A few weeks ago

I messed up sending her to that god forsaken school, but she was just too much to handle and looked like her mother. I tried tracking her down, but it was no use considering the red room had her right where they wanted her. I didn't entirely just work for the military I was a spy for the red room and moved her. I made a deal with them a long time ago that if I ever had a daughter she would go to them.

They promised to keep my soulmate out of this who happened to be my wife and her mother. Of course when Anna died which wasn't no car accident I know that now after so much research. They did that because I disobeyed one simple thing that kept Anna alive and that was telling her. I knew I shouldn't have, but she needed to know our daughter wasn't staying with us forever.

So when she died I took my anger out on our daughter because not only did she look so much like Anna. It was also because I knew I couldn't save her and my pain to her would have been less then what they would be doing. I didn't truly have a choice in the matter about sending her off to Russia, but they didn't hold their end of the deal. After she got older they sent another assassin after me who was a part of the black widow program.

Of course she nearly succeeded well I told her who I truly was and what I was being put through. I guess she knew my daughter and or had a strong connection with her so she let me go. Trust me the red room doesn't forgive and they certainly don't forget about anything either. I wanted so badly to find my daughter again to tell her my side of the story, but again I had no luck.

Then I heard she got out of the red room and joined the army like I had, but then hydra came knocking. They wanted her, but I didn't have her all I knew was her last whereabouts and told them that. So again I knew I just lost my daughter even more than I had the first time I let her go to some stupid painful place. I knew she wasn't going to forgive me, but after hydra she was taken back by the government.

It might not have been the military, but it was still the government none the less and I was going to find her. Yet again she slipped out of reach and they government apparently killed her, but I don't believe that. I don't believe that for one second of my life, so I sent a friend from the red room who still hasn't returned. Thomas a dear old friend of mine who thinks he's on a mission for the red room. He had it out for my daughter so I've been using him to get to her location.

"boss I've got a location on the subject" he said

"what's her location?" I asked

"avengers tower sir" he said

"grab her and contact me when your done" I said

"on it sir" he said then ended the call

That was about a week or so ago and I still haven't heard from him so it was time I go in myself. I knew Rhodey was in there so maybe if I just asked for him instead. If I asked for someone who I knew might actually talk to me then maybe I could see her. Thomas was either dead or in a cell somewhere and I wasn't getting him back any time soon. So it was all up to me now, I walked into the tower and up to the front desk person.

"how can I help you sir?" the women asked

"is James Rhodes here right now, he told me to meet with him, but he hasn't returned a call and this is important military business I was wondering if you could grab him for me?" I said

"I will page someone and see if he is currently in the building, please wait here" she said stepping into another room

Rhodes POV

Suddenly my phone started buzzing so of course I picked it up quickly. It was the front desk which is weird they never page me.

"Hello" I said

"Mr. Rhodes someone is at the front desk asking for you he says it's very important military business" she said

"Ok I'll be down in a second" I said ending the call

"Hey guys I'll be back later someone needs me" I said heading to the elevator

I wasn't expecting who it was when I got down there I nearly left. He shouldn't be here, he has absolutely no right to be anywhere near here.

"You shouldn't be here David" I said

"I need to talk to her, I know she's here" he said

"I don't know what your talking about" I said

"Stop lying James she's here and I need to talk to her" he said getting frustrated

I pulled him into a separate room and locked the door. I can't have a scene out in the front of everyone. Not a lot of people know she's living here with us. So I need to keep this on the down low as long as I can.

"David she really isn't in a good place and she is most definitely not going to see you" I said

"She has no choice who do you think sent Thomas" he snapped

"You sent an assassin after you daughter thinking she'd come willingly" I snapped

"Yes and no" he said

"He was supposed to get her alone and I haven't heard from him in a week" he said

"That's because he's in a cell downstairs in the basement David" I snapped

"Let me see Trinity she needs to understand I had no choice but to let them have her" he said

"You beat her after her mother died she lost her mom any gained an abusive father David there is no way I'm letting you near her you need to leave" I said

That wasn't what he had planned
