Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a kingdom experienced a very slow internet connection. Their once lightning fast speed became sluggish like a depressed duck in a pond. Everyone was so upset. Their Facebook , their Twitter , neither their Instagram simply would not load properly.

Everyone was on the verge of throwing their smartphones against the wall. All thanks to its pricey value, of course most were not fortunate enough to afford new ones; they somehow restrained themselves for the possible massacre of phones.

Not until the beautiful princess of the kingdom finally stood up. She had enough of all the 404 Not Found, so she called her advisers.

Beautiful Princess: You all might be aware why I called you here. Our internet connection is too slow. Reports say that there are no problems  with our resources. What do you have in mind?

Adviser Makulit: Your Majesty, this might be another attack from our little friend Download.

Adviser Mausisa: I disagree Your Majesty. According to my reliable source, the neighboring kingdom isn't experiencing this epidemic. If this has something to do with Download, then they too will have the same fate as ours.

Advisor Maunawain: You are right Adviser Mausisa, they should experience slow connections as we did.

Beautiful Princess: This needs an immediate action. We should call someone to investigate.

Advisor Maalam: I would like to recommend Mang Jose to do the job Your Majesty. He is quite impressive.

Beautiful Princess: I haven't heard of that name before, is he from our kingdom?

Advisor Maalam: No Your Majesty, he is from another kingdom. He does small jobs for me once in a while.

Beautiful Princess: And what small jobs?

Adviser Maalam: Ehem... *whispers the small jobs to her majesty*

Beautiful Princess: I see. Alright, it's decided then. We will be hiring Mang Jose to investigate this loathsome epidemic. Adviser Makulit, have our runner send a message to Mang Jose immediately. I want to meet him tomorrow morning.

Advisor Makulit: Right away, Your Majesty.

And so, Mang Jose was called to investigate the unknown phenomena of the land. He received $100 a day, with free board and lodging. After three days of meticulous investigation, Mang Jose showed up in the castle.

Mang Jose: *bows* Your Majesty.

Beautiful Princess: Did you find something?

Mang Jose: Yes Your Majesty. One of the tubes was displaced by a clan of rodents who moved for a winter vacation weeks ago. They weren't familiar with the device so they didn't report the said incident. They never thought that it would cause so much trouble.

Beautiful Princess: Why haven't they approached me?

Mang Jose: They fear you Your Majesty. They fear that you might punish them of what happened. 

Beautiful Princess: That's understandable, but still....

Mang Jose: Never fear Your Majesty, this can be easily fixed. If you let me, it will be done in an instant.

Beautiful Princess: That's great! Fix it at once and I will pay you double.

Mang Jose: As you wish Your Majesty. *bows*

Mang Jose moved back the tube to its rightful place, then everything went back to normal. Facebook and all other apps became lightning fast again. The rodents were forgiven by the princess and they still had a wonderful winter vacation. And because Beautiful Princess was more than happy of Mang Jose's performance, she promoted him as the kingdom's investigator.

And so, everyone celebrated the great success. There was flipping and swiping of smartphones every corner of the kingdom. It was the happiest day ever.

The princess smiled and praised herself for a job well done. She sat on her throne, retrieved her phone from her lacy pocket and took a selfie. She was contented than ever, and lived happily ever after.

Sorry that's not our Beautiful Princess. That's Snow White and the witch.
