Maureen call her Dad first  to  further  tell him about the Dinner that  She eventually planning to have with Jun .

Its seems that He and Alexa 's having a great time together ..
They are at their Food Shop store .

" Hello Dad . I have a surprise visitor today ...and , He asked me for a Dinner tonight  , Guess who ?

Waring hindi naman nagulat  ang Daddy nya , parang alam na nya .
'Little did I know , na mas nauna pa palang tinawagan ni Jun si Daddy kesa sa akin ..

Oh , surprises !

" Yeah , I know who it is!
He just called me an hour ago ... " Pangiti - ngiti itong nagsalita kay Maureen .
' Ok , Hija  have a good time "  masayang boses ng Daddy nya sa kabilang  linya  ' Pauwi na rin kami ni Alexa by seven o'clock ..we will have some Pizza and Pasta here at nearby  fastfood resto..before going home.'

"Ok then , see you later Dad '
Then , she took a shower  while  Jun  is waiting patienly for her .
She wears  , a   black long  sleeve  top  and jeans with Green trench coat..

They  caught the night at Brooklyn  Bridge ------
Being a little quieter  after  sunset  ,make  this perfect for a fine  dining,
take  in  the  panoramic views  of  the  Big  city lights.

They  chose  River Cafe , the  most exclusive Fine Dining   Restaurant on the  waters  in New York city
Well known around the city  as a wonderful culinary  destination  , noteworthy  of  romance settings  and similarly boast  one of  the most 'Outstanding Wine '  list in  the world .

Maya- maya ay lumapit sa  kanila ang isang matangkad  at maputing waiter  dala ang isang ' Menu '   " Good evening Sir .  Here are our list of Wines '
" Do you want something to drink ." tanong ni Jun kay Maureen habang kinukuha ang ' Menu '
" Uhmm ... maybe , ' marahang binuklat ni Maureen ang bawat page ng menu .." what about this , Caiarossa Red wine , it has the flavor of Cherries and dark Grapes ."
" Uhmm... marahang tiningnan ni Jun ang List of Wines sa menu , Well I guess this Catina Alta Chardonnay  🍾🍷   is much better if we will go for Steak and Ribs... also for Green salads ..
" Okay . "  Maureen nodded with a smile .

Then the waiter  make a little  bow and leave after He took the order .

Napahanga naman si Maureen   kay Jun , Ibang - iba na ito , kesa noong  iniwan nya sa Pilipinas ,  ten  years ago .
He got a little bit a touch of   class and elegant personality ,  a  true tyrant  in   business world ...noon  pa man ay matalino  na si Jun , determined to his dreams  , a gentleman ... and  a man  of  a  few words '  ika nga . Truly a man of my life ' 

For  their meals , Jun ordered  ,  T- bone steak and  Porterhouse  Steak and  Alfredo  Pasta  , Green  salad with balsamic vinaigrete dressing , pure  cream mushroomn soup , and lastly   a  Pan  fried Sea bass  in  lemon  herb buttered  sauce .

They  end the  night   strolling  in  a stunning Manhattan  Avenue ,

Autumn season..!
      The  cool breeze  can be felt  now ... Its cold  but  , still  pleasant enough to spend  the  night  together .  

Inihatid  muna  ni Jun   si  Maureen  bago  sya  tumuloy sa  Time Square Hotel . Minn

Bago tuluyang pumasok si  Maureen  sa loob ng kanyang Manhattan Apartment ay marahan syang kinabig ni Jun .
He leaned over her face ... He drew in a breath ------. flashing her a tense of smile .
He flipped  her long blonde hair at the back of her neck ... and kiss her  softly  on her lips .
Maureen  felt a burning sensation  all over her body .  She  kiss him back  .  Tuluyan  na nilang  binigyang  laya ang  mga  sariling. damdamin .
No  guilty  feeling  this time ..! 

Malalim na ang gabi ay hindi pa makatulog si Maureen .
Ayaw nyang isipin na Tama '. ang kanilang ginagawa , Pero ayaw din nyang isiping ' Mali ' 
Maraming beses na din syang nagpaubaya .

I think , its time for me to go in   whatever feelings I have for Jun .
She  carefully analyzed the  things  that had happened  betweenn the Three  of  them  ( Alyssa Jun and Maureen )

Hindi nya hiniling pero pagkakataon na ang nagbigay ng daan para sa kanila ni Jun .
And  She can feel the gesture  that He  did just to win her  back ...

Si Alexa , ang nakikita ni Maureen na magandang dahilan upang magka balikan  muli sila ni Jun

As if ,  She did nothing  wrong .
Hindi  sya naninira ng isang  pamilya ,. at hindi rin  sya nang aagaw ng asawa ...  Sila ni Jun ang tunay  na nagmamahalan  . Pinag hiwalay lang sila ng tadhana ... At ngayon ay muling pinag  - tagpo .

Biling  -  baligtad sya sa higaaan ,  dahil  sa totoo lang , ay   kinakabog  na sya  ng  kanyang konsensya .
Pero , hindi ba  ang dapat  ay  isipin  nya ang makakabuti   para  kay Alexa . -----
Hindi ba si Alexa  ang naa api sa sitwasyon nila .
The poor little girl ...  my Baby ... who' s always longing for a  "Father. "

Bakit nga ba sya makokonsensya sa isang pamilya  na iniwan ni Jun ....?                      Gayon sila  talaga ni Alexa ang  unang pamilya ni Jun .

Marahang  syang lumabas  ng  kanyang Bedroom ...  At  pumunta  sa  kwarto ni Alexa ...
Matamang  pinag -  mamasdan  ang walang kamalay  - malay na anghel , na  pinag -  kakaitan nya ng sariling  " Ama ... A family that she can call  her  own !

Marahang nilapitan nya si Alexa sa kanyang higaan , buong pagmamahal na niyakap at hinalikan " I'm sorry my Baby , naging madamot ako " Maureen sighs , she quips ...
Marahang kumilos si Alexa at waring naalimpungatan ng makita syang nakayakap sa kanya .
Why are you here Mommy , are you scared   ?"  Napangiti si Maureen sa inosenteng tanong na yon '. 
" No ...I just can't sleep honey "   Maureen nearly to cry ..... "And why are you crying , ? " sa  hindi inaasahang tanong ni Alexa ay mahigpit na niyakap nya .
" Honey , Is it okay for you  If  Tito Jun ..." Ngunit waring napigilan si Maureen , na sana ay sasabihin na nya ang totoo kay Alexa na , 'That your Tito Jun is actually your Father , But... She changed her mind , nangangamba sya na baka mabigla si Alexa ... Na baka hindi nito maintindihan ang mga pangyayari ...This  is not the proper time , she taught , Maureen bit her lip to prevented her from crying .
Then she rather say , " Is it okay for you If  your Tito Jun spend his vacation with us here in New York ?".
" Yeah , I would love to ..He is so kind and like a Daddy to me , and there's gonna be a lot of fun being with him ..."
".Are you excited to spend this weekend with him ?
Yes ! Alexa exclaimed with gulping excitement surrounding her beautiful smile . How I wish he is truly my Daddy "

" Really ..?

Waring naubusan ng hangin si Maureen , hindi nya alam kung matutuwa ba sya o maiiyak sa sinabi ni Alexa , but at least ...she releived , at muli nya itong hinalikan .
" Okay honey , let"s go to sleep now , tomorrow is an exciting day ..we will explore the Museum .. at the Park ...remember you told me , you like  it ."
" Yeah ...I remember "
" Uhmm , Mom  can I ask ... Why Tito Jun is so close to you ?
Err ..hmm , She clear her throath ..she never expected such kind of question coming from her ..
"Ahhh . He' s my best friend and best cousin !
"Goodnight now Honey ...maaga tayong gigising bukas , remember ..uhmm "  and she kissed her , marahan nyang nilagyan ng kumot si Alexa .
" Goodnight  Mommy " sabay halik sa pisngi nya.
Tumalikod na si Maureen at sa pagpinid nya ng pintuan at kagyat syang sumandal sa likod non.. humugot sya ng malalim na paghinga..Alexa's  not a child anymore...nakakaramdam na sya ...
Maya maya ay pumasok na rin sya sa kanyang kwarto.

"Good morning , are you ready ?"
Masaya ang mukha ni Jun  ng tumambad sya sa pintuan , may dalang isang malaking Stuff toy kay Alexa ... at ngumiti kay Maureen na waring nagtatanong kung okay ba kay Alexa kung kasama syang mamasyal ... Nakuha naman kaagad ni Maureen ang kahulugan ng ngiting yon .
" Yeah ... Alexa was so excited when I told her about your spending the weekend with us , "
' And what about you , are you excited to see me ?"  sabay kurot naman ni Maureen kay Jun na may halong ngiti at lambing .

METROPOLITAN MUSEUM.  ***

The days in November can be noted to have  little sunlight and shower rains.. but the evenings can get chilly .
" So , you want a new Sweater or a Jacket  ? "  Jun asked Alexa , habang papunta sila sa parking lot , kung saan naka park ang rented car ni Jun , " I have so many colors of Jacket and Sweater here , mamili ka kung ano ang favorite color mo ... I bought these all for you ..but I don't know your favorite color ..sana magustuhan mo lahat ..? "  sabi mi Jun ng makasakay na sila sa loob ng kotse , sabay tingin kay Maureen ,. "Yes , she can understand tagalog . but she can' t speak fluently . " Maureen chuckles .. " Uhmm , good ...she's still a filipino afterall , right Sweetie  ?" sabay hagod sa mahabang buhok ni Alexa ...na kanina pa nakatitig lang kay Jun .. ...they stared at each others eyes , the silence broke as Alexa's lips suddenly puffed into a smile .

They went to the Museum '. This  is actually a world class museum that remains a bucket -  list destination for travellers visiting New York  city .

They spend an entire morning until mid- day cruising the incredible art here -------
And the  Star of the Show ***    in the eyes of New York city children ..
The Hall of Sourischean Dinosours  -----. Feature the  bones of an imposing T- Rex and dozens of other Dinos'
Alexa is on  her Airpods,
wandering around museum .... vibing out to her own playlist ..

Hudson River Cruise ----
Their second stop.

Hudson River is  packed with unusual things to do ... A trip on a Rowboat is truly like a Family Holiday ----.and will be a lasting memory . ..Maureen glitched a little smile on her lips , as she sees how Jun and Alexa enjoyed spending time together , This really a Perfect way to spend a Family time together .
Picture Perfect , that is '..
 
"Family  ? 

Maureen stood still , seeing them together in this happy moments makes her heart tumbled in sorrow .
" In an instant , we are family ..." She almost teary eyed , realizing that this far from the truth ...
Two weeks will absolutely be enough to makr them even more closer together .

They ended up the day in a Sumptous dinner at the nearby. -------

Brooklyn  Bridge  '
Italian  restaurant ,------ serving old style Italian cuisine , nestled riverside under the

Brooklyn Bridge ..... It exsudes gorgeous atmosphere and enhanced by wonderful  flower arrangement of White and Red Roses (truly dramatic ) it has live piano music .... creating a perfect setting
for a Family ' .... and enjoy one of the Best Evenings of our lives ..Maureen murmured , smiling .

Accross the Bridge..
Over a River ...
And into a Dream ...

Brooklyn  ... A way to Remember  !
Seems to be a great place to date a Family ... Chilly night ... Had a great time in a gorgeous atmosphere overlooking the waters .
A place to make Memories a lifetime !
