Note: I DO NOT own The Owl House or DC Comics so don't report me, this is for entertainment purposes only. Also, this chapter is based off of the first season's twelfth episode. As for episodes 8, Luz being in Eda's body means that she can't use the power of Shazam. And with King in Luz's body, he can use the power of Shazam. But he doesn't transform because he keeps mispronouncing the word. In episode 9, Luz transforms and beats up the guards at Hexside along with spanking Mattholomule for trying to get her and Gus into detention. In episode 10, even though Luz missed the bus. She used her transformation to carry Willow and Gus to the grudgy match against Glandus. And in episode 11, when Piniet traps Luz and King in a magic cube, Luz shouts "Shazam" and the lightning bolt destroys the cube. Luz then beats up Piniet and leaves with King. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

We start off Luz on the sofa, reading a brochure of Hexside.

Luz: King, listen to this.

King: Hey, less read-y, more scratch-y.

Luz: Sorry. Now that I'll be a student at Hexside, I wanna learn all about it. I've got a new crush and her name is education.

She says as Eda kicks the door open.

Eda: Hey, freeloaders! Guess what today is.

Luz: Is it your birthday?

King: Is it my birthday?

Hooty: It's my birthday.

Eda: Nope! It's Human Treasure Day!

She says, closing the door and opening her portal as Owlbert returns with a sack full of human junk. Eda then jumps onto the junk pile.

Eda: Ah . . . fresh garbage.

King goes through the pile, taking out a teddy bear and adding it to his "army of terror" as he calls it.

Eda then takes some coat hangars, mistaking them for earrings.

Luz: Did you know that Hexside was built on the bones of it's rival school? One it literally conquered?

Eda: Yes, I know all these things. I went there. It was the most harrowing period of my life.

She says while admiring herself with a mirror, still thinking the coat hangars are earrings.

Luz: Can you imagine it? Me in the halls of Hexside, studying with Willow, Gus and maybe even Amity.

Luz jumped as she realized something.

Luz: Amity! Oh cramity! We're supposed to meet so I could get my Azura book back!

She says as she exits the owl house before opening the door again.

Luz: I love you guys.

Hooty: And I love you, Luz.

He says as Luz shuts the door and leaves.

Luz ran all the way to Bonesborough, looking for Amity.

She then noticed Amity in the distance, wearing casual clothing.

Luz: Hey, Amity! Luz is finally here!

Emira & Edric: Hi, Luz!

They said, appearing right in front of her, making Luz fall on her back in surprise.

Amity: Emira, Edric, stop bothering her!

She said as she helped Luz up.

Amity: Sorry, Luz. They insisted on coming for some reason.

Emira: Because we wuv you, baby sister.

She says before Amity pushes her away.

Amity: They've been extra protective and nice towards me to make up for the library incident.

Edric: And we still apologize every day.

He says before Amity pushes him away as well.

Amity: In any case, here's your book.

She says, giving Luz her Good Witch Azura book.

Luz: So . . . what'd you think?

Amity: It was . . . fine.

Luz: So fine you drew yourself with Malingale the Mysterious Soothsayer?

She says, holding a drawing Amity made.

Embarrassed, Amity used a spell circle which destroyed her drawing.

Luz: This is great. Maybe we can start an Azura club when we're classmates.

Amity: When we're what?

Luz: Surprise! I'm enrolling into Hexside! I already got the placement exam in the bag. Two spells required and I already got two spells. Light and S-H-A-Z-A-M.

She said, making sure not to transform by accident.

Emira: Heck yeah, you got this!

Luz: Well, thanks for lending my book back Amity. I'll see you guys later!

She waved them goodbye as she heads back to the Owl House.

Eda: Hey, kid. Get ready. We're going out.

Luz: Out where?

Eda: You'll see.

They then get ready, wearing winter coats and hats as they head out to a place of ice and snow.

Eda: Welcome to the Knee!

Luz: Yes!

She says, her voice echoing across the snowy mountain that is literally the knee of the Titan skeleton that forms the isles itself.

Eda: I'm in a generous mood today and have decided to teach you a new spell.

Luz: Really?! Eda, you're the best-

Eda: No hugs.

Luz: Okay. This place is beautiful by the way.

Eda: Yeah, it is. But it does have it's dangers. Like that Slitherbeast over there.

She said as Luz noticed a giant, eyeless, white fur covered monster with fangs and claws from a distance.

Eda: But we don't have to worry about it. You don't mess with it, it won't mess with you.

She said as they continued throughout the knee. Luz and Eda almost got hit by a magic blast as they see Amity, Emira and Edric a few yards away.

Amity: Sorry, Luz!

Luz: Amity? What are you guys doing here?

Edric: We came here to help Amity train.

Luz: What's that?

Amity: Oh, it's a . . . training wand.

She says, somewhat embarrassed by it.

Luz: Oh. Eda said she wanted to train me here too.

Edric: Come on, Mittens. We gotta keep practicing.

Amity: Yeah, yeah. I'll see you later, Luz.

Luz: See ya!

Eda: Come on, kid. Let's go.

She said as they went off to train.

Eda's methods were a bit unorthodox, but who didn't see that coming? After a while, it started snowing and Luz saw the snow flake turning into a glyph.

Luz then drew the glyph in the snow, creating ice with it.

Luz: Wow, an ice spell!

Eda: See? Pretty cool, huh? Now then, why don't we get to the real reason I brought you here.

Luz: Huh? What do you mean?

Eda backed away from Luz, taking out her staff as she twirls it into the air.

Eda: I've just been curious about how strong you are, kid. Come on, transform. Show me what you got.

Luz smiled.

Luz: Shazam!

A lightning bolt hits her, transforming her into her alter ego.

Luz: Sure you can handle this, Eda?

She asked with a grin.

Eda: Please, I'm the most powerful witch in the Boiling Isles. I can handle anything.

Luz: Your funeral. Nah, just kidding. Let's do this, Eda!

She said as teacher and student began their duel.

Emira: Hey, check it out! Luz and the Owl Lady are dueling!

Edric: Cool! But why does Luz look so different?

Amity: I'm not really sure, it's a weird spell where she says a simple word and she just transforms.

Emira: Wow, look at her! She's turned into an adult, the pranks and mischief she can do with it.

Edric: Sounds like a fun time!

Amity: How about we focus on the duel?

She said as Eda and Luz continued their fight.

Eda using all sorts of magic as Luz fires lightning and dodges Eda's attacks.

Eda was going to blast her but Luz leaps into the air, jumping super high into the sky.

Eda flew after her, firing magic blasts at Luz.

The teen blocked the attacks, her durability serving her well to minimize the damage.

But Eda's attacks hurt her more than anyone else she's faced.

Luz: 'Eda wasn't kidding. She really is the most powerful. Probably the strongest person I've seen so far.'

She thought as she tried to grab Eda's staff, but she missed as she fell to the ground.

Eda: Giving up yet?

Luz: Yeah, right! Get back down here!

Eda charged towards Luz, firing more magic blasts at her, fire, water, ice, wind, earth and much more.

The fight lasted a while now and Eda was getting tired while Luz wasn't even breaking a sweat as she used this opportunity in an attempt to overpower Eda.

Eda tried her best to keep Luz at bay, but she was too tired and weakened to stop her student.

Luz chucked one blast of lightning towards Eda, forcing the witch to dodge as the lightning bolt flies off into the distance and causing an explosion.

Eda was exhausted as she collapsed to the ground.

Luz: Tired, Eda?

Eda: Oh, shut it. How are you not tired after all that?

Luz: Stamina of Atlas.

Eda: Who?

Luz: Just a Titan from Greek Mythology.

Eda: Titan?

Luz: Yeah, you said every mythical thing on earth is based off of things leaking into the human realm, right? Well, Atlas was a Titan that literally holds the weight of the world on his shoulders for all eternity.

Eda: Well, I don't know much about Titans. Aside from the fact that the Boiling Isles was formed by the corpse of one. Anyway, I gotta hand it to ya, kid. You're pretty strong. I'm sure you'll surpass me in no time.

Luz: Pfft! Like I haven't already?

The two laughed together before they heard a roar in the distance.

Luz: . . . What was that?

Eda: That, my young apprentice, was the Slitherbeast.

They then heard screaming some distance away.

Luz: Oh, no! Amity and the twins!

Eda: Get over there and help, kid. I'm too tired to fight. I'll catch up.

Luz nods as she jumps high and far before landing a few yards from Amity and the twins.

The Slitherbeast was trying to eat them alive as they did their best to keep it at bay.

Luz: Guys, I'm here!

Amity: Luz!

Amity yells before the Slitherbeast grabs her.

Luz: Amity!

She yells before running super fast towards the beast, punching it's wrist and forcing it to let go of Amity.

The green hair dyed girl would've hit the ground if not for Luz catching her.

Luz: You okay?

Amity: Y-Yeah . . . thanks!

She says just as the Slitherbeast tries to smash them with it's fist.

But Luz was too fast, dodging it. She then proceeds to grab both Emira and Edric before running to a safe distance.

Luz: You guys stay here, I'll take care of the Slitherbeast.

She says before jumping high into the air, she was heading straight for the Slitherbeast, punching it in the head as the beast fell to the ground.

The Slitherbeast got up and roared as it tried to grab Luz, but our teen heroine was too fast for it as she runs underneath the beast's belly.

Luz: Shazam!

She said as the lighting bolt hits the beast from above on it's back.

It would've fallen on her, had Luz not had the strength of Hercules, easily lifting the beast and throwing it to the other side of the knee.

The Slitherbeast lets out a roar of rage before they lose sight of it.

Everyone: Luz!

Luz turned to see Eda riding her staff towards her as Amity, Emira and Edric ran up to her.

Edric: That was so cool, Luz!

Emira: Yeah, that Slitherbeast was all like "raaah!" And you were all like "Nuh-uh!" And it was all like "I'll get you for this!"

Amity: Your power is incredible, Luz. And thank you again for helping us.

Luz: You don't have to thank me, just doing my job as Protector of the Realms and Magic. So, look, when I get into Hexside, we NEED to start an Azura Book Club.

Amity: As long as it's a secret club, okay?

Edric: It's not a secret.

Emira: We're gonna tell everyone.

Amity sighs.

Eda then sneezes and snorts.

Eda: All right, your adorable banter is literally making me sick. Let's go home already, it's getting dark.

Luz: On it, teach!

She says, grabbing hold of Eda and leaping high into the sky.

Luz & Eda: Woooooooooooooooooo!

Emira: . . . I think we can go the normal way.

It only took a couple minutes for Luz to get them home. Luz reverted back to normal as they the open the door to see King and Hooty surrounded by a huge mess.

Eda: Hey, what the heck did you guys do?!

King: Um, excuse me, we're having a moment here!

Hooty: You'll never understand what we've been through together! Never, never!

King: Ugh, moment ruined.

Hooty: I will be haunted by my actions forever. Hoot, hoot!

Eda: Yeah, yeah, just clean up this mess. You too, King.

King: What?!

Eda: It's either that or you pay rent.

King: Fine!

He said as he and Hooty start cleaning up the mess they made.
