- 05 ; high queen

Coronation day finally arrived. Narnians waited patiently in the throne room where the future Kings and Queens of Narnia would be crowned. Robin paced in her room as she always did when nervous.

She glanced again in the mirror and sighed heavily. Unlike the Pevensies, whos outfits would be based mostly on blue, Robin's dress was a beautiful red with gold detailings, signaling in a way that she was more inportant then the Pevensies. And she was.

Her hair was beautifully brushed back from her face and her red dress was being dragged behind her as she paced. A knock on the door interrupted Robin and a muffled. "We're ready for you, Miss" came from behind the door.

Robin took a deep breath as smiled at herself in the mirror before opening the door and turning to the person who called her. Even Robin's maid and the guards at her door couldn't help but gasp at her beauty.

Robin smiled at her maid who gestured to follow her to the throne room. The Pevensies were already there, ready to be given their titles but everyone was waiting for Robin to make her entry.

Stopping before the door the led to the throne room, Robin took another deep breath before the doors were opened. She stepped forward, chin high and shoulders straight as gasps came from the crowd and the Pevensies. Robin smiled at the children before advancing forward and standing between Susan and Peter, at the biggest throne.

"Bring forth the crowns." Aslan calls out. With a smile, Mr Tumnus first walks up to Lucy and puts on her crown as Aslan says. "To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant." Aslan says then watches as Mr Tumnus places a crown on Edmund's head. "To the great western woods, I give you King Edmund the Just." Next, Mr Tumnus puts a crown on Susan's head. "To the radiant southern sun, I give you Queen Susan the Gentle" Next, Mr Tumnus placed a crown on Peter's head. "To the clear northern skies I give you High King Peter the Magnificent."

And finally, Tumnus walks up to Robin with a beautiful golden crown as Aslan recites. "And finally, I give you the Protector and Highest Queen of Narnia, Queen Robin the Brave. Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king and queen." Aslan finishes as he watches Robin with a proud smile.

"Long live Queen Robin! Long live King Peter! Long live King Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!" the narnians chant as the five children smile brightly.

Robin walks beside Aslan on the beach in the sunset. "Will I see you again, father?" she asks.

Aslan stops and looks at her. "Of course you will. And besides, I will always be a part of you." he assures.

Robin turns to him, tears brimming her eyes. "What if I can't do this without you? I am just a child, father. You are the true ruler of Narnia."

Aslan shakes his head. "Robin, you will be the greatest ruler Narnia has ever had. For as long as you may rule, I will always be with you." he assures as the two embrace one final time.

"Dad!" Robin calls and watches as Aslan turns to her. "I've been having dreams of a boy. A boy I've never met. And he calls himself King and says I'm his Queen and we dance and it looks like it's our...wedding. What does it mean?"

Aslan doesn't say anything but the knowing smile on his face says it all. He knows something. He shakes his head before he takes off and leaves Robin with no answer.

15 years later

Robin watched from her balcony as waves crashed on the shore. Her raven hair blew in the wind as the gentle breeze brushed her porcelain skin. She still looked 17, much to her dismay. Robin had to watch as the Pevensies grew older with time while she stayed immortal.

She sighed deeply, now regretting she didn't go with the siblings to catch a white stag. She traced the scales on her dragon egg who still hasn't hatched. It was dramatic like her, Robin presumed, waiting for the perfect moment to hatch.

Robin closed her eyes as images of a boy with brown shoulder length hair and gentle eyes seeped through her mind. She's been having less and less dreams of him lately and it saddened her. The dreams made her feel loved and special.

A sudden feeling rushed through Robin and tears gathered in her eyes. With being Protector of Narnia she knew who entered and who left Narnia.

And the Pevensie siblings just left Narnia.

And Robin's dragon egg just hatched.
