- 00 ; the lion

Harsh wind blew in the dense forest, no bird was heard or seen. All you could see were coats of snow covering the once green grass and beautiful trees. A dot of black was spotted by a majestic Lion who was was brave enough to go out in this bad weather.

The black was fainter and fainter until it too was covered by white. The Lion, Aslan fastened his pace, trying not to forget where the black once was. Once he arrived at the spot, the black cloak was almost completely covered by the freezing snow.

Carefully, Aslan brushed the snow aside and gasped at what he saw. Huddled in a black cloak, shivering and whimpering was a little girl. Her hair was raven black, even more black then the cloak she was wearing and her lips were already blue due to the weather.

In a moment of panic, Aslan let himself breathe gently on the child, making color return to her skin. He gave her a part of his soul. The color started returning to her lips and skin. Gently, Aslan took ahold of her cloak and threw her on his back as slow as possible. After he put her on his back, he glanced back down and saw a puddle of blood where the girl once stood. He looked towards the girl on his back, seeing a small knife sticking out of her abdomen. Aslan's eyes widened in shock.

With a fast pace, he returned back to camp where a couple centaurs and other narnians came outside too see what was wrong. Gasps were heard through the crowd as they caught sight of the child, but Aslan paid them no mind. He hurried to his tent and put her down on a warm and comfortable bed. After putting her down, Aslan called Oreius, his trusted friend and centaur, in order to get the knife out of the small child.

Oreius entered the tent after being called, and gasped at what he saw. "Dear Aslan." he muttered in disbelief.

"Oreius, please get the knife out of the child." Aslan spoke in a calm tone but a hint of panic was there.

Oreius nodded fast and approached the child. With careful and delicate hands, he retrieved the knife from her abdomen. Oreius turned to Aslan who nodded thankfully. Oreius nodded back and hastly left the tent.

Aslan once again, approached the girl and breathed on her in order for her wounds to heal. Relief flooded Aslan when she saw the girl take a deep breath then nuzzle into the comfy bed. Aslan allowed a gentle smile to spread on his face as he looked at the small child who couldn't be older then nine.

Hours later, a small groan was heard in Aslan's tent. Aslan looked up from the map on his table and peered at the little girl who was fluttering her eyes open. Her dark eyes opened fully and once she registered she wasn't in the forest fear quickly flooded them.

"Calm down." Aslan's gentle voice was heard through the tent. The girl turned to him and even more fear flooded her eyes as she looked at the hazel-eyed lion. The girl started to back up more in her bed as Aslan approached her in small steps. "I'm not going to hurt you, child."

"Who are you?" the girl tried to sound confident but anyone could hear the fear in her voice. She was terrified.

"My name is Aslan." the lion stated with gentle eyes.

The girl relaxed visibly and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Where had she heard that name before? "Aslan, as in the King of Narnia?" she asked, shy.

Aslan chuckled deeply as he nodded his head. "Yes, that Aslan." he paused as he took a deep breath. "Now, please tell me who you are."

"Shouldn't you know? Aren't you all-knowing or something?" the girl asked then covered her mouth in shock at what she said.

Aslan laughed at her response. "I'm afraid that I don't know everything."

The girl laughed, embarrassed. "Oh. Sorry. I, um, I'm Robin."

Aslan nodded with a gentle smile and warm eyes. "Beautiful name, Robin."

Robin nodded in thanks. "Where am I exactly?"

"I found you in the forest and brought you too my camp." Aslan informed.

Robin nodded her head. "Oh, oka-" she stopped abrupty as she put a hand on her abdomen. She felt around her abdomen mutliple times as Aslan watched her in slight amusement. "Um, werid question but I had a knife in my abdomen. Do you happen to know where it is?" Robin asked with a cheeky but confused smile on her face.

Aslan laughed wholeheartedly. "I healed you Robin."

"Oh." Robin muttered and nodded her head in understanding, even if she was still confused. "How though?"

Aslan shook his head with a smile. "Why don't you tell me how you got the wound first."

Robin's face fell as she heaved a big sigh and began explaining.

hours earlier

"You little brat, come back here!" Robin's mother, Lucinda screamed as she followed Robin outside. Tears stained Robin's porcelain skin as she fastened her pace. Lucinda harshly snatched her arm, making Robin cry in pain. Lucinda pointed the knife in her hand at Robin's abdomen in warning.

"Listen here, you brat!" Lucinda seethed. "You are not going anywhere. I am your mother and I tell you what to do. What? You think you can just leave when you want too? No!" Lucinda said, venom lacing her tone as she glared hatefully at her own child.

Robin whimpered in fear as she tried to pry her arm from her mother. Lucinda's eyes burned with fury and rage as she pulled her daughter back to her a little too hard. Robin gasped and her eyes widened as she felt the knife in her mother's hand enter her abdomen. Lucinda's own eyes widened as she glanced down at her daughters abdomen.

"No, no, no, no. Baby, I love you. Don't leave me like your father did. Come on baby, please I love you." Lucinda said in a sickly sweet voice. With all the strength Robin had, she pulled her arm back from her mother and managed to rip free of her grip. Robin tightened the black cloak around her as she took off running, putting pressure near where the knife was as her mothers screams died down. Robin would rather die then stay with her one more day.

With heavy steps and her eyes almost closing every minute, Robin trudged to the dense woods. Robin couldn't feel her feet anymore as she tried to stay awake longer. The weight of her cloak finally dragged her down as she fell in the snow and let darkness envelop her, not catching sight of the golden lion a few feet from her.

present

Aslan looked at Robin in shock as she finished telling what happened, sobs rocking her body. Aslan walked up to her and enveloped her in a hug, as good as a lion could hug. Robin hugged Aslan tighter as she appreciated the fatherly gesture. Nobody had ever hugged her.

Aslan pulled back and looked at Robin with a soft smile. "Now, let me tell you how special you truly are."

authors note
first chapter done! this is robins kinda back story. there is still much to tell about her father and why her mother became abusive but i thought it would be too much for this chapter. i don't usually like stories where the oc shares personal information with a person she just met, in this case aslan. i want her to acomodate first and not tell her whole life story to a complete stranger.

hope you liked the chapter!
