the chain, and a beautiful center piece of a ocean blue gem

"I stole it to get more money, and it looked like it was worth a lot. So I stole it, but your daughters guards caught me before I could escape" he said, Addy kept staring at the gem, she thought it was beautiful

"And you needed money for a reason, what was that reason?" Snow asked the man

"I'm not the richest person, and certainly not the smartest. But my mother is ill and my father spends our money on beer every night. He's used so much of it that we can't afford to get my mother the medicine she needed, so I started stealing. Small things here and there, but the necklace would have made me rich, if I didn't get caught, but that's why I stole" he said arms crossed

"I'm so sorry..." Addy said, she could feel nothing but pity for the man she had grown close to, over the not so long period of time

"It is what it is" he sighed standing up, he started to leave when Snow got an idea

"Why don't you stay? Our daughter could use a personal guard. After what happened today I doubt there won't be more people out there trying to hurt her. What do you say?" She spoke, Nicholas looked at the teenage girl and knew she would be an easy target amongst thieves and robbers

"Alright, when do I start?"

Addy paced around her room nervously, her birthday ball was tonight, and she was so nervous

"Your pacing again" Her mother said entering the room, Andria slightly smiled

"I'm just nervous, what if I mess up while I'm dancing? Or make a fool of myself?" She questioned looking at her new blue dress in the mirror

"Addy I see no way you could make a fool of yourself, you'll be fine" her mother said, giving her daughter a better feelings

"There's the birthday girl!" Her father said coming into the room, he came in and kissed her forehead

"You look gorgeous" he said, making her smile

"Thank you father" she said

"We have some news for you" Snow said looking at her husband smiling, then back at her daughter

"I'm pregnant" her mother said, shocking the young girl

"What?! Really?!" The girl exclaimed with joy standing up from her chair

"Yes, your going to have a little brother or sister" Her dad said, she hugged the two

"Oh this is amazing! You have to let me help you design the nursery!" She exclaimed

"Done, Oh! I've forgotten the hairbrush! I'll go get it, and you-" she pointed to her husbands chest "need to get ready"

"I know, I know" he said leaving the room along with her, Addy sat down in her chair about to pull out her braids, but she looked up and Nic stood behind her

"You look beautiful..." he said, making her blush, she didn't know why she blushed, but she would soon find out

"Thank you" she said smiling

"Well, I uh, just came to give you your present" he said holding up a wrapped box and placing it in front of her

"You didn't have to get me anything" she said

"I know, but I wanted to. Open it" he said, she blushed once more

She took the beautiful wrapped box and began to open it carefully, when she finished she lightly gasped, it was the necklace he had stolen from the market

"Don't worry, I went back and payed for it. Now I want to give it to you, here I'll put it on" he said, she handed him the necklace and she moved her hair out of the way

He clipped in the necklace onto her neck and she moved her hair back

"A beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl" he said, making Adriana blush again as he said that

Snow walked into the room, and quietly she walked towards her daughter

"Oh, Nicholas what are you doing here?" Snow asked as she carried in a box and brush

"Oh, I um was just giving Addy her birthday gift, I was about to get ready in uniform for the party. I'll take my leave now" he said bowing and leaving, Andria hated to see him go, and Nic the same for her

But neither of them knew their true feelings for one another just yet

"Now, let's do your hair" Snow smiled towards her daughter as did she, and snow got to work

After she was done, her hair looked beautiful

Flower like hair pieces were mixed into her beautiful hair, Addy absolutely adored it

"That should surely impress Nicholas" Snow said secretly tricking her daughter

"Yeah...." she said but quickly caught on "Wait, what?!"

Snow giggled "I knew you liked him honey, the signs are all there. It's what happened to your father and I. But you know he's 21 and your 17, it's a slight age difference, but I think it could work out" she teased

"Mom!" She whined, covering her tomato face, her mother lightly laughed

"Now, we have a ball to go to" her mother said, Andria agreed

Addy walked down the stairs with her father as escort, and was fretted with lots of claps and cheers, in one more year she would become queen

She was excited for that, but nervous as well, but tonight was her night, and she wouldn't let anything ruin that

"Addy!" Said a voice, it was her great friend Ella and her husband Thomas

"Ella! Thomas!" She said as she reached the bottoms of the stairs, Ella engulfed her in a hug

"Happy birthday! Oh look at you, your gonna become queen sooner than you know it!" She exclaimed Adriana laughed

"Calm down, I'm only seventeen, one more year and then I'll be queen" she explained

"Still!" She said, they laughed once more

"Hello Thomas" she said hugging him as well

"Happy Birthday Adriana" he said

"Thanks" she said as they broke apart

"Oh! There dancing now! Quick Thomas let's go!" Ella said cheerfully dragging him to the dance floor, Addy had no partner and her parents were dancing and she didn't want to ruin that

Nicholas quickly noticed this and walked up to her

"Care to dance?" He asked holding out his hand

"Why of course" she smiled and took his hand, he lead her towards the center of the dance floor

She placed a hand in his shoulder and he took her hand in his as they danced in a circle, after two times he spun her around and went back to the beginning position

He took her left hand as they bowed to one another twice, and they went in a half circle and bowed to each other again, then they went the opposite way in a half circle and bowed once again

They did another half circle opposite ways and he let her go as she spun around and joined different hands, he spun her again and joined back to where he was holding her left hand

Then the doors slammed open, and with them came the Evil Queen, the crowd gasped and back away letting her pass

They all knew what she was capable of

"Sorry I'm late" she said smiling wickedly

She scanned the crowd and her eyes found Andria in the middle of the crowd, Nicholas drew his sword and stood in front of her

"Adriana!" Her parents yelled rushing towards her, her mother wrapped her in a protective hug, her father also drew his sword

"I have a gift for you Addy, and of course your lovely family" she sneered evilly

"We want nothing from you!" Her mother said

"But you shall have it!" She demanded, everyone in the room eyes filled with fear as she approached closer

"Now my gift to you is the happy, happy day, for tomorrow my real work begins. You've had your happy birthday. Soon everything you love, everything all of you love will be taken from you forever, and out of your suffering will rise my victory. I shall destroy your happiness, if it is the last thing I do" She said, she started to walk away

It was like she didn't want to hurt the girl, but her family

"Hey!" Her father yelled, as the Evil Queen turned around, he threw his sword as her neck

But before it could reach her she disappeared in a cloud of black smoke as the sword disappeared with her

Charming hugged his wife and daughter out of fear from the Evil Queen
