After a month :

"Are you like serious Varun ?" I asked him .

"Obviously ! It's gonna work. "

"Nope ! It is really creepy !"

"Ohh shut up."

Now Varun was alone at my house. Kabeeri had gone to bring Chetna and Riya from the mall as they were busy shopping for Arjun's birthday.

And this mad guy , had crossed all limits of madness.

Varun had been on a very serious mission. That day was nearly one month back when Varun said that he wants to assure if I should continue talking to Liam .

And within this month , Liam and I had been pretty good friends. We had really become close and used to talk nearly every day.

It was like an everyday routine to get good morning texts from him and going to bed seeing his goodnight belladonna text.

According to me , we both had many similarities and were totally crazy. And that's why we became best friends in such a short span of time .

And do you know what he was doing ? Making yet another fake account , gave it the username Sass__Queen123 .

He selected the pic of an Indian actress and changed the display picture.

"What the heck are you doing Varunn ?"

"Making him fall in love with Sass__Queen !"

"You already tried it once but failed !"

"Try try try but never cry babydoll." He said probably singing it like and nursery rhymes and winking at me.

"Huh !"

"Okay lemme text Mr Carlson."

"Heya handsome !"

"Hiiiii!"

"My name is Ahana . What's yours ?"

"It's Liam !"

"Ohh nice ! And am from India . Where are you from ?"

"Am from Holland ."

What the heck was this ??? He didn't tell me his whereabouts to me and he told that he belongs to Holland to some random girl he met just now !!

Jealousy filled me. I was angry. And I was kinda upset. Though I didn't know why.

It was because the guy I considered my friend and I thought even he considers me as his friend , was not giving importance to me.

"Ohh that's really nice ! Do you have any friends here ? Am new here. Idk anyone :( "

"Ohh yeah. I have many friends. Like Bella , Rehana , Isabel etc ."

"Ohh that's super amazing !"

"But none of them is close to me

And my heart stopped. That means even am not close to him.
And here I was thinking that we were really good friends and I was kinda special to him.

That kinda broke my heart.

Then Varun's phone started ringing. It was Simran and thus he went outside to talk to her.

I brought my phone and opened Wattpad. There was a text from Liam .

Somehow today I wasn't that excited to talk to him . Still I opened his text.

"Omg !! Bella !! Do you know what just happened ?"

"What ?"

"I shared my whereabouts to an unknown person who texted me :( "

"Wow !"

"Who's he ?"

"Idk if it's he or she !"

"Tell me the username ."

"Nope . If I tell you his username then you will get to know my whereabouts ;) "

"Fine ! Don't tell. "

"Ttyl . "

"You busy ?"

"Nope just tired ."

"Fine . Goodnight Bella ❤️❤️❤️"

"Night Liam ."

And I kept the phone on the table and slipped inside my blankets .

Just then Varun entered looking really happy. It was obvious , he was talking to Simran and she was an amazing sweet girl. We both were good friends .

"Hey babe ! Whassup ?"

"Nothing just tired. "

"Come on tell me what happened ?" He asked cupping my face.

"He said none of those people are his close friends. " I said making a sad face.

"Ohh wait. Lemme show you something ."

He opened Wattpad , looking quite excited.

There was a text from Liam .

" Except Bella ❤️"

What ? Seriously ! Yahoo !

He actually wanted to say that none of those people are close to him except me . And me being such a fool , didn't even talk to him .

"Happy now ?" Varun asked .

"Super happy !" I said excited.

"Aww my baby girl ."

"Lemme text him." I said jumping out of the bed.

"Nah! Not now ! Text him when I go offline. Else he may doubt on us ."

"Yes boss !"

"Okay come on . Let's talk to Mr Carlson !"

Varun replied to his previous text.

"Oh that's nice . She has a nice name !"

"That's not actually her real name . Still I call her that."

"Oh what's her real name ?"

"It's Divya ."

"Nice name."

"Yeah ."

"Okay.  Ttyl Liam ."

"Ttyl buddy. "

And then Varun logged out from his account.

"So can I talk to him now ?"

"Yeah. Go silly girl !"

And I immediately switched Wattpad on and texted Liam .

"Hey !"

"Heya ! You stalking me ?"

"Wtf ! Obviously not !"

"The. How did you come to know that am online ?"

"Idk .I just texted you ."

"Fine ."

"How do we both always come online together ?"

"Because we both are sexy !"

"That we are !"

"Gimme a high five!"

"Yo !"

"Ttyl Bella !"

"Leaving so early ?"

"Yup . Gotta go . "

"Where ?"

"To aunt's house ."

"When will you come online again ?"

"May be after some days . When I return from that place "

"Why ? So manyyyy dayssss ?"

"Family get together Bella ! Can't use phone much ."

"No problem Liam ."

"I will miss you ."

"I will miss you too ! Be back soon. And have fun ."

"Yo ! Bye Bella ! Goodnight !"

"Goodnight sexxxy boy !"

"You called me sexy ?"

"I think so ;) "

"Wowo ! Thanks sexxxy lady ! "

"Later sexy lady ❣️"

And then I kept my phone on the table and slipped happily into my blankets .

Present situation :

" Babydoll ! You there ? Let's go !" Varun shouted .

"Yup . Just a second !" I said quickly wiping away my tears.

Those memories were so fresh in my mind , like they just happened yesterday.

That was an obvious thing , because I had spent so many nights thinking a out all these.

Just when I was about to hold me bag , Kabeer came and lifted the luggage.

"How's Miss Navi Mumbai ?" He asked .

"Am fine Kabir ."

He immediately dropped the language and cupped my face.

"What happened Divs ?" He asked , his eyes filled with concern.

"Can I tell you once we board the flight ?"

"Sure babydoll. Come let's go."

He picked up the luggage. I went to mommy and dad and touched their feet .

"I will miss you both ."

"We will miss you too Jaan." They said hugging me .

"Take care of her ." Mom said to Kabir and he nodded.

"Let's go !" Kabir said looking at me.

"Yup !" And we walked towards the car.

The SUV was completely packed. Varun was driving , Kabiri at the front seat . Me , Chetna and Riya at the back and the back seat full of luggages. I had the most number of bags because I needed so many different types of outfits , shoes and other things for the event.

I sat near the window of the SUV and rested my head on the soft cushion. I looked at the trees passing by. The weather was beautiful.

Everyone was busy with their phones , updating status about the trips. Even I wanted to do the same but somehow my mind and my heart were having a battle . My mind wanted to forget everything , delete all those memories and move on . But my heart ?

It wanted something else. I wanted my friend back. It wanted to save all those precious memories and lock them in my heart.

I slipped back and closed my eyes slowly savouring the peace.

Memories of those days flashed infront of my eyes. A lone tear escaped my eyes but I wiped it quickly. I didn't want my friends to get upset and spoil their trip. But I knew Kabir was gonna ask me anyway.

What do you think we were ? We weren't in a relationship I guess. But our friendship was better than any other relationship in this entire world.

A friendship that started online , we ended up becoming best friends , talking everyday and then suddenly it happened ... He walked away , leaving me alone.

"Sometimes the people you love , hurt you in the worst possible way. "
My inner voice said.

I suddenly opened my eyes , surprised. Wait !

"AM I IN LOVE WITH HIM ?"
