Chapter 2

"Mmmmmmm!" I manage to get out after my eyes open once again. Did I fall asleep? No, because currently, I'm floating in the air. How? A sudden yell sparks my interest. "I thought you said this would make him sleep?" Green eyes meet my gaze. They glow with determination and courage. Another voice, from below, shook the green eyes from my view. "I'm experimenting with more potions, that one probably was the least potent, sorry." The person below throws a vial of light pink fluid, something I don't remember studying. The person holding me looks down once again, at my bi-colored eyes. "Sorry, I don't believe you would drink this willingly." I nod out of spite. Suddenly, I realize my mouth is left uncovered, and I bite my captor. "Y'ouch," exclaims the green-eyed person as they drop me, making me fall to my death. My eyes close, as I remember the wonderful times with my family and--

"Uh, why aren't I dead," I say, fearing to open my eyes. Opening my eyes, I see two figures standing on the ground, waiting for me. "So now can we give him the potion?" One says, walking towards me. I struggle to get down on the ground as well, but it's too late. My mouth forced open, inhaling a strong liquid. Soon, my vision goes out, this time not just for a minute.

...

"So, who is he?" A voice says.

"Calm yourselves, let him awake."

My eyes flutter open like a butterfly's wings. An unrecognizable scent motions to my nose as I get up. I stand and rub off the dirt on my clothing. "Hmm," I mutter, looking at the people surrounding me. The green-eyed boy, the potion girl, and...

"The knight?!" The blue-haired knight turns to me and bows slightly. "Hello, your majesty. I am-"

"Hush, I'm doing important things that need to be done, none of you would understand." A voice from afar whispers. Entertained by the mystery of who had said that, I take my chance to look at my surroundings. A dimly lit cave that only allows for me to see so far. The potion girl clears her voice. "Should I blindfold him, or wait until it stops snowing?" I clap my hands, waving for attention. "How about I get an explanation? I think that's a more important focus at the moment." The three huddled together, grumbling and mumbling coming through. Finally, after a couple of minutes, the green-eyed one spoke up. "Let's just sleep for right now." He walks to the far side of the cave, where the darkness is confined. He comes out with my satchel and grabs the blanket. "Here." The others go wherever they want and lay to sleep. Still struck and confused, I grab the blanket from the boy and drift off to sleep.

...

Wait, why am I going along with this? I grab my satchel and stuff my blanket inside, and hurry to leave the dim cave. The snow falls hard, as it seems like it has already reached three feet. Trekking down the mountain hills to Musutafu won't be an easy feat, but I'm certain I'll make it. Those kidnappers won't delay my plans to travel, to explore the world.

...

"Hello again." Potion girl exclaimed. Once again my eyes open to face the three kidnappers in daylight, and their shocking presence makes me realize I am on the ground. The snow seems to have stopped last night. I try to recount what had happened to make me face these three once again, but I cannot remember. "You look confused, I put a tracking spell on you the first time you went to sleep." She says. I furrow my eyebrows in anger. What exactly do they want from me? I simply want to explore Musutafu in peace, can't they understand my simple request?

The knight walks towards me and sticks his hand out. "I don't need your offering, I'll get up myself," I say, standing up to face the kidnappers. The three all looked at me with glee, but I was more or less upset. "What exactly do you want from me?" I ask, wanting to get to the bottom of this conundrum. The green-haired boy steps forward. "Come with us and we'll explain." A skeptical look appears on my face. I grab my satchel and run, going in whichever direction they weren't. Twist and turns with each step, I run. Feeling like the long run was enough, I stopped to look at where Musutafu would be.

Standing on the chillingly cold mountain hills I admire the view. Those weirdos need to leave me be, sooner or later they have to stop chasing me. "You like the view?" I turn around, almost causing whiplash to my neck, as only the green-haired boy walks towards me. He sits on a rock, motioning for me to the same. I comply, simply to talk to him about why he and his group keep chasing me.

We sit in silence for what feels like minutes on end. He finally spoke, his voice tearing every inch of me apart. "Please, come with us Prince Todoroki. We know you're confused, and we understand your hostilities. But you don't understand us. I sincerely give my apologies for the sleeping potions, though I don't suppose if we just asked you to help, such a busy prince like you would be kind enough." He smiles softly as he looks back at the view. My eyes stay on him, wondering just exactly who is talking to me. I swallow as I then answer him. "Are you from Musutafu?" He nods and opens his mouth to speak once more. "The other two are as well. Why do you ask?" So they are from the village. Perhaps if I help them, will they escort me to Musutafu? Such a predicament. We sit in silence for a few more minutes before I sigh. "Perhaps I'll help you, only if you help me into Musutafu." The green-haired boy's smile arose back onto his face, with more happiness this time. He yells "Great!" and pulls me along towards the other two.

'Well this will be fun'' I thought, as we march along to wherever the wind takes us.
