Chapter Two: Lead

"Kyaa! Yumi-chaaan! Hahaha!"

"Daisy, not too loud, okay dear? Daddy's trying to work."

"O-kay Daddy."

I sighed. I looked at the stock of papers in front of me and adjusted my reading glasses. After Sakura was kidnapped, I was left with the throne to rule the Fire Country. Daisy is playing inside my office with Yumi and her kittens.

It's hard to do the Hokage's work and be a father to our baby girl at the same time.

Oh, Sakura.. How can I live without you?

*knock*knock!

"Come in!"

Soon enough, the door opened and revealed none other than Ino Yamanaka with a serious expression on her face. I assume this is important. She barely gets serious about things, unless--

"Sasuke, we have a lead to where she is."

My eyes widen the same time my hopes lit up. "Where?!"

"Calm down. Let's talk about this outside. Shika's waiting for us in the interrogation area."

I simply nodded and left the room with Daisy dressing Yumi's kittens in mini-kimonos. Where on earth did she got those things anyway?

"Shikamaru just came home and said that they held a rebel captive. Its proven that he has the information we need to locate Princess' location." Ino continued as we walked passed the grand hallways. A rebel?

"What did he say?"

"I don't know. Its best if you ask Shika that."

Sakura..

We then passed by the maids' bedrooms. I was about to ask her some more questions when a certain conversation unintentionally reached my ears.

"Its Sir Sasuke.. Do you think that he has something to do about Queen Sakura's disappearance?"

"I think he has. Look, ever since the queen was kidnapped, he took the task of ruling the whole country."

"So, you mean.."

"Yeah. I bet he's the one behind the kidnapping incident and that he only wants the Hokage power!"

I took in a deep breathe. Trying to control myself.

"...what a useless husband. He really is a criminal."

"..marrying him, is Queen Sakura's greatest mistake."

Snap!

"Aaahhhh!!"

"SHUT UP!!"

"Sasuke!"

Ino tried to pry my hands off the maid's neck. I felt myself boiling at what she said.

"What right do you have to judge me?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"S-Sir! P-p*cough* please.."

"Sasuke, that's enough! What do you think my bestfriend would say if she saw in like this?!"

I then calmed myself down.

She's right.

Sakura would probably yell at me right now. I let her go and continued to the interrogation area. I need to find my wife.

When we got there, I saw Shikamaru standing in front of a blooded man. I smirked.

"You sure know how to torture someone."

"Troublesome. He pissed me off.."

"What did he say?"

He then turned to me with a depressed face.

"Yeah, they lost Princess during their operation in the Hidden Mist a year ago.. She's alive. But they don't know where she is."

What the heck?!
