"Divi did you pack everything ?" Mom shouted from downstairs.

"Yes Mumma ! "

"Towels ?"

"Han Ji ."

"Have you put the warm clothes ? It's going to be really cold there. "

"Hann Mumma . Have packed everything. Just give me something to eat. "

"Your friends are going to stay with you right ?"

"Hmmm. " Saying this I put my charger into my backpack .

It was the starting of summer and I was going to the Netherlands for a modelling project .

After a hard work of so many years , finally I had got admission in one of the IIITs and was finally having really good time at the college . It was just amazing . Wonderful atmosphere , amazing teachers and even better friends.

But pursuing my career in engineering did not stop me from following my passion . Modelling !

Yeah I was super passionate about it ! It has always been my dream to work with the most amazing designers and models of the world .

And this was my first step towards it . I had registered in the Miss Navi Mumbai beauty competition and was declared the champion of the event .

As a result, I am lucky enough to take part in its international celebration and go to Netherlands .

My friends are accompanying me less because they wanted to give me company and more because they wanted to enjoy their holidays at this beautiful destination .

Being Miss Navi Mumbai was not a small thing ! And so I could afford the latest iPhone X for myself .
Finally I have an iPhone !!!

3 cheers for me guys !!!

Putting my iPhone in my jeans pocket , I switched on my old phone. Though it was old and it's screen had several scratches, still I loved it . Because it had some really amazing memories .

As I still had 4 hours for the flight , I decided to scroll through the gallery of my old phone .

I saw many photos and I suddenly realised that so much had happened these past 5 years .

We completed our high school and had so many selfies in our beautiful dresses , we had several parties , me joining college , ugly pictures of my friends , selfies with my college friends and some other screenshots .

It's so amazing, how these pictures can tell us so many stories. Each picture had its own importance and each picture had a lovely happy memory.

Then I decided to open my secret gallery and found so many funny things. Like the photos of my friends crush , some chats , and manyyyy ugly pics , especially kept to blackmail my friends.

I decided to check out those screenshots and I was sure am gonna find something funny .

There were chats of me teasing Varun about his crush , calling Kabeer a fatty , we all friends talking about your crushes and many other stuff .

Suddenly while scrolling through the chats , I found a screenshot and my hand stopped .
My hand became numb and my heart started beating fast.
I could probably hear my heart beat.

It was a screenshot with yellow background. A screenshot from Wattpad . It was the screenshot of our chats. And the username was written in bold - Liam_Carlson_

It was a screenshot of we playing truth and dare . As in swiped right , there were several other similar screenshots.

I had captured every memory with him . Each moment spent with him was kept in my secret gallery.

Suddenly many memories flashed back. How we met , how we became best friends , how we started talked nearly each day and how .... He left ....

My vision was clouded and I could feel hot drops of tears on my face.

It has been 5 years ! Hows he ? Is he fine ? Does he still remember me ?

I wiped away those tears and smiled when I scrolled down to see screenshots of our video calls.

And then I remembered that day ! It was exactly 5 years back. 

THE DAY WE MET !

5 YEARS BACK  :

The sun rays fell on my face , telling me that it was already time to wake up . The birds chirped happily making noise and flying with their loved ones .

Sun was shining and light cool waves blowing. I clutched my bedsheets and covered my face with it.

Who's gonna wake up today ? It's the first day of summer holidays !

"Divi..... Get up baby. It's already 6:30am !!" My mom shouted from downstairs.

"Mommy .... Holidays... Lemme sleep."
And then I heard her laughing.

Finally today there was no one to stop me from sleeping. Me and my bed , we are in a happy relationship.

I closed my eyes to get lost in my dream land again .

Buzzz buzzz buzzzzz

"Uffff now who's this monster calling ?" I shouted irritated , picking up my phone and saw the caller ID through my half open eyes.

"Monster❤️" it read.

I picked up the call and before I could say anything or scold her , I heard the voice of Chetna.

"Hey babes !!!! Good morning !!" She said chirpily.

"How is this morning supposed to be good , if you disturb me when me and my boyfriend are busy in something ?" I shouted at her .

"Listen bitch , I know you were sleeping and you don't have to exaggerate . Now shut up and listen to me."  Said the monster herself , my best friend.

"What ??"

"You know what ?" She screamed excitedly.

"I can only know when you tell me. "

"Fahad texted me !!!!!"

"Should I dance ? Or do you want me to go to his house and request him to marry you ?"

"Babe can you be a little bit more polite ?" She said annoyed.

"Ohh I surely can miss. So Miss Chetna Pandey , what do you want your best friend to do now ? Do Bhangra for you or go to your forever crush's house and be a cupid for your relationship ? Always at your service mam. " I said sarcastically.

"This wasn't funny ! Wait am coming to your house. And I will also bring Varun , Kabir and Riya with me. Then I will see how you gonna sleep !" She said challenging me.

"Ahh no !! Am sorry. I really am.  Please lemme sleep. " I requested.

"No!" She said .

"Please?"

"No."

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeee ? I will help you with Fahad ."

"Fine ! Sleep as much as you can for the next 2 hours , then I will go myself and wake you up ."

"Thank you. I love you ."

"Now don't behave like a lesbo. Sleep !!!"

And then she hung up. My sweet little best friend !

We are a gang in school. Kabir , Riya and Varun are my best friends too.

Then without thinking anything I covered myself entirely with the bedsheets and slept peacefully .

"Dude you gonna wake up or not ?" I heard someone shouting.
Probably my monster best friends are here.

I slowly pulled down the sheets to see all of them looking at me.

"5 more mins !" I requested.

"Varun , Kabir go and wake her up !" Said Riya .

"Noooo ...." I shouted but there was no one to listen to me .

Kabir and Varun pulled down the sheets and made me sit.

"Fine fine am up !!!"

"Go and brush !" Kabir said.

I rushed to the washroom.
I wish I could have been a millionaire. Then there would have been no harm in sleeping in my washroom where no one could disturb me .

I finished my work and came out.

"So whassup ?"

"We will watch movies , then play some games and then go to the mall." Chetna said excited.

"Seriously dude ? I would have been much happier if I could just slid inside the bedsheets and read books on Wattpad. " I said

"Don't dare to open Wattpad today ! Dont even dare !!!" Varun warned me .

They all knew how addicted I was to Wattpad.

How can I stay one whole day without my Watty ? 24 hours? 1440 minutes ? 86400 seconds ?
How ?????

"Now don't make that puppy face , come let's watch a movie " Varun said , pulling me into a hug.

Then we started watching my favourite movie , " Mein Tera Hero" by Varun Dhawan , my favourite actor.

After 3 hours , Chetna went to washroom abd Kabir went to bring some food from downstairs. Me and Riya were sitting and Varun got a call from his girlfriend Simran.

I knew this was the right time to check Wattpad.

I brought my phone and opened Wattpad.

I was scrolling through my feed when I saw one of my online friends had followed a guy.

I opened that guys account and checked out his username and bio.

"Liam__Carlson" it read .

I read his bio it was so deep .

"Live in the happy moments . Never remember the days , remember the happy moments "

Wow dude ! This person seems interesting. I immediately hit the follow button.

He followed me back immediately.

I texted him.

"Hey ! Thanks for the follow ! Hope you can check out my books ! Good day !"

"Hey there ! I will surely try to check them out someday !"

"Btw can we become friends ?"

It's obvious dude ! I love making friends !

"Aye ! Sure ! My name is Liam !"

"Nice name ! Myself Divya !"

"And how do you pronounce it ?"

"It's "dee-v-yaa" !! "

"Ohh that's fine ! Is it you in the profile pic ?"

"Yes."

"You are really cute ! XD "

"Haha thanks dude ! Nice to talk to you. "

"Same here Milady ! "

"Milady ? What does that mean ?"

"Ask your Google ! "

"Wait lemme check !"

And then I surfed Google to check out its meaning. 

*Respected lady* it read !
Aww this guy is so sweet !

" It means 'respected lady' . Isn't it ?"

"Haha yes ! "

"Then even I should give you a name !"

"Sure . "

"Fine . Wait.  What should I call you ?"

"Anything you want ...."

"Okay it's Amigo ! Fine ?"

"Yup !"

"Ttyl Amigo !"

"Ttyl Milady!"

And then I was smiling like a mad because of this weird conversation with this weird guy.

He was so sweet .

Then when I looked up from my phone , I could see some people surrounding me and looking at me angrily.

Obviously they are non other than my lovely monsters , my best friends.

"We said you not to use Wattpad !" Chetna said.

"You all went out and and half of you were talking to your girlfriends and boyfriends. What was I supposed to do ? Sit looking at the roof or talk to the walls ?"

"Fine ! Now you don't have to do either." Saying this Varun snatched away my phone and shoved it inside his pocket.

Arghhhh these guys ! I wonder how I love these monsters so much !

And now this guy , what was his name .... Umm yes Liam ! He sounds fun. It will be nice talking to him .
