The last chapter ended weirdly so no recap.

Emily's pov

I let Seth lead the way to his car. (Above) It is a black Series 8 BMW. Also it has blue accent headlights. Seth unlocks it and hopes in, and I follow his lead. Once we are both buckled and ready to go, we head off. (A/N I want a car like that so bad.) We head to my home in a sorta comfortable silence.

"So, I'll talk to you tonight. If you make it." Seth says.

"Yeah, we will talk tonight."

I get out of the car, and start walking to my front door. I turn to grab the extra key from underneath a potted plant. I grab the handle so I could put the key in, but the door was already unlocked. I slowly enter the house, looking to see if my sister might have parked her car in the garage instead of the driveway.

"Huh, the whore finally got home. Whose car was that? Where is Lily?" my father asks me. I should have known he was home.

"Sir, that was a friend of mine's car, they offered me a ride home. Lily should be here any minutes unless she stopped somewhere on the way here."

My step-father comes over, he grabs his cigarette and puts it on the skin of my neck.

"You slut. One, no attitude with me do you understand. Two, why are you wearing this outfit, you know what happens if someone found out about this. You remember last time right?"

He grabs me and lays me on the couch roughly. He tears the back of the shirt, then continues to stick his cigarette all over my back living little circles of burning flesh everywhere.

10 years ago

"I don't think my daddy will mind if I have you over for a playdate." I tell Katie, she knows that daddy hurts me all the time when I'm home.

"You sure?"

"Yeah" I say as we walk into the house.

Daddy comes running out holding a very long looking knife. I step in front of Katie. She started to cry and ran out of the house, like she was told to???

"Sir, you scared my only friend at school."

"You little demon, you were trying to escape weren't you? Ha, well now I need to give you a punishment for that." He turns his gaze to the knife in his hand. He starts to cackle.

"Your punishment is to stay locked up in my room until I clear this mess up, so about 4 days. No food, No water."

I accepted the punishment knowing this was easy for what he thought I did.

He finally gets off of me. I run up to my room. Halfway through my punishment Lily came home. She understood my pleading gaze, she knows I'll tell her later. I also know if she interferes, step-father gets out the knives, especially since he is so drunk.

I get to the upstairs bathroom, and Lily is sitting in there, with her gaze out of focus.

"I'm sorry you had to see father punish me. He was upset I left you alone to drive by yourself."

She rushes over to me, knowing I can't stand to much longer. We walk over to my bed, and I lay down on my belly so she can help with my back. A little while later she leaves, and I fall to sleep.
