Heaven

(I swear on Dabi, Portia from Charm School is stoned af and I act like her sometimes. I never watched Charm school or I only did it once when I was six or sm and I think I cried or got really nervous because of it. I dont remember it. Oh and this chapter isn't that important. Just discusses Ryuko's belief and ya know, her desire for happiness.)

Chitose didn't return to the attic. Ryuko had prayed for it for hours. She just wanted to run. She didn't know how she would convince the guards or anyone with authority over her to let her in and try the shoe on. She would just have to beg.

Ryuko was so glad that she didn't come back. She was nervous to hear the sound of Chitose's heels. Her anxiety was through the roof, thinking of all possibilities that could happen. Mainly her second option. Being cursed.

Chitose luckily had locked the door. It would only take four minutes to get out of the house after she got out. Catsuki would be asleep by then, Himiko would be doing something, Jin would be sleeping, and Chitose... again, Ryuko didn't know what she did at night.

She started humming to herself to calm down a bit more. She was getting too confident. If she ran away and they didn't let her in, she's more than dead. Obviously someone with power didn't want her as queen and was working with Chitose.

She would have to get her story straight. She wanted to try on the shoe, she wasn't able to that morning, etc. She could stay at Yuu's home because it was efficient and she was friends with the owners of their little grocery store. If she needed to sleep, she'd do it.

Chitose's heels clicking started again. Ryuko started breathing heavily, hoping she had forgotten out of her anger. Ryuko thought of places she could hid when she came in. Under the bed would be too obvious, she could always climb out of her window and just sit on the roof until it was safe to climb back into her room.

Oh the heels weren't around anymore.

She was alright. For now at least.

--------

Ten.

Ryuko had gotten lucky. She assumed Rumi was doing something but if anything Chitose had just gotten pissed or was old and didn't want to walk up the stairs.

Ryuko could see the stars through her window. She couldn't see Nejire or Rumi's stars. It had been so long since she first reunited with Nejire and met Rumi. It was sad that the only way they could talk to one another was through stars. Rumi seemed nice

But anyways, it was about time she got out of hell. She didn't know how she would react if she wasn't allowed to see the prince. Probably go stay with her married friends, Emi and Taishiro. Well, Taishiro was kind of a relative so... That, or stay with Yuu.

But, it was time to go. She had a small bag. Clothes and food for Ochako and her animal friends. She needed to get down the stairs and out of the house. She took her shoes off to avoid making too much noise.

She opened the door to the attic and climbed down the ladder. She was nervous about pulling this off. Pure luck had kept her safe that day...

The marble floors were freezing. The sun wasn't glaring down on them, making them scorching since it was nighttime. A shiver shot up her spine and it didn't feel very good.

She descended down multiple staircases. She was making sure she didn't walk too hard and walked quietly. Fast steps on her toes instead of her entire foot. She would be out soon if she kept quiet.

The second staircase she had climbed down.

The third staircase she had climbed down.

The fourth staircase she had climbed down.

Shit-

She tripped over her own feet. She felt dumb and almost made a large amount of noise. She luckily grabbed onto the railing. Ryuko made sure to hold onto it the rest of the day. Now she was going to try and run through her house in the pitch black. The candles were all out because she wasn't cleaning. She couldn't see a thing.

Well, a bit. The only reason she could see was because of the moon. It's glare was just, in the house. It was awfully funny because of her beliefs but... whatever. She believed that was a person as well, as if it were a stalker. Funny right?

Yeah it sent shivers up Ryuko's spine again, just thinking of the moon spirit stalking her.

(Yue, I miss her-)

She got to the last floor and took a deep breath as she reached for the doorknob. Maybe she should slam the door, just so she made it clear she wasn't coming back. The doorknob was silver. She could see her reflection in the knob...

She opened the door, and sighed.

She was out of the goddamn house.

She was running away.

She never felt more proud of herself.

-------

Ryuko had been walking for so long. She didn't know where she was going because it was so dark. The stars looked gorgeous though. That was fun. She was doing this to get what she deserved. Happiness. Escape hell and go back to Heaven. She deserved it. She knew it. Chitose didn't even know why she hated her, she just despised her.

Ryuko had already put her shoes back on. She wasn't going by horse. She couldn't steal Kurogiri, that'd just be odd. She'd be stealing the horse permanently...

She was looking at the stars now. Two stars kept moving. It was so funny, she knew it was her little friends in the skies. Heaven. Ryuko began following them. The pink and blue star. Always close to one another, each and every night they were next to one another.

She was on her way to heaven.
