All eyes turned to Jordyn, who had an angry look on her face.
"M- MOTHER!?"
"Hello, sweetie!" Jordyn slowly walked over to the table, a wild look in her eyes. "I knew I never should've let you work here..."
"She's not going home with you." Adversity stated as he guarded Storm.
"Oh?" Jordyn chuckled.
"Jordyn, she doesn't want to go with-"
"Don't answer for her." She pulled her daughter out from behind Adversity. "We're going home."
"NO!" Nightmare gently pulled Storm away from Jordyn, holding onto her. "You're not taking my new friend...!"
"... I'm sorry?"
"Don't touch her, she doesn't want to leave!"
"But she does! Right?"
"I-"
"Exactly!" Jordyn pulled her back and looked at everyone else in the room. "I'll see you all in hell." With that, Jordyn walked away, dragging Storm behind her, until Lucas pulled her back.
"Mother, stop! I don't wanna go back...!"
"Don't lie to me. You don't fit in here! Besides, it's not like anyone here actually likes you! Who could ever care about someone like you besides me!?"
"We all like her...!" Lucas pulled Storm back into the dining room and looked at Adversity, who looked at Jordyn.
"Jordyn, you need to leave, or I will have you arrested for trespassing." He growled out in malice.
"I'm not leaving without my daughter. Besides, she needs me!"
"Yes, you are, and no, she doesn't." Hildegard dragged Jordyn out of the castle and slammed the door in her face before alerting the guards. She then went back to the dining room and looked at everyone else in the room.
"Storm... Are you okay...?" Nightmare asked in concern.
"N- No..."
"Has she always told you shit like that?"
"... Yeah... But who's to say she's wrong...? I probably shouldn't have come here..."
"Storm...! Don't say that...! She's trying to make you feel like shit...!" Adversity was stunned. How could Jordyn treat her like this...!? "We care about you, I promise...! We just want to make sure you're okay..."
"I'll be fine... I think..." Storm wiped away the tears that were forming in her eyes with a smile on her face. "It just hurts."
"What does?"
"Everything mother just said. But I'll be okay. I just need some sleep." Storm walked off, and Lucas looked at everyone else in the dining room.
"She's... Not okay, is she...?"
"I don't think so..." Hildegard admitted. "But let's not push her."
"Alright, we just need to make the final preparations for your coronation and the surprise for her birthday."
"Then let's get to it." With that, everyone was careful to keep down the noise as they didn't wanna wake Storm up or ruin the surprise. They wanted to do something special for her in order to make her feel special and welcome, as well as remove her mother's bad influence on her, so as an early birthday gift, they came up with a plan to get rid of Jordyn, hopefully for good.
AHHHHH SORRY IT'S SO SHORT, I HAD WRITER'S BLOCK AND I'M STILL TRYING TO GET OVER IT!
