After the heart breaking incident, Svetlana dragged Omkara into her cabin and sat there along with him much to fill in the gossip required for the other staff and teachers.

"See... she took that handsome into her room... what might be happening there" giggled Ridhima.

"Hum tum... ek kamre mein band hoo...." Laughed Ishana at her own joke.

"Omkara is shy right.... May be she is teaching him some much required 'stuff' what say" giggled another.

"Do you people have any shame left?" scolded an elderly or rather a mature staff member named Mithali.

"Mithali mam... you are too innocent... you don't know women like Svetlana"

"And you do? What do you know about her?"

"We know that her husband left her and she joined the school on Omkara's recommendation.... Obviously, she must be returning some favors right"

Mithali sighed in irritation "I can't believe you can stoop so low... is this the way you talk about a colleague...a lady at that.... Svetlana is more than qualified for the job... Omkara just helped her in getting an appointment earlier..."

When the women merely rolled their eyes in disinterest she added "For your information.... Svetlana left her husband because he cheated on her...not the other way round... she is an independent woman who stood for her self-respect... we should encourage her not pull her down with these venomous comments. Can't a man and woman have friendship as the bond between them to help each other? Or are you too experienced in your personal lifes ...Should we discuss what all your husbands do behind your back?"

At the threat, her colleagues hung their heads in shame and Mithali continued "Just because she got a promotion earlier than us doesn't mean she went the wrong way to achieve it. She worked hard for two years and also is most loved by her students. She deserves what she has today. If she is ahead of you it is because you are lazy... now stop the gossip and get back to work"

Svetlana held her head in her hand and uttered tiredly "Omkara... my head is reeling... can you please stop marching from one side of the room to the other?"

Omkara stopped and looked at her with the same melancholic look he had an hour back.

Svetlana sighed heavily... "This is the limit... Sahil is a kid... a naughty one at that... you don't need to look like your entire world collapsed only because he was close to Gauri"

"Kid?? Madam... does he act like one? and I tolerated him being close to my Gauri...but today he k...k..." he said close to tears unable to complete the sentence and Svetlana gave him a disbelieving look.

"He kissed" she started.

"Shhh... no... don't say it... Meine use chua tak nahi ...aur vo bigda hua bacha use...(I hardly even touched her and this spoilt kid has) ...." he shook his head warding off the image.

"Seriously now?? Are you kidding me?... he is a kid as you said... now leave it and cheer up will you Omkara?"

"Kya dushmani hai use mujhse madam... jab dekho chipka hua rehta hai...(What enmity does he have with me madam... he sticks to her like glue every time I come to see her)"

"Okay enough... You anyways are not going to do anything except sitting here and sulk...I am going to Gauri and telling her that you love her... the rest is in her hands" she said getting up while Omkara ran after her pleading a no.

"Madam no... please.. I will tell her tomorrow... I promise"

"No... I heard this promise many times... you are so disturbed when a kid kissed her... what if someone actually proposed her and marries her? I don't even want to think what you would go through..." she said shaking her head. "No Omkara... she needs to know"

"Madam I will propose her ...please don't go to her now"

Svetlana determinedly walked out of the room not believing him.

"Madam... please... I will ask her tomorrow..." he said walking behind her but she continued to walk forward.

"Rudy ke kasam" he shouted pinching his throat as promise and that made her stop.

"I promise... kal pucca... you know I can't break my promise now" he said and she sighed.

If Omkara loves anyone more than Gauri, it is his little brother and if he took his name in a promise then he will surely keep his word.

"Tomorrow evening is your deadline Omkara... if you don't..." she started and he shook his head in a no.

"Rudy is coming for a brief vacation today... I will tell him about Gauri and then tomorrow I will ask for her hand" he explained.

"Good... now stop sulking and come with me... I will introduce you to her... no problem in that right" she said and taking his hand, she walked to the play area where the kids must have took Gauri to show her their new cricket court that was set up two weeks back.

"Gauri ... that's not the way you hold the bat" said Sahil taking the bat from her and showed her the right way while Roshni and Kamala played tennikoit nearby. The rest of the children were involved in other playful activities.

"Ohh... so this is what happens at school? Leaving studies kids play all day" said a loud voice in sarcasm making them turn in the direction.

Gauri cursed under her breath looking at the tall man who ogled at her.

"Vijay Thakur... why are you here?" she said in irritation.

"I can lie and say I came for you my darling.... But no.. there is a more pressing matter at hand" he said looking around.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Svetlana madam ji... where is she? I need to talk to her" he said and he was answered by the subject of interest.

"Yes... I am Svetlana... what work do you have with me" said Svetlana coming to them with Omkara behind her.

Vijay gave her a once over from head to toe with a smirk and said "I think.. one can find all the village beauties in your school... isn't it"

He looked at Gauri and continued in the same sultry voice "What say Gauri... my love"

Omkara fisted his hand in anger and moved forward but Svetlana held him back.

"Come to the point... why are you here again Thakur saab"

"Yeah... yeah... work first" he said, "Are you the working Principal here?"

Svetlana nodded her head "Yes... Mr. Khurana is in personal leave for a month and I am the acting Principal till then... what is it that you want to talk with me?"

"Well.... Since these kids are more into play and time pass, not interested in studies, it will not matter anyways... I came here to inform you that the school will be closed from tomorrow and we will be building a movie theater here... in its place"

"What?? And who are you to say that" said Svetlana angry at the information.

"I am the owner of the land madam ji... you cannot deny me..." he said smirking as he handed her a set of the documents.

Svetlana read through the legal papers while the rest waited in anticipation. "How... how is this possible... your grandfather was the trustee to this school... you cannot change this into a commercial complex Thakur saab... this place is no less than a temple"

"My grandfather gave this land to the school trust years ago when I wasn't even born... now that I know how gold fetching this place is, I cannot let go of the opportunity madam ji.... Unless I get an equally alluring compensation" he said giving a nasty look to Gauri.

"Badtameez Chirotaa... what are you implying?" said Gauri walking towards him, a bat in hand.

Vijay Thakur laughed out aloud "My darling.... I just can't get enough of you... will you be the dominating partner always? I can't wait to see"

His sentence was left incomplete when a punch landed on his face and he stumbled back shocked at the blow. He looked to the side to see his attacker but was punched a second time.

"How dare you... you touched the Thakur of the village?" he roared at Omkara. "What are you waiting for..." he yelled to his men who hurried and surrounded their master's offender.

"Hit him hard enough that he begs for mercy" he ordered them which they wordlessly followed.

Omkara tried to dodge the moves but he was outnumbered. One of the men hit him with a truncheon and he fell to the ground with a grunt. The man tried to hit him again but Omkara held the instrument and snatched it from him.

Getting up he used the weapon to counterattack the men and was successful in rendering a few of them unconscious. Looking at his fellow mates failing, one of the men took out a knife and moved towards Omkara with an intent to stab him.

Svetlana who saw the knife worriedly called out "Omkara... watch out"

Omkara turned around and the man plunged his knife to his abdomen. Just when it was inches away, a strong hand stopped the man holding the knife.

"Tera itna aukaat hai ki tu mere bhai ko maarega (You dare to stab my brother)" said Rudra before he snatched the knife out of his hands and kicked him in his stomach making the man howl in pain.

The kids cheered in the background... for their wicked bhaiyya. Sahil let out a loud whistle and yelled "Lo aa gaye humare Rudy bhaiyya... ab jeetke dikhao... kamino....( Our Rudy bhaiyya has come... let us see who wins now...)"

In no time the brothers won the fight taking down the men one after the other. Vijay Thakur understood the situation was out of his hands and he shouted to save his grace "Don't soar high with your measly victory... I will be back by tomorrow with official orders to vacate this place... Let me see who comes in my way to stop me from getting what is mine"

"Oye... Bade khandan ka bigda hua bacha.... Ye mere muscles dekh rahe hoo.. (Spoit kid of a rich ancestry... you see these muscles)" said Rudra Shetty flexing his biceps.

"I haven't made them only for you to see... the next time I catch you here... you will get a taste of Rudy's famous punch for sure" he said while Omkara angrily glared at Vijay.

Giving a last look to Gauri... Vijay Thakur left the place scolding his men for being a useless lot.

Omkara hugged his brother and Rudra reciprocated it smiling. "Who told you to come here... what if something happens to you" scolded Omkara parting from the hug and checking his brother for any external injuries.

"And what if something happens to you" countered Rudra "Bhaiyya... I am okay... stop fussing over me" he smiled at him. "I arrived earlier than the usual time...our house is locked... I came here to find you"

Svetlana and Gauri along with the children walked towards the brothers smiling. "Yaaay... Rudy bhaiyya... kya khidkitood punch tha... mazaa agaya" said Sahil.

"Haa...It felt like I was watching a movie" said Kamala still reeling from the action sequence.

"Now that you came... teach us some nice moves so that we can help you in the fight tomorrow" said Roshni in excitement.

"Kids... enough... go to your homes now... enough drama for the day" said Svetlana.

"But... we just met Rudy bhaiyya" they all chorused.

"Rudra will come tomorrow too... now go.. it is already late" ordered Svetlana and they hung their heads low.

"Bachhoo... come early tomorrow I will teach you some fantastic moves... what say" said Rudra and they cheered again. Promising to come back early the kids ran back to the class to pick up their bags and left for their homes.

The brothers along with Svetlana and Gauri sat in the Principal cabin thinking of a way to overcome the new trouble. Omkara was going through the documents again while Rudra stole side glances at the beautiful woman in the room.

Svetlana saw Rudra looking at Gauri and spoke with a frown "Rudra... she is Gauri" as if that should stop him from ogling at her.

"Of course... who doesn't know the prettiest girl of our village" he said making Omkara raise his head from the papers.

"I must say Vijay Thakur cannot be blamed... after all who will not fall for you... Ms. Bewitching" he said with a wink making her blush.

"Stop it now... let us focus on the issue at hand" said Svetlana in an irritated tone... not liking Rudra's flirting nor Gauri's blush. She knew Gauri wasn't the one to blush if she didn't like the man who passed the comment.

"Simple Svetlana di... we just need to get hold of the papers from him... he wouldn't have a proof to legally claim the land" said Gauri.

"My goodness.... Beauty with brain... a lethal cocktail... I must say" said Rudra and Gauri gave him a sweet smile.

Omkara felt a pinch in his heart at the way his love smiled at his brother but shook the feeling off trying to think of the problem at hand.

"But how do we get the papers?"

"That is even more simple... we have to break into the Thakur haveli and get the papers here" she completed making Omkara and Svetlana look at her in horror.

"Simple?.... they have a hundred men stationed for security and if you get caught... that is the end of it Gauri... that is too dangerous"

"But di... we don't have a choice here" she stated and Svetlana didn't have anything to contradict her.

"But... I can't be putting you in danger Gauri"

"Don't worry di...I know all the routes to the place...I just need to enter...take the papers and come here without their men noticing us. I will manage"

"You are not going alone... I will come with you" announced Rudra and Svetlana panicked.

"No... Omkara will go with her" she said louder than intended.

"What? Why? We make a good team" argued Rudra.

"You just came after a tiring journey..... you can error and then unnecessarily alert them or bring trouble... better you take rest... let Omkara go with her.." she explained.

Rudra again opened his mouth but Svetlana strictly said "Rudra... Gauri will either go with Omkara or the plan is off... decide for yourself"

"Fine" Rudra grumbled "... bhaiyya you go with her but please be careful" he said turning to his brother who smiled at him and nodded.

"Okay... so its decided then... Omkara and Gauri will go to the Haveli tonight" said Svetlana smiling at Omkara and he returned the smile.

"Come... I will show you the map of that haveli...you can plan your entry and exit... it is in the school museum" she said moving out and Omkara followed her.

They just exited the room and Gauri began to walk in their direction when Rudra held her hand, pulling her back. He closed her mouth shushing her and gently closed the door.

Gauri removed his hand from her mouth "Rudy... kya hai ye... koi dekh lega(someone might see)" she whisper yelled and only got a smile in return.
