(Y'all- the plot just thickened and I might be combining Disney movies or just adding my own stuff. Yeah so I added my own stuff. It ain't good, can't skip it tho, it's important-)

When the royal family arrived back home, the two males helped the women oust of the carriage. Reiko tried to make it obvious she didn't want the help, but Shinya still helped her. She stuck her tongue out at him before running inside the palace. Shinya helped take out the trunks with a few servants and his mother. His mother was old, old enough to have a head of grey hairs. She should not have been lifting such a heavy chest.

"Are you alright?" Shinya asked, looking down at his mom who was not much taller than his waist. She just dragged her chest inside, Shinya laughing a bit. She really expected to get up several flights of marble stairs with that?

A helper picked up the trunk for the queen while she looked a bit angry. Chiyo followed him screaming. Shinya helped carry his own stuff in with the help of his friend, Keigo. Keigo was a valet.

Keigo and Shinya talked while they brought his belongings upstairs. They had been friends since the death of Keigo's wife. She had died a year ago, when Keigo was twenty one and she was twenty five. Shinya attended her funeral and was by his side the entire time.

(Oh shit- OH I GOT AN IDEA.)

"So, how was the trip?"

"I- I was attending a funeral, what the fu-"

"Oh shit, sorry for your loss."

They stayed a bit quiet after that. Keigo started up the next conversation though.

"So... when was the last time you went into town?" Keigo wiggled his eyebrows. He kicked the door open, walking into Shinya's room. It was pretty big but there wasn't a lot to it. A chair, bed, couch, and a library.

They put the chest down and left. Shinya had yet to answer Keigo's question. Not because he didn't hear it or something, but because he had to think. It had been quite some time since he went out without his sister, parents, or anyone like that.

"I don't remember." He laughed a bit. He rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh my god!" Keigo gasped, his hands on his cheeks. "You've been missing out! The food is amazing!" Shinya kinda expected him to say something about the women, and kinda expected him to say something about food at the same time. Turns out Keigo was hungry.

"The kitchen is open?" Shinya said, trying to make excuses not to go outside the gates of his home.

"Nope, I've decided. You're coming with me to this bakery, no choice." Keigo talked to him like this a lot. Shinya didn't mind being talked to like a normal person so he never reprimanded Keigo.

"Um... I'll get changed and we can go out." Hawks knew every good place in the kingdom, well obviously, his late wife's job took her around the entire kingdom so it wasn't surprising.

(Let's play pretend because Google wont behave. No bodyguards :). )

Shinya was fast to change into a different outfit. A loose top, vest, and pants. (Y'all I'm not good at descriptions, just what Lin Manuel Miranda wears in the second half of Hamilton, minus the green coat.) He tied his hair into a ponytail and met Keigo outside.

"So this place is called The Big Three Bakery, but theres only two of them now."

"Oh damn. What happened to the other?"

"She died on Tuesday, everyone's brought them flowers and stuff like that." Hawks said. It was Thursday. Shinya's eyes drifted to the ground. He was surprised. Two people died in the same week? Fuyumi, then the Baker girl.

"May I ask how she died? Or is that personal?" Shinya politely asked.

"I think she drowned. That or she got stuck in a fire. That's just gossip though. I'm pretty sure Mirio and Tamaki said she passed in her sleep."

Oh. That was sad. He had heard of a fire recently but it was a week ago.

"How old was she?"

"Eighteen. A shame that she died so young." It wasn't surprising, most people didn't make past twenty. Some got half as many (I'm sorry-).

"Did you know her?"

"Oh? Yeah, Rumi was friends with all three of them. They made most of the desserts for the wedding and her funeral." Oh. Shinya hadn't gone to the wedding as he didn't know a Rumi or Keigo at all, but he went to the funeral. The cakes were amazing but he wasn't in a very good mood.

"That's a shame."

"Mhm. Let's get going."

They left the palace and walked into the town. As if he were sheltered since he was a child, no one recognized Shinya. Even if they did, they probably wouldn't go crazy over him. Perhaps some people would, but not everyone.

When they walked towards the bakery with the stuffed animals, they were greeted by a girl with blonde hair and yellow eyes. Well not exactly greeted. She bumped into him and fell to the ground.

"I am so sorry." He turned red when he saw her on the ground. He was embarrassed. He noticed the amount of things she dropped. He handed the stuffed animal to Keigo and helped her out.

"Thank you." She whispered, stuffing the belongings back in her apron. "Sorry, the place is closed. Togata and Amajiki are helping her family arrange the funeral."

"I'm sorry for your loss." It seemed weird to say. She obviously seemed stunned by it as well.

"I- it's ok."

"Again, sorry. What's all this for Miss..." he didn't know her name. He was picking up things like cheese, sewing needles, thread, and other weird items.

"It's not important what they call me. What's your name, I owe you a thank you."

"Shinya."

"Thank you Mr.Shinya." She gave a small smile. Her smile was gorgeous. "Do you know Nejire?"

"I don't believe I do. Was she close to you?"

"Very. We were close. I just found out she had passed today and ran here as fast as I could." She explained. "I couldn't believe what they were telling me." He stood up first and reached a hand out to help her up.

"Again, I am very sorry for your loss. She must've been a very sweet girl."

"Sweetest thing on earth." She choked up on her words, her cheeks puffing up, and her eyes becoming glossy. He didn't touch her because he had just met her, but he did ask if she was alright, which she responded with "I have to go." And just ran off.

Keigo wasn't holding the two stuffed bears anymore, walking up to Shinya.

"Oh it's her?" Keigo asked.

"You know her?"

"Pffft no- She just comes to the market twice a week and sometimes I see her, sometimes I don't."

"Oh. I asked for her name and she didn't give it. Now that I hear that, I sound creepy, never mind." He thought about it. He must've made her uncomfortable.

"Wowwww. Wanna head back? I kinda wanted to get something for the brat but the place is closed." "Brat" was Reiko.

"Sure."

(Ok, so Nejire died. It's important to the story. I don't like this chapter that much. Y'all probably don't either, next chapter will be better if anything.)
