5 years back :

It had been 2 days already and Liam hadn't texted me. I was becoming restless now and thought about texting him.

I clicked on the yellow button of the Wattpad app. I opened the chat box and texted Liam .

"Heya !"

"You online ?"

I waited for 10 mins , but there was no reply . I was bored and thought of reading a story on Wattpad.

I opened my reading list and found a romantic story which had nearly 50M reads. I read the prologue and it was damn interesting.

As I had no other work to do and my monster friends weren't here to disturb me , I continued reading.

After sometime I read the epilogue . The book had nearly 29 chapters I guess and I was so lost in reading it that I hadn't even checked my other notifications.

When I checked the time , it had already been two hours .

I opened the chat box again and saw that Liam had texted me nearly 30mins back.

"Hey there ! Howsssssss youuuuuuuuu belladonna ? I missssssed youuuuuuuuu ❣️"

"Hey bestie ! Am good ! How's you? Even I missed you a helllll lotttt !"

"Am grand as always ;) "

"You still at your aunt's place ?"

"Yup ! Family get togethers can be long and tiring ."

"But that's so much fun !"

"Yeah that's right !"

"Whassup ?"

"Just came back from bath . Was doing cardio ."

"You do cardio and stuff ?"

"Yes ! Am much into fitness . I do cardio , yoga and many other things !"

"Wow you are a fitness freak !"

"Is it you in the profile picture ?"

"Not really :) "

"Then who's he ?"

"Idk ;) "

"It's you :/ "

"May be !"

"Huh ! Idiot "

"So what's your fav genre ?"

"Crime thriller and adventure . Yours ?"

"Ewwwwwww ! I hate romance . I feel like puking when I read it !"

"Okay listen . Am gonna suggest you a book to read. It's a book of genre romance . And the lead character Shane is exactly like you. Carbon copies !"

"Ohh really ?"

"Yeah ! I guess you guys are long lost brothers ;) "

"Huh "

"Try that book . It will make you fall in love with the genre of romance."

"And if it will not ?"

"Give it a try dude ! It won't cost you money !"

"Fine. But if I don't like it , I will spam your mb with my wildest fantasies XD "

"Ahh sure babe. And then I will delete it. As simple as that darling ;) "

"Aye ! You just spoiled my mood !"

"Lol ! You are lame !"

"You too !"

"We both are lame !"

"And that's why we are besties !"

"Okay , go and try that book right now !"

"Fine just one chapter !"

"Whatever !"

"Wait lemme check !"

And then I kept my phone aside .
I thought of reading another story but gave up that idea. Instead I thought of stalking my favourite actor in Instagram.

After waiting for a few minutes, I got a notification from Wattpad.
I knew it was Liam .

"Hey ! That book was yikessss !!!"

"Are you out of your mind ?"

"No ! I mean that was so weird. How can someone fall in love after fighting so much ??"

"It happens in real life dude !"

"And what was Miss Strawberry ? Who calls a girl that ?"

"You are so boring Liam . I could have fallen in love with a guy , who would call me that !"

"Aww miss strawberry !! Lmao !"

"Lol !"

"You know now a days a lot many people are texting me . Mostly girls . Idk why !"

"Because you are famous dude !"

"Nooooo ! That's creepy !"

"You are mad !"

"Do you wanna see how I look ?"

"Wait a minute !"

After 2 mins :

"Did you see my profile picture ?"

"Aye ! You look so cute ! Those chubby cheeks are so sweet ."

"My cheeks aren't chubby :( "

"They are ! And you are really cute !"

"How much I want to pull your chubby cheeks !"

"Haha lol !"

"By the way , I would suggest you to remove this picture from your profile picture ."

"Why ? Is it that bad ?"

"No no no ! It's really good . But everyone here is watching you , so I think you should remove it . Why should strangers know how you look ?"

"I guess you are right!"

"I always am !"

"Whatever ;) "

"Do you know !!!!"

"What ?"

"I have really really really long hair ❣️. See my recent profile picture."

"Okay wait ."

"Oh lord ! That's helluva long hair milady !"

"Just like the story of Rapunzel."

"Haha yeah. But now I have cut my hair. It falls upto my shoulders now."

"I like short hair :) "

"Oh I see !"

"Let's do something interesting !"

"I have an idea. See at this moment we both have exactly the same number of followers. So let's take the 10k challenge . What's say ?"

"That would be fun."

"Won't be fun for you mister , because am gonna win !"

"Let's see who wins ❣️"

"Aye sure !"

After 5 mins :

"Liam ?"

"Hmm ??"

"You fine ?"

"Yeah."

"Don't lie !"

"Am kinda fine."

"That means there's something wrong. Because you aren't grand XD"

"But how the hell did you know ?"

"Super powers ! Remember ?"

"Yeah!

"Am a bit sad Bella ."

"What happened ?"

"Am really frustrated. God never listens to me. He always helps everyone except me . He never fulfills my wishes ."

"Liam . Listen to me. If God is not giving you something you want , may be he's planning something even better for you ? Isn't it ? Listen dear , always try taking things in a positive way and then you will see , things will automatically turn good. "

"It's easy to say. But really hard to execute."

"Do you think am only saying like that ? Liam , it has also happened with me . We never always get what we want."

"What has happened with you ?"

"Once I was in a chess tournament and I had played really well. It was the last round and if I won , I was going to be the champion. But I lost the last round to a player with whom I had won many matches. And atlast I got the 4th rank."

"Aww that's so sad :( "

"You don't have the slightest idea how much I have cried. But I didn't give up hope . The next year when I joined the same tournament , I was more confident and stronger and I became the champion."

"Aww you are my sexy chess player XD"

"Haha yes. So Liam , what I want to say is , never lose hope. May be god is not giving something you want now , but don't worry , you are soon gonna get that. Or even something better. Understood idiot ?"

"Yes miss ! XD "

"Good boy ❤️"

"Divya ?"

"Yeah ?"

"Thank you ❤️ You are my best friend ❤️"

"Always there with you !"

"Hmm ?"

"Nothing! Charge is 3%. Gotta charge my phone ."

And then I kept my phone aside and slid inside my blankets.

Sometimes it feels really good to console your friends and make them happy. Though I hadn't ever seen Liam in real life , I could already imagine the smile he must be having now. The thought itself made me happier.

I suddenly had this urge to open Wattpad again . I seriously don't know why though .

I opened our chat box and there was a text from Liam .

"I love you Divya ❤️❤️"
