The sound of wing beats filled the air, five kids lifting into the air. "Ennoshita! Look!"One of the winged kids calls. "Yachi, stay close to Kageyama"Ennoshita commands circling around a cottage. A girl with dark brown skin, white hair and red eyes took off into the air, joining them. "Serenity!"Yachi beamed waving. Serenity flew over, her wings beating powerfully. "Tsukishima!"Serenity says brushing her wing against his. Tsukishima turned his head in the direction of her voice. "Yeah...now where's you know who"Tsukishima says listening intently. "She was just here"Serenity frowned looking around annoyed. Serenity flew down towards the ground, Tsukishima following her as they searched for the last member of their flock. "NATSU!"Sereniy called looking around.

"Down here!" Natsu waved to them beaming, holding a basket of strawberries. Serenity landed beside her, folding her wings back quickly when Tsukishima landed beside her. She kneeled down, the others landing behind her, helping them pick more strawberries. She dropped them into Natsu's basket, a small smile on her face. Tsukishima sniffed the strawberries, picking the ripe ones. "I can make strawberry flavored food and desserts with these from now on"Ennoshita suggests. "Nah, we'd get too tired of your food after day three!" Ennoshita looked sharply at Kageyama, who shook his head quickly. Serenity stayed silent, picking strawberries. "Serenity"Ennoshita says. The girl laughed, Ennoshita ruffling her hair in amusement. Natsu screamed, the laughter instany halting as everyone went on the offensive just as the first cyborg came at them.

"YACHI, NATSU, UP AND AWAY!!"Ennoshita shouted tossing them into the air. Gunshots followed the two girls as they quickly winged away to safety. Serenity stabbed a cyborg in the head with her knife, then ripped it's head off, whirling around to face a robot dog. Tsukishima pulled a grenade out if his pocket, luring them further from the strawberry field. Their yells made him stop, the sound of people falling making him turn. He tossed the grenade into the hole after pulling the pin out. An explosion went off as he bolted into the air, returning back to his friends with three powerful wing strokes. Ennoshita shot down several armed scientists, Serenity and Kageyama destroying the cyborgs. "FLY! EVERYONE INTO THE AIR!"Tsukishima yelled pulling the pin out of another grenade. Serenity leaped into the air, Kageyama following behind her.

Ennoshita threw himself into the sky, Tsukishima flying after them as he dropped the grenade oncege was high enough. Serenity let out a hawk cry, Natsu and Yachi flying over to them quickly, gunshots sounding behind the retreating kids. An explosion went off, Serenity looking back in shock at how big it was. "To the cottage"Ennoshita orders. They changed direction, flying in a V formation, Ennoshita in the lead. Serenity was the first into the cottage, landing by the diner table, the rest following close behind. "Everyone alright?"Serenity asks quietly. "Yeah." She walked over to Kageyama, handing him a bandage, Tsukishima rubbing his aching shoulder. Ennoshita checked Natsu's palms and knees, Yachi looking nervous. This was what they were, bird freaks in hiding after escaping from a lab with mad scientists. Their former leader, Daichi, died helping them escape, an explosion incident took his life. Each of them were designed differently, for different purposes that could benefit the people who made them.

Ennoshita was the oldest to be made in the lab, with Serenity close behind him, after that Kageyama and Tsukishima were made together and announced as twin brothers. Tsukishima got into an incident that caused fire to burn his eyes, blinding him instantly. Yachi was made three months later with Natsu being the final creation a year afterwards. Ennoshita was eighteen, Serenity was sixteen, Kageyama and Tsukishima were both twelve, Yachi was eleven and Natsu was ten, although she's programmed to act like a childish adult. The scientists made them to blend in with human society and create more mutants, the only two who weren't created to do so was Ennoshita and Serenity. The duo were created to mate with each other, or another mutant, although so far the scientists locked both Ennoshita and Serenity in a room before their escape to see what would happen. "Should we leave?"Serenity asks looking at Ennoshita. His expression softened when he looked at her, a small twinkle of admiration and love visible in his eyes. "What do you think we should do?"Ennoshita asks brushing his wing against hers.

"I don't know that's why I'm asking you, moron"Serenity grinned keeping her wing pressed against his. "I think we should leave"Kageyama says hugging his knees to his chest. That's another thing about them, their personalities were programmed into them as well, instead of letting them form by themselves. Ennoshita was more is a quiet leader, acting somewhat submissive towards Serenity when he was near her, but knew when it was time to throw his brave face on and fight. Serenity was the strong silent yet kind type, always making teasing remarks whenever she could. Tsukishima was sarcastic at times, and makes it hard to tell when he cares for his fellow flock members. Kageyama was quiet and liked to be invisible to the others, which freaks them out whenever he does speak up out of nowhere. Yachi loved the latest styles, tour spots and just about anything a actual teenager would like. And little Yachi was the sweetheart of the group, always bringing smiles onto their faces.

"You smell that"Tsukishima demands standing up straight. Serenity looked up, her eyes widening when she smelled smoke. "BOMB! FLY!"Serenity gasped. She took off out the window, holding Yachi and Natsu. Tsukishima took off into the sky after her, Kageyama scrambling to get out. Ennoshita threw himself out the window, beating his wings. "SERENITY!"Yachi gasped. Serenity dove back into the house, appearing a split second later with backpacks. A shriek came from her as the explosion tossed her into the air. Ennoshita caught her, Kageyama and Yachi catching the bags. "I can fly and those bags have clothes, food and other things in them"Serenity says spreading her wings and taking off. Ennoshita flew near her, their wing tips brushing. "Let's beat it"Ennoshita suggests looking at her for approval. "Yeah"Serenity nods. "Time to go, on the run"Serenity mutters.
