Hi, hellofriend1231p here. This story is about a girl that grows up with her step-father. He abuses her a lot. She attends a school in a small town where new students are rare. (Disclaimer: All of this story is made up. I wrote it and realized someone might think I myself have home issues. I have two loving parents that wouldn't try to hurt me.)

Future me here, I reposted this story with all the original A/N, so don't get too confused about past me talking about Christmas, for all I know. The chapter a wrote during that time might be but back up in July or something.

Emily's pov

I wake up, and rise from my bed. I go to my closet and find a nice t-shirt, some denim jeans, and my white vans. I change and start my morning routine. I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and comb my hair. I then cover any scraps or bruises along my body that you can see with my skin tone concealer and foundation. I head down the stairs and to the front door, where my sister is sleeping while standing. We head out the door and to my sisters porsche. My parents are rich but my father hates me so I don't have a car, I drive my sister's.

We arrive at the school a little earlier then normal. I walk into the school with my sis, Lily Evans. I head to my first hour, while she goes into the band room( I would have come with her but I hate the teacher in there). I go into the classroom and my teacher is there for once. He usually doesn't come as early as 7:30. 

I drop my bag where I sit. I walk out of the classroom and look down the hall to see my sis walking out of the band room.

I sigh in relief. After we meet we go to her classroom. Her teacher is there so she goes in and I wait in the hall. Lily comes out and we walk to the cafeteria for some breakfast. 

"They have cinnamon rolls!" my sis says excitedly.

 "Great." My voice thick with sarcasm.

As I scan the room I see my best friend, Ebony Smith, sitting with her annoying little brother, Nolan. I sit next to her and my sis sits next to Nolan. I sit down and start eating my cereal. 

"I heard there is a new guy coming to school today, and Tiffany already called dibs on him. She doesn't even know what he is like, yet she claims him anyways just in case." And I'm starting my day with the newest gossip from the gossip queen, my best friend. She mentioned the girl who despises me, Tiffany. She usually sits with Ebs until she psycho senses me from the front of the school. She hurries to leave after that.

"Hope he looks so ugly that not even Martha would go on a date with him." Martha is the nerd of the girls. If I didn't hang with the ebs I'd probably be with her.

The warning bell rings meaning I have 5 minutes to go to class. I hop up and I grab my homework that I left at Ebony's when we had a study/sleepover at her house.

I start towards my class when I bump into someone As I look up to apologize I see someone I have never seen around before.
