" Just because I asked your help.. doesn't mean you take advantage of the situation.... I thought you cannot stoop to such level" said Gauri... "Not only i dislike you... I am beginning to despise you now... get the hell out of here"

When she just got a calm smile and a raise of eyebrow from the person towards whom she directed her sharp tongue,  she sighed in irritation before pushing him away and walking towards the door.

His hand held hers in a tight grip stopping her from escaping again

"Omkara.... leave my hand... now" warned Gauri though her heart rebuked her.

"Until when?" He asked in the same calm tone he reserved for her.

She looked away from those eyes which seemed to look right through her soul feeling extremely exposed.

"I am asking you until when are you thinking of keeping up this mask.... a whorl of thorns around you... a wall of defiance for protecting your heart" he said pulling her to him.

As she struggled fruitlessly, he lifted her chin to make her look at him.

"Gauri Trivedi.... if you are expecting me to back off with this lame act of yours then let me tell you one thing... I. AM.NOT.LEAVING.YOU... not now... not ever... you lost your chance of escape the moment you came barging into my life for the second time and working your way into my heart without my permission. Did you get that??"

"What cliche nonsense...."

Her sentence broke with him pushing her against the wall and stealing her breath with a punishing kiss.

Once she got the taste of him, her body refused to listen to her brain giving in to the desire, making her clutch his shirt collar pulling him closer to her. As he explored the contours of her mouth competing with her, she played along, enjoying the game. A tear escaped her eye accepting her defeat and he gladly sucked it off her cheek giving her a cocky smile before he kissed her again.
