"Michelle will you hurry up!! You're wasting my precious time." I said while polishing my nails in the back seat of my Mercedes Benz.
"Just give me a minute!" She said from inside her house which I was currently in front of.
" I don't have a minute to waste. Richard let's go." I commanded my driver. He was about to leave when she rushed inside the car.
"I'm sorry for the delay."
"Whatever. Just sit down already." I now busy with my phone.
Michelle was a African-American with straight long brunette hair and a long pretty face. She was the second runner up in our school pageant last semester and you know the first already.

Although she was pretty, she was nothing compared to my flawless fair skin and my curly platinum blonde hair. She was a little curvier than me but I still had the height and beauty of an American supermodel.
We have been best friends for like... Ever. I can't remember when she wasn't even there anymore.
We were talking about the party we attended last night when I smelt it.
"God! What's that smell?!"
She began sniffing. " What smell?"
I brought my nose to her dress. "It's you! What's that?! Insecticide?!"
She sniffed herself too."Oh! Are you talking about my new perfume? Oh it's a new product of Ver..."
"What! Is it made of ? Dog poop and alcohol?"
"Hey! That's not fair! It's not that bad. And it's literally made of alcohol."
I breathed in." Hey." I brought out a bottle from my bag." Use this."
"Oh my god! The new Victoria's Secret collection. Cool!"
"Whatever, you can have it. Just don't spray THAT ever again."
"Thanks you're the best."
"I know. Now let's get down before we are late for our first day of school."

"Can someone state the Newton law of gravitational force? Anyone?" Mrs Thatcher our physics teacher asks for the second time.
I look around. Nobody. Well, looks like I'll come to the rescue. Again.
I raise my hand.
"Is she the only one in this class?" She asks. No reply."Fine, answer the question Miss Taylor."
" Newton law of gravitational force states that 'the force of attraction between two masses is directly proportional to their products and inversely proportional to their distance of separation."
"Wonderful! That was excellent Miss Taylor. At least one person proves I have been a teacher. That will be all for today. Have a nice day class."
"Thank you Mrs Thatcher." The whole class murmurs as she leaves.
I pack my book ready to leave when I see Chloe come towards me.
"You were great today, Selena."
"I know." Chloe is a member of the school cheerleaders and a close friend, I think.
"I like you earrings." She compliments." I'm so getting those."
I turn and face her." No you're not. We are not ever wearing the same stuff, got it?"
She nodded looking intimidated. "Scratch that, forget I even said that. So when is ..."
I didn't get to answer her because I didn't even hear what she said. One minute I was so irritated with Chloe begin all over me and the next I was on the ground.
I looked for what happened. I was pushed by someone, some girl.
"What the hell was that?!' I shrieked.
"I'm sorry. I was looking for the hall and I was looking at the map and I didn't see you. So I..." She said
"I don't care whatever you were doing just get out of my face already!"
The girl stood there for a moment like she was deciding what to do with me before she sighed and walked away.
I looked at Chloe who was just panicking and looking at me.
"Hey, just don't stand there!! Get me up!"
"'Oh right." She lent me her hands.
I stood up brushing my skirt. "Who was that girl?"
"I don't know. Never seen her before."
I sighed. "Chloe, explain why I'm friends with you again?"
"Because I'm cute and sister of your boyfriend?"
I sighed." Fine. I'll keep you then. Let's go."

After my last class before break, I go to my locker were I find Michelle there already.
"What's was all the commotion?" I said noticing how rowdy the hallway is.
"Oh I heard its some new girl trouble."
"I hate new people." I murmured as I opened my locker putting my books in it.
"Speaking of new people, I heard you bumped into one."
"What are you talking about?"
"The girl you bumped into after your physics class."
"How did you know about that?" And my question was answered as I saw her walk in. "Chloe!"
"Hi Selena."
"So you did bump into her." Michelle said.
"Why are you making a big deal out of this?" I asked her.
"Nothing, just heard that the person who is causing this stampede is our 'MissNewGirl' and the football captain." She said nonchalantly.
"How does that have anythi... Wait when you say football captain you mean Alec?"
"Yes."
"You mean my Alec?"
"Of course your Alec. How many Alecs' do we know?" Michelle says. I roll my eyes at her . She is the only one I let talk to me that way.
"Let's go." I said , moving to the direction of the crowd. Reaching there, almost everyone was gone. I let out a frustrating sigh.
"It's okay Selena, nothing bad happened between them. I heard it was a harmless misunderstanding." Chloe said.
"You didn't care to tell me that before I ran here looking like a crazy person."
"I'm sorry but I just heard Alec protected her from a bully or something."
"Did you hear yourself at all? You make it sound like a scene from a romance novel. Urrgh !! I'm so getting out of here."
"Where are we going?" Chloe said causing me to give her a deadly stare. "Don't worry about me I'll just follow you."
I walked into the cafeteria a picked a tray to get my food. I was about to go to our normal eating spot when I saw someone sitting there. Someone was actually sitting there! And on my spot. It wasn't Alec or Roland or Gray. It was actually a girl. Walking slowly to my table the whole cafeteria got quiet waiting for my reaction. They knew the rules. Nobody touched my stuff. My things, my friend or my man. No one.
Until her. I moved closer to the table seeing her face clearly now. I heard Chloe whisper an 'oh oh' behind me. It was her. The girl at the hallway.
"You again?"
She smiled. She f**king damn smiled!
"I was about to say the same thing. I guess we are fated to be friends. Hi, I'm Katherine Williams but my friends call me Kat. I'm new here." She said offering me her hands.
Then the whole cafeteria burst out in laughter.
"I'm sorry did I say anything funny?" She asked looking puzzled. I had to admit she was beautiful. Not Rihanna type of beauty, more like Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande. She had this innocent look on her face that will drive boys crazy and girls jealous. Me, it just made me want to kill her.
"Excuse me Cat or kitty or whatever the f**k your name is which it doesn't matter to me by the way. You are trespassing and as much as I want to drag your hair and slap you right now I'll rather not since I'm wearing my best shirt..."
"You are?" It was Chloe.
"For god sake Chloe, shut up already. Of course it isn't my best shirt."
I turned to see Kat laughing. "Was so funny?"
"I'm sorry I just can't help it. You two look cute when you fight. Are you guys bf's?" Addressing Chloe.
"We totally are!"
"We are not!" I shouted. '"Hey are you trying to confuse me or something?"
"No no, why would I do that? So you were saying?" She looked at me like she was actually paying attention.
"I get to say if I talk or not you don't have a right to, you understand."
"Fine, since you made it clear you have nothing to say. It wouldn't be wrong if I continue my sandwiches right. No person in her right mind can keep Nutella sandwiches away for to long. It could be dangerous."
I watched as she ate the sandwich dreamily like no one was there.
I've had enough of this rubbish already. I grabbed the sandwich  and threw it on the floor.
"That's it. I tried to be civilized." Kat said as she got up facing me directly.
"What are you going to do? Slap me?"
"In that way I think we are both similar, I would have but I don't like to display violence especially when eating. I think I'll let it pass if you leave me to eat my lunch in peace."
"Leave you? You're the one who is sitting on my table!"
"Oh! So that's the problem. I'm sorry when I came here, I didn't see your or anyone here and didn't know it was taken. If that's the problem, I'll immediately move."
I hate this girl. Who does she think she is? She's bitchy one moment and the next she's so nice you think you were imagining it at first. I quickly held her hands as she was about to move.
"Where do you think you are going?"
"Emm... Any empty seat, why?" She blinked looking at me.
"You know you're revolting right, Kat."
"That's enough, I'm sure I made it clear that I'm called Kat by my friends. And you have proving in the last few minutes that you aren't one, so stick with Katherine. About me being revolting, I don't know but you. You're on a whole different level."
She was about to leave when I snapped. I immediately throw my tray to wherever dragging her hair and hitting her back. She was strong I'll say, if not for the lessons Alec has been giving me on building up my stamina, I would have been on the floor in a matter of seconds. No one dared to separate us, just recording the whole thing on their phones.
Then someone pushed us apart. It was Alec.
"Selena will you stop this madness already!"
"But she started it!"
"That's not true. I was watching the whole thing."
"So you saw her humiliating me and you didn't say anything?!"
"Selena let's leave and talk about it some where else."
"Please give your girlfriend a leash or something. She is crazy." Saying that she walked out.
Alec dragged me out of the cafeteria and into the parking lot." What's your problem Selen?"
"Oh so it my problem now?"
"Of course it is, you just deliberately tried to humiliate that girl!"
"Like you just humiliated me?"
He pushed his head back and sighed. "What do you mean?"
"You were there when everything happened and you couldn't even say something?"
"Like what exactly?"
"Anything that would have made me look good. Do you know what people will say because you were there and didn't do anything when your girlfriend was humiliated?"
"For the thousands time, how many times did I say you should stop thinking about what you think people will say. I'm dating you not 'people '."
"Oh so you can't defend me but you defended her today."
He looked at me for a second like he just realized something. "So this is what this is about, really?"
'Of course not, I'm not angry that my boyfriend is the knight in shining armor for a total crazy person when he can't even defend me."
"She's not crazy and her name is Katherine."
I was raged. "You know what?!"
'"Let's not take this to seriously Selena, we have enough problems as it is already."
"I'll just go home and leave you to enjoy your new girlfriend." I said ignoring his last words.
"Selena don't do this!!" He said holding my hands.
I removed myself from his hold and walked to my car. "I need some space."
"But our relationship already has enough space. We don't even know each other anymore." He cried.
I opened my car and started the engine. "I'm sorry Alec, but I need this."
He nodded leaving the door handle then shutting it for me. As I drove home the only thing that filled my head was one thought.
I hate new people!
