LYRIC'S POV

I was um, well. There is honestly no other way to say it other than to be blunt. I was on the kitchen island a few weeks after the little barbeque thing. And um, Ruby was with me, for sure. She had her head buried between my thighs, sucking and licking my clit vigerously.

I threw my head back and cried out as the knot that had formed in my stomach broke. Ruby kissed up my mostly clothed body as I tried to catch my breath. Ruby smirked at me.

"You think that was fun, think about how much fun it's gonna be after we go out." She said, her accent especially think, and her voice deeper in general.

I bit my lip upon hearing her words.

"What should I wear?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Something hot." Ruby said before whipping her mouth off and letting me stand up. My knees buckled and I would have fallen if not for Ruby. It was around eight at night, we were gonna go out to a bar for a couple of hours.

I wabbled into my room and searched through my dresser for a little while. I grabbed a crop top that might as well have been a skin tight black bra, high-waisted black skinny jeans, and a gray hoodie and some heeled black boots. I out the clothes on and walked out to the kitchen.

When Ruby saw he her eyes traveled my body.

"You definitely look hot, babe." She said as she sat down, putting her black combat boots on, matching her charcoal grey muscle t, and ripped up black skinny jeans.

"You don't look too bad your self." I said. Ruby smirked as she finished tying her boots.

"You ready?" She asked. I nodded and walked towards the door. Ruby grabbed he leather jacket and followed me out to her car. I got in on my side and closed the door behind me. Ruby started the car up and drive off.

It wasn't a very long drive at all, ten minutes at the most. We both got out and walked into the bar. Ruby had her arm around my waist, her hand in my back pocket. I leaned into her touch and sighed contently as we washed through the door.

We walked up to the bar and each ordered a shot of tequila to start off. We took them at the same Tim and looked around for something to do, at the moment there were no good songs playing. I noticed a couple of game machines in one of the corners. I tapped Ruby's arm and pointed in her direction. She got what I was saying and we walked over there.

"Winner gets to go first." Ruby said as she stood in front of a pinball machine.

"First for what?" I asked. Ruby just looked at me and winked. I blushed slightly, getting what sh meant. Ruby put a quarter in the coin slot, starting the machine up.

Ruby was surprisingly extremely good at pin ball. She moved her hands quickly and gracefully like a pro. She beat the game and threw her arms in the air while simotaniously yelling.

"Yes!"

I laughed and jumped up to hug her. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders as I buried my head into her neck. I smiled, beyond happy in that moment.

Ruby and I were on our third shot, we were in the middle of the Dace floor with a bunch of other people. We were all sweating and grinding to "Red Handed" By: Shaggy.

I knew almost all of the words, having listened to this song a million times throughout my life time. When that song ended it was replaced by Without Me by Eminem.

Ruby and I both knew all the words.

"So this looks like a job for me! So everybody, just follow me. Cuz we need a little, controversy, cuz it feels so empty without me!" We belted out at the same time.

We both laughed at each other when we got tounge tied, or tripped over the words.

After a few more songs were were sitting at the bar drinking beers. To night had been an extremely fun night, couldn't be better, couldn't get better. And that of course is why everything had inevitably gonna to shit.

I stood up to order another drink when I felt someone, who for sure wasn't Ruby, smack my ass. Both mine and Ruby necks almost snapped with how fast we turned around.

"What the fuck was that asshole!?" I yelled at the creep who was now trying to walk away.

"Nice ass, bitch." The guy said. That's when Ruby lost it. She marched straight up to him and nailed him in the jaw. All hell broke loose after that.

Ruby lunged at the man again, not satisfied with just one hit, but she was caught around the waist by another guy.

"Get your hands off of her!" I yelled as I tried to get closer, but someone was holding me back.

The guy threw Ruby to the ground. He and his buddies started kicking her in the ribs, stomach, I even saw her get kicked in the face a few times.

I wrenched my arm free and ran over to her. I pushed both the guys away with a huge grunt. I knelt down and lifted her up to a sitting possistion.

"Fuck." I whispered as I saw the bruises already forming on her face. Ruby's eyes looked wild, angry, almost animalistic. I tried to ignore it as I helped her stand up.

I flipped everyone in the bar up as I led Ruby to her car.

"Give me the keys babe." I said as I helped her into the passenger seat. Ruby dug them out of her pocket and handed them to me.

I closed the door and walked around the car. I got in and started the engine up. I drove a little over the speed limit, but I didn't give a fuck wether or not I got pulled over.

I pulled into the hospital parking lot and got out, instantly going to Ruby's side as she struggled to get herself out of the car.

I let her put most her weight on me as I helped her limp into the hospital.

"Can someone please help me?" I called as o walked in. A nurse jogged up to me, looked Ruby over quickly, and then back to me.

"What happened?" She asked. I told her what happened. She just shook her head.

"Okay, follow me. There should be a doctor available, it's been a slow night." She said as she led us down the hall. We soon ran into middle aged man with brown and grey hair. He looked at Ruby and sighed.

"Start by telling me what happened." He commanded before gesturing for us to follow him into a room.

The nurse and I helped Ruby get up onto the table. The doctor examined Ruby as I told the story.

"Young men these days." He said under his breath.

"I see no serious damage, maybe couple of bruised ribs, nothing time won't heal. For now I'll just patch up the cuts and prescribe you some vikeden for the ribs." He said as he grabbed some small Band-Aids and put then over her small cuts.

The nurse walked back into the room with a decent sized bottle of pills and handed them to Ruby who put them in her jacket pocket. We thanked them and left.

I drove to my house, which at this point was basically Ruby's home too, but anyways. I helped her take her jacket off and lay on the couch. I took the bottle of pills out and opened them, taking one out. I grabbed a glass of water and gave Ruby the medicine.

She took it and thanked me quietly. I put everything away and got on the couch to snuggle up with her, careful of her bruises. She lazily wrapped an arm around my waist. I felt tears sting my eyes, no that the adrenaline had worn off I realized the full gravity of the situation.

Those guys could have seriously hurt her and it was all my fault. I shook slightly as I inhaled. I guess Ruby knew I was crying because she kissed my head and tightened her grip on my waist.

"I'm okay." She whispered.

"Im okay."
