Takuya arrived at some sort of jungle they saw Pokémon everywhere.

"Amazing look at all the Pokémon here." Koyuki said happily.

"Do you think this is the Safari Zone?" Yami asked.

"No, this isn't the Safari Zone. This is the Pokémon Reserve area. Wild Pokémon catching is forbidden here. We need to look for the ranger station. I've heard that the ranger here gets upset, whenever humans like us enter here." Takuya explained.

"You're right about that." A voice said from behind them.

An Officer Jenny came out from behind the bush.

"I'm Ranger Jenny and I'm glad that you know that Pokémon catching is forbidden here."

Ranger Jenny took them to the ranger station.

There was a big map on screen. "This map helps me watch over the Pokémon Reserve," Ranger Jenny explained, "when poachers or trainers enter the area red lights appear on here."

Just then a boy about seven years old, who has spiky medium blue hair and black eyes, entered the station and he had a Growlithe with him.

"I'm here Ranger Jenny." The boy said and noticed Takuya, "You're not poachers are you?"

"Don't worry Tomo she is not, Takuya here is a trainer who is passing by here." Ranger Jenny explained. "This is Tommy," She introduced him, "but I call him Tomo for short."

While Tomo began playing with Growlithe, Ranger Jenny explained about Tomo, "I've taken care of Tomo ever since he was a baby. He and his parents were looking at the area in their helicopter, but something went wrong with the helicopter and it crashed, I managed to get Tomo and his parents out of the helicopter before it exploded. But Tomo's parents were really hurt by the crash and they were taken to hospital immediately, they are alive but they fell into a heavy coma, while Tomo here survived and I've cared for him ever since waiting for his parents to wake up one day."

"Oh, so his parents are still in a coma?" Takuya asked sadly.

"Yes but Tomo believe that they will wake up."

"True don't stop believing."

Suddenly a red rador light appeared on the map.

"Poachers are here, I must leave at once." Ranger Jenny said getting up.

"Can I come along as well, I want to help out." Takuya offered

"Of course, hop in."

Ranger Jenny, Tomo and Takuya went in a jeep to see what the commotion was all about.

The commotion was really Team Rocket.

Team Rocket was in the Pokémon Reserve and was planning to capture all the Pokémon, known as Kangaskhan.

Kangaskhan is a large, bipedal creature with a thick tail. It has a brown hide with several raised patches, and a cream-colored belly. On top of its head is a black patch, and it has large cream-colored ears and red eyes. Its snout is short and rounded with two pointed teeth protruding from its upper jaw. There are epaulette-like growths over its shoulders and a row of spikes down its back. It has three clawed digits on each hand and foot. In the pouch on its belly, it carries a baby Kangaskhan. Unlike its parent, the baby is light purple and has smooth skin.

"If we capture all of the Kangaskhan," James said looking at the herd, "we'll get a big promotion from the boss."

"Hurry now," said Jessie, "we must act quick."

"Everything is all set." Meowth said.

Soon Office Jenny, Tomo and Takuya arrived at the scene.

Takuya saw a the herd of Kangaskhan, "Woah there rare to see." She said and looked the Pokémon.

🔹Kangaskhan, the Parent Pokémon.
The Kangaskhan is a rare Pokémon which raises its children in its pocket. They will attack viciously and without warning if they feel their young are threatened in any way.

"Kangaskhan are the reason why poachers keep coming here," Ranger Jenny explained, "and right now everything seems all right."

Just then a bang happened in the sky the Kangaskhan heard the bang and started to get panicky.

Koyuki spotted Team Rocket, "Mother Team Rocket is at it again." She said.

"What? Ranger Jenny can't we do something?" Takuya asked.

"We can't," Ranger Jenny explained, "if I go after Team Rocket in my jeep, the Kangaskhan may start charging."

Then another bang happened and this time the Kangaskhan went charging.

The group managed to escape the stampede, but then Team Rocket caught the Kangaskhan in the net.

Takuya and Tomo gasped in shock.

Takuya was about to help when they heard a charging noise.

"Sounds like she's coming Jenny." Tomo said.

"I agree with that." Ranger Jenny said.

"Who is coming?" Takuya asked in curiosity.

They saw a Kangaskhan coming their way, heading towards the other Kangaskhan.

"Oh Arecus, that Kangaskhan has a great fighting aura." Koyuki said amazed.

"Will she be alright?" Yami asked.

"There is no need to worry," Ranger Jenny said, "this Kangaskhan is a real fighter."

When the Kangaskhan saw the others in the net, it was furious.

Just as Jessie tossed a Pokéball to catch it, the Kangaskhan punched it away then her right fist glowed white and hit Team Rocket's jeep, sending the Pokéballs away.

"Wow, that was Dynamic Punch." Takuya said excitedly.

Then with her teeth, Kangaskhan cut the net to let the other Kangaskhan out.

Then all the Kangaskhan used mega punch to send Team Rocket flying.

The Kangaskhan were relieved and went back to roaming the zone.

'That was amazing, that Kangaskhan sure is powerful.' Takuya thought.

Back at the ranger station, the gang were amazed about what they saw.

"That Kangaskhan sure packed an amazing punch." Koyuki said in amazement.

"Yeah," Takuya said agreeing, "I've never seen anything like that in a Kangaskhan."

"That Kangaskhan has always been like that," Ranger Jenny said, "even as a baby she was a fighter."

"Is her baby a fighter as well?" Yami asked curiously.

"Well I haven't seen her baby fight yet, but it is very independent for a baby. It's never afraid of going out of its mother's pouch or afraid of meeting new Pokémon."

"Wow, it seems like it will end up strong like its mother." Takuya said.

Just then they all heard a squeak coming from outside the station, when they had a look outside, they noticed a baby Kangaskhan.

"Ah cute." Koyuki gushed.

"What's that baby Kangaskhan doing here and why is it not with its mother?" Takuya asked.

"That is the baby of that Kangaskhan," Ranger Jenny answered, "it always likes to wonder around the area."

"Hm..." Takuya sat down to think that she felt something in her lap, she look down and saw the baby Kangaskhan happily sitting in her lap, "Awe~ Aren't you a curious little girl." She cooed and hugged her making her laugh.

Ranger Jenny and Tomo were amazed by this; they never saw a baby Kangaskhan bond with a human before.

"Amazing that's a first." Tomo said.

"Yes." Ranger Jenny nooded.

Just then a red rador appeared on Ranger Jenny's screen map again.

"I have a feeling that it's Team Rocket again." Yami said in annoyance.

They got into the jeep again, Takuya ook the baby Kangaskhan with them, just incase her mother was there.

When they got there they found out that it was Team Rocket again, this time they had built a giant robot Kangaskhan to attack the Kangaskhans.

Worst of all they fired tranquilizers at the Kangaskhan to make them fall asleep.

Takuya was furious, she gently passed the baby Kangaskhan to Koyuki and got out of the jeep.

"Mother is angry." Koyuki putting the baby on her uncle back.

"Team Rocket broke a rule that way." Yami said.

"Rule?" Tomo asked.

"Watch."

"Poseidon I need your help!" Takuya released her atrocious Pokémon.

"Grrr!" Poseidon roared seeing Team Rocket.

"Wow." Tomo said amazed.

"Poseidon aqua tail." Poseidon release a wave of water from his tail hitting the machine, taking it away near the Kangaskhan, "Blast that machine away with hyper beam!" He released fired a hyper beam smashing the robot and sent Team Rocket flying away.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING AWAY!" Team Rocket shouted in the distance.

"Grrr!" Poseidon roared.

"Aura is someone who doesn't appreciate Team Rocket dirty tricks to capture Pokémon." Yami said.

"I see." Ranger Jenny smiled.

The Kangaskhan were all safe once again.

Ranger Jenny was grateful, "Thanks to you Takuya," she said, "these Kangaskhan are all right."

The Kangaskhan, which liked to fight, "Kangaskhan!" She roared at Takuya.

Takuya flinched, Poseidon curled up around her, "Does she want me to battle her?" She asked in an uneasy tone.

Ranger Jenny nodded, "Thanks correct Takuya, she saw how strong your Gyarados was, so she wishes to fight it." She said.

Takuya was surprised, but agreed, "Poseidon round two?"

"Grr." Poseidon roared softly.

Poseidon and the wild Kangaskhan had a battle between them.

Kangaskhan's baby watched on Yami's back so she wouldn't get hurt from the battle.

While the fight was happening, Takuya saw how strong the Kangaskhan was she kept on throwing fighting type moves like dynamic punch, focus punch and focus blast. 'Oh, wow I bet she'd be a great teacher for my Primeape and Koyuki if she evolves.' She thought.

Poseidon put up a good fight as well with her dragon rage, dragon pulse, ice fang, iron tail and hydro pump attacks.

Then at last Kangaskhan collapsed from exhaustion.

The baby Kangaskhan jumped Yami's back to see if her mother was okay.

But Kangaskhan was alright just tired from the fight, she smiled at Poseidon and thanked it for a good fight, Poseidon growled back gently telling her the same.

After returning Poseidon, Takuya walked over to Kangaskhan, "I have to say you pack an awesome fighting punch." She said happily, giving her thumbs up.

"Kangaskhan!" Kangaskhan smiled at Takuya happy to have someone notice it.

Ranger Jenny walked over, "Takuya I have something to ask you," she said, "I would like you to take Kangaskhan with you."

"What? But I can't do that. I mean it's illegal to catch Pokémon here." Takuya said in shock.

Ranger Jenny nodded, "It's true that it is illegal, but this Kangaskhan should be with a trainer, not in the wild. The truth is ever since this Kangaskhan was a baby she liked to pick fights with other wild Pokémon. And as an adult her liking of fighting causes problems here. So Takuya please look after her and give her as many battles she would want." She said.

Takuya was surprised that she was going to have a Kangaskhan of her own, "You can count on me." She said.

The Kangaskhan placed her baby into her pouch and Takuya caught them together in a Pokéball.

"Alright Aura!" Yami jumped onto her shoulder.

"Professor Oak will definietly be shock if he check your capture list." Koyuki said.

"Speaking about Professor Oak he still hasn't called back about the stones Agnider and Denver found."

Ranger Jenny blinked, "Stone? What type?"

"This one Ranger Jenny." Takuya showed Ranger Jenny and Tomo the stone her Pokémon found.

"Oh I have one of them." Ranger Jenny said, "Back at the base."

"Really?"

"Yes, Kangaskhan or Evanee you call her now found it around a cave while she was practicing her punches."

'The Mega Stone are appearing in Kanto now? Argh, this is too troublesome to think.' Takuya thought.

"I'll give it to you when we arrive."

"Are you sure?" Koyuki asked.

"Yes, it does belong to Evanee who found it." Ranger Jenny smiled.

"Thank you." Takuya smiled.

When they arrive back, Ranger Jenny when to look for the stone and she handed to Takuya, it was in a stone, the colour of the DNA was white smoke and olive drab.

"It's similar to the other stone we found but different." Yami spoke.

"Yeah." Koyuki nodded.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Ranger Jenny picked up the phone, "Hello Ranger Jenny speaking." She spoke.

"... .... .... .... ...."

Takuya and Tomo blinked, "... ? ..."

"Really thats great news." Ranger Jenny smiled happily, "Yes, I'll tell him right away." She put the phone away, "Tomo great news your parents are both awake now."

Tomo gasped and started to have tears in his eyes, "T-t-they a-are a-a-awake." He cried, "Yes all th-these y-y-ears."

"Growlithe!" It barked happily.

"That's great Tomo." Takuya smiled happily.

"Way to think positive kid." Yami grinned.

Koyuki smiled.

After 20 minutes of helping Tomo pack to meet his parents it was time for Takuya to go, Tomo wanted her to meet his parents but she said that they'll meet again someday, he agreed and wished her the best of luck in her upcoming gyms.

Takuya nodded and bid farewell to Tomo and Ranger Jenny, heading towards the Safari Zone.
