After dealing with the Diglett, Takuya continued to find the Fuchsia Gym, but the problem was finding the gym was not easy at all for her.

"Okay this is ridiculous," Takuya huffed, "we've been searching for Fuchsia gym for a while but all we've found is trees and more trees."

"Why would they build a gym in the middle of nowhere?" Koyuki asked.

"Don't know maybe for hidden reason." Yami replied.

"Let's take a rest." Takuya said putting the map away. "There's a small waterfall near here." She started to walk towards the waterfall area.

Takuya had all her other Pokémon out; Seraphina, Kaisa, Poseidon, Pluvia, Rai, Ciro, Rin, Len, Flora, Serefina, Aedus, Mesi, Soilet, Saddam, Ryuu, Nari and Thana.

Koyuki, Rai, Aedus, Soilet and Ryuu are all napping in the nice shade.

Poseidon, Pluvia, Mesi and Saddam are playing or relaxing in the water.

Rin, Len and Flora are practicing their attacks.

Seraphina and Kaisa are both talking to Thana, while Nari and Yami where playing with each other.

"Mmm... Poison against poison works." Takuya said to herself, "But psychic and ground against poison works best."

"What's wrong with Takuya?" Thana asked, seeing how her trainer is in deep thought.

Seraphina opened her eyes seeing Takuya face expression, "She's thinking about what Pokémon to use against poison type."

"Why?"

"Aurora next gym type, the gym leader uses poison type after all." Kaisa spoke.

"I see." Thana nodded.

Yami hopped onto the eon Pokémon, "Hey, isn't psychic and ground type super effective against poison type?" He asked.

Nari head lifted up happily, "Loo!" He said happily and flew to Takuya.

"Huh, Nari?" Takuya looked up, "What's wrong?"

"Loo, Looo, Loo." Nari said.

"Let me guess you want to battle in this gym?"

Nari nodded, "Loo." He smiled.

"Maybe you should, Nari has been training and he know a lot of psychic moves." Kaisa said.

Takuya smiled and petted his head, "Okay then your in and I'll also use Rin and Len since they are close to evolving." She decide.

"Nyah, Nyahh!" Rin and Len said happily.

"Okay time to move." Takuya said.

All her Pokémon called out and nodded, Takuya returned all her Pokémon expect for Seraphina and Rai, she gently picked up Koyuki who was still asleep.

After that break Takuya continued to searched for the Fuchsia Gym once more, it seemed hopeless at first and then suddenly she saw an old mansion.

"Okay... I find it weird that there's a mansion in the middle of nowhere?" Takuya said looking at the huge place. "It's quite big as well."

"You know, this place is kind of spooky." Yami said. "Ghost trio will definitely like it here."

"True. / Lux." Takuya and Rai agreed.

"How about we take a look and see if anyone is around to help us." Seraphina suggested, "Kit does need to find the Fuchsia gym."

"Okay." Takuya nodded.

So they all deicide to enter the mansion unknown to them that they are being watched by a round body covered in purple fur. Its has a pincer-like mouth, red compound eyes and a pair of white antennas. It has a pair of clodhopper feet and stubby forepaws.

"Venonant, Venonant." It said quietly in the trees.

Takuya was walking down a corridor, when she stopped and lend on one of the wall but, "Wahh!" She fell through a wall on the left side, "Oww!" Her voice came from the other side.

"Kit! / Lux!" Both Seraphina and Rai called out.

"Mother!" Koyuki called out, "Mother you okay? What happened?"

Yami pressed his paw against the wall, "This wall is a fake." He said examining the door.

"Fake?" Koyuki asked.

"I remember seeing something like this through the maze game back on St.Anne, its a trap door or secret door. If you push the wall its opens." Yami hit the wall and it opened.

Koyuki peaked through it seeing Takuya on her back, "Mother!"

"Argh! Whats kind of place is this, that needs trap door, ow." Takuya groaned getting up.

"This place doesn't feel safe mother, I also feel another presence watching as well." Koyuki said, sensing another Pokémon nearby.

"Lux!" Rai called out and pointed to the strange bug Pokémon, "Luxio."

"Venonat, Venonat!" It said looking at them.

"Its a Venonat." Takuya said and looked up the Pokémon on her Pokédex.

🔹Venonat, the Insect Pokémon.
Its eyes act as radar, enabling it to be active in darkness. It is attracted by light at night.

"Venonat must be the other presence watching us." Yami said.

"Venonat!" It said and began to ran off into the house more.

"Hey wait!" Takuya called out and ran after it, but what she didn't know that the insect Pokémon was lending her to more trouble. "I lost it." She sighs.

As Takuya continued walking but through another another corridor, looking around as Yami was in front of her when...

"Uncle Yami stop!" Koyuki shouted suddenly stopping Takuya in her spot.

"Wha-" Yami was cut off.

Takuya saw what scared her as well, "Yami, look in front of you." She pointed to a spot on the ground.

Yami looked in front of him seeing, a spherical Pokémon that looks like a Poké Ball with a face, minus the button. The top half is red, while the bottom half is white and releasing electricity waves.

"Voltorb!"

"Those aren't safe." Seraphina growled.

Takuya looked up the Pokémon on her Pokédex:
🔹Voltorb, the Ball Pokémon.
It looks just like a Poké Ball. It is dangerous because it may electrocute or explode on touch.

"Explode." Takuya gasped, "Lets move faster and get out of here." She quickly walked away, just incase the Voltorb was going to explode.

"Okay seriously, this place is dangerous." Takuya said, "First the secret door and now broody trap Voltorbs."

"Lux." Rai said and looked seeing the Venonat again, "Luxio!"

"Venonat!" It said and ran away again.

"Luxio!" Rai ran after it this time but stopped when he crashed into a visible wall, "LUXIO!" He rubbed his face in pain.

"Rai!" Takuya ran up to him and rubbed his face, "You okay?"

"Lux." Rai nodded.

Seraphina sighs, then she turned around but felt another wall behind her, "Great it's another wall." She said.

"What?!" Yami and Koyuki exclaimed.

"If this is a trap for stealing my Pokémon then NO!" Takuya said as flames appeared behind her, "Rai it's payback."

"Luxio!" Rai agreed, he froze and began to glow, he was like a quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a fully-grown lion now. While his face, hind legs, torso and the back of his front legs are blue, much of his body is covered with shaggy, black fur. The fur is longer around the shoulders and the base of the tail, and forms a mane on his head. The mane is larger, he has yellow eyes with red sclera, a blunt muzzle, and rounded ears with yellow insides. There are three yellow, half rings on the back of each foreleg and his long thin tail is tipped with a yellow four-pointed star.

"Luxray!" Rai said in his new form.

"Rai evolved into Luxray!" Takuya cheered and looked up the new Pokémon.

🔹Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokémon.
The evolved form of Luxio. Using the power to see through walls, Luxray can track down hidden opponents and even locate lost children.
- Luxray are native in the Sinnoh region.

"That's great now Uncle Rai can help us with this crazy place." Koyuki said and jumped on the gleam eyes Pokémon back.

"Luxray." Rai nodded.

"Venonat!" A voice said from behind them.

"It's you again." Takuya said.

"Venonat!" It ran away... once again.

"Not again, let's go." Takuya said and they ran after it and went through another fake wall and then she suddenly saw sharp stars aiming at her, "Ahhh!"

"Mother! / Aurora!" Koyuki and Yami exclaimed.

"Kit, take cover!" Seraphina warned, as she covered Takuya with her tails, "Rai!"

"Luxray!" Rai tail glowed and hit the stars away before they could hit his trainer. "Ray!" He growled.

"AHAHAHAH!" A laughter was heard.

Takuya peeked out of Seraphina tails, "Whats that laughter?" She asked.

Then Takuya question was answered, a woman with long green hair in a high ponytail with blue eyes and she is in a bright pink ninja outfit appeared in front of them.

"I am Aya," the woman introduced herself, "a ninja of this mansion."

"Huh?" Takuya blinked getting out of Seraphina protective grip.

"Tell me did you enjoy my little star treatment?" Aya asked as she held out a ninja star.

"No I did not," Takuya replied, "and neither did my Pokémon." As cue her Pokémon growled at the female ninja, "So what's the big idea anyway?" She notice the Venonat behind Aya's legs, "Ah, that Venonat!"

"Venonat!" It said behind Aya.

"Ahah, Venonat took me that someone entered the mansion." Aya laughed, "I wish to battle you." She said.

"That's it, fine." Takuya said,

Takuya and Aya both got ready for a Pokémon battle, as Seraphina, Yami, Koyuki and Rai stood on the side.

"One Pokémon for each of us." Aya announced the rule, "I choose Venonat, choose yours."

"Venonat!" It said ready to battle.

"Okay, Rin show them your strength!" Takuya released her female Nidoran, who got her teeth ready to fight. "Rin use poison fang."

Rin's fangs turned purple and she charged at Venonat to bite it but Venonat dodged before Rin could do that.

"Venonat use stun spore." Aya said.

Takuya ordered Rin to dig, before Venonat's stun spore could hit her, "Use super fang." She said, Rin's teeth turned white and bit down on Venonat really hard.

"Use psybeam." Aya said and Venonat released a multi-coloured beam from its eyes.

Takuya ordered Nidoran to use thunderbolt to counter it, knowing psybeam would really hurt Rin, "Use poison sting." Rin fired purple darts, from her mouth, at Venonat.

After the poison sting hit Venonat, Venonat started to look sick and was going purple in the face.

Aya gasped and was worried for Venonat.

"Venonat has been poisoned by the poison sting." Seraphina said.

"Alright go Aunt Rin!" Koyuki cheered.

Suddenly Rin began to glow and then turned into a bigger version of herself, looking like a quadruped, light-blue Pokémon with darker blue patches. She has red eyes, large, spiny ears, and has two pointed teeth protruding from its upper jaw. She possesses large poison spikes, her paws have three claws each and she is able to stand on her hind legs. The hind legs are longer and thicker than its forelegs, she has a stubby tail.

"Nidorina!" Rin said in her new form.

Takuya looked up her new evolved Pokemon:
🔹Nidorina, the Poison Pin Pokémon.
The evolve form of Nidoran . When it senses danger, it raises all the barbs on its body. These barbs grow slower than Nidorino's.

Type: Poison

New Moves Learnt: *Iron Tail, *Poison Tail, Shadow Claw, Poison Jab and Venoshock.

Ability: Poison-Point and Rivalry

Hidden Ability: Hustle

"Return Venonat." Aya returned Venonat, knowing full well she had lost.

"Nice work." Takuya praised petting Rin.

Suddenly a Voltorb rolled towards them.

"Voltorb!"

"Ahhh, its that Voltorb!" Takuya face gasped.

Voltorb exploded causing a massive explosion of smoke covering the room.

"You've still got a lot to learn Aya." A man voice said from the explosion.

As the smoke cleared a man appeared in front of them, with spiky black hair and eyes, wearing a blue ninja uniform with a long red scarf wrapped around his neck.

"Honour brother I have failed." Aya said sadly.

"Who are you?" Takuya asked.

"I am Koga," The man said, "I am the Gym Leader of Fuchsia Gym, what you have stumbled upon."

"Oh so this is Fuchsia gym and here I was looking everywhere for it." Takuya chuckled.

"Does traps count and heading into an invisible wall as well." Yami spoke up.

"... Lux...ray..." Rai sulked remembering that he hit one of the invisible wall.

"Intersting your Pokémon knows telepathy." Koga said impressed.

"He's not the only one." Koyuki chirped in.

"Well, I'm Takuya Sky and I wish to challenge you."

Koga looked at Takuya and smirk, "I sense a real fighting spirit from you," he said, "if you defeat me you will earn the Soul Badge."

Takuya nodded, "Very well."

Takuya and Koga both got into their position.

"This will be a two-on-two Pokémon battle." Koga announced the rules.

Takuya nodded, "I understand and my first Pokémon will be... Len show them your strength." Her male Nidoran stuck its horn in the air, ready to fight.

"I shall start with Venonat." Koga said, he released his insect Pokémon.

"Venonat." It said.

Takuya was ready to fight with Venonat again, when suddenly Venonat started to glow.

It grew from a puff ball to an insectoid creature with a light purple body. It has bulbous, round eyes with large pupils and a small mandible. Its thorax is paler with several black, zigzagging stripes running across the horizontal length. It has six short legs and a three-point crest on its head. Its two pairs of wings are covered in dust-like, purple scales.

"Venomoth!" It said flapping it's wings.

"Oh Arceus, it had to evolve." Takuya said whiling taking out her Pokédex.

🔹Venomoth, the Poison Moth Pokémon.
The evolved form of Venonat. It flutters its wings to scatter dustlike scales. The scales leach toxins if they contact skin.

"This may turn out tricky," Takuya frowned, "but I'm not giving in."

"Venomoth use stun spore." Koga said. Venomoth flapped its wings releasing a brown spore towards the poison pin Pokémon.

"Len, use dig to dodge." Takuya said, Len dug underground to avoid the stun spore attack, "Now sludge bomb." Len fired globs of brown sludge from his mouth, at Venomoth.

The sludge bomb hit Venomoth, causing it to fall.

"Nyahh!" Len growled at Venomoth and started to glow.

"Interesting," Koga said smirking, "two evolutions in one battle."

Takuya was surprised that three of her Pokémon had evolved in one day.

Len turned into a bigger version of himself, into a light purple, quadruped Pokémon. He has several darker purple spots across his body. He has large, spiny ears with teal insides, narrow black eyes and a long snout with two pointed teeth protruding from the upper jaw. He has a ridge of toxic spines on its back and a long, pointed horn on his forehead and he has short legs that have three claws on each foot.

"Nidorino!" Len said in his new evolved form.

Takuya looked up her new evolved Pokémon:
🔹Nidorino, the Poison Pin Pokémon.
The evolved form of Nidoran . It has a violent disposition and stabs foes with its horn, which oozes poison upon impact.

Type: Poison

New Moves Learnt: *Iron Tail, *Poison Tail, *Head Smash, Shadow Claw and Venoshock.

Ability: Poison-Point and Rivalry

Hidden Ability: Hustle

"This battle is far from over." Takuya stated.

"Nidorino!" Len growled in agreement.

"Indeed." Koga smirked.

"Venomoth!" The poison moth nodded.

Takuya and Koga were just about to continue the battle, when they suddenly got interrupted.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" A loud laughter was heard.

Takuya twitched, "..."

"Team Rocket is here." Yami announced lazily.

"Prepare for trouble," Jessie started.

"Make it double," James continued.

"To protect the world from devastation,"

"To unite all people within our nation,"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"

"To extend our reach to the stars above,"

"Jessie,"

"James,"

"Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light." Jessie did her pose.

"Surrender now and prepare to fight." James did his pose next.

The scratch cat Pokémon appeared, "Meowth that's right!"

"You three again." Seraphina growled.

"Ray!" Rai growled as well.

"What are doing here now?" Takuya asked.

"Hahaha, were here to steal Pokémon from this gym of course." Jessie answered with a smirk.

Arbok and Weezing were already out of their Pokéballs waiting for their master's orders.

"Let's join forces to fight them." Koga suggested.

Takuya nodded, "Len!"

Koga had Venomoth out and Takuya had Len out to battle.

Aya sent out her Venonat, she had given it medicine earlier, so Venonat was fit to battle.

James smirked, "We had a feeling you'd do that," he said, "so we came prepared." He fired some long white sticky substance from his hand at the Pokémon trapping them at the floor.

"Ah." Koga, Takuya and Aya gasped how there Pokémon were now trapped.

"What was that?" Takuya asked seeing how Len was trapped.

"Don't know but I definitely don't want to get hit mother." Koyuki said.

"I know what to do." Koga said, he pulled a cord from the ceiling and Voltorb appeared from the ceiling panels.

"Voltorb!" "Voltorb!"

James knew what they were and trapped the Voltorb in some more sticky substance, "Hahaha! Where on a roll." He grinned pulling them in.

"Now we shall grab all your Pokémon." Jessie said, "Including those four and especially you twerp." She pointed to Takuya, Seraphina, Rai, Koyuki and Yami.

"No way!" Takuya said, "Siolat I need your help!" She released her duck Pokémon.

"Psyduck!" Siolat said ready to battle.

"A Psyduck?" Team Rocket said, they knew that Psyduck as unusual headaches.

"Don't worry." Seraphina spoke to Koga and Aya, "Takuya taught Siolat a move to get rid of Psyduck headache problem, they know what they are doing."

Takuya smirked, "Siolat disable." Siolat had Team Rocket and their Pokémon frozen stiff by the disable attack.

"H-hey what's going on?" Jessie asked totally frozen.

"I-I-I can't move!" James exclaimed.

"M-me either!" Meowth shouted.

"Psychic." Takuya said simply. Siolat use psychic to released the capture Voltorb, the Voltorb was free and they went rolling away from Team Rocket. "Rai thunder shock them." Takuya said.

"Luuxxrayyy!" Rai released an electric attack sending Team Rocket flying.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket shouted flying away into the sky.

"What about out Pokémon?" Aya asked seeing them still stuck.

Koyuki smiled, "Uncle Siolat knows how to get rid of them." She said.

"Psyduck!" Siolat nodded and use psychic again to remove the sticky substance, freeing everyone.

Koga and Aya offered trade Venonat or Venomoth for Takuya's for Psyduck.

"Sorry but I'm not trading Siolat. My Pokémon and I have a bond with each other." Takuya said.

"Psyduck." Siolat nodded and hugged his trainer for helping him becoming stronger.

"I understand, we still have a battle to finished don't we?" Koga asked.

"Yeah we do." Takuya replied.

Takuya and Koga got back to their battle but the field is outside.

"I shall go with Crobat." Koga said and he released a purple, bat-like Pokémon. It has a stubby pair of feet, and has developed a second pair of wings with greenish-blue undersides and two stubby 'fingers'. It's pointed ears are long and appear to lack insides, its mouth is small and appears to have its teeth constantly bare and it's eyes are yellow with red pupils.

"Crobat!" It said.

"Crobat?" Takuya looked up the Pokémon on her Pokédex, "First time seeing one of those."

🔹Crobat, the Bat Pokémon.
The evolved form of Golbat. With its two additional wings, Crobat is able to fly much faster than Golbat.

"Nari show them your strength." Takuya released her legendary eon Pokémon.

"Looo!" Nari said happily to battle.

Koga was shocked, "A Latios." He said making Aya gasped.

"It's Nari first battle." Yami grinned.

"Can't wait." Koyuki added. "Good luck little brother!"

"Luxray!" Rai encourage.

Seraphina smiled, she also couldn't wait to see how much Nari has improve.

"Yes, Nari is a legendary Pokémon but he is young still." Takuya pointed out, "Nari be careful."

"Loo!" Nari nodded.

"I see he's a youngster still, very well Crobat use wing attack." Koga ordered.

Crobat flew towards Nari to attack him with his wings, Nari flew up dodging the attack.

"Nari use dragon pulse." Takuya said. Nari launched a greenish blue orb towards the bat Pokémon, Koga told Crobat to dodge it then use supersonic.

Crobat released a loud super wave making cried out in pain as the sound was also effecting everyone else expect for Koga and Aya.

"Ahhh, my ears!" Yami exclaimed in pain.

"Hang in there!" Koyuki encourage while covering her ears.

"Rayy!" Rai covered his ears.

"Kit!" Seraphina shouted.

Takuya covered her ears, "Okay this is pain, Nari use flash!" She shouted out. Nari opens his eyes and released bright light from his body making Crobat cry out as the flash hit him. "Okay now use ice beam!" Nari fired an ice beam attack at the bat Pokémon.

"Crobat use dark pulse!" Koga commanded. Crobat fired a dark pulse hitting the ice beam as two attack exploded from the collision. "Cross poison!" Crobat flew towards Nari as its wings where glowing.

"Nari protect!" Takuya shouted, Nari brought up a shield recoiling the cross poison attack. "Zen headbutt!" Nari head released a wave of energy and he head butted Crobat directly making it cry out in pain as it began to fall. "Ice beam once more!" Nari fired an ice beam attack once again and it frozen Crobat.

Crobat was frozen in a block of ice as it hit the ground, the ice shattered showing a fainted bat Pokémon with swirling eyes.

"Alright!" Takuya cheered and ran up to the eon Pokémon, giving him a big hug. "Thank you Nari!"

"Looo! Loo!" Nari cheered happy to win his first battle.

Takuya's other Pokémon came up and congratulate him as well.

Koga sighs and returned Crobat back knowing he lost, making Takuya to winner of the battle and gym.

Koga walked over to Takuya, "Takuya, " he said, "not only did you beat me but you also saved my Voltorb from those thieves. Therefore I give you the Soul Badge." He unrolled a scroll showing the gym badge inside. "Its is yours."

The Soul Badge was pink in the shape of a heart.

Takuya was happy and thanked Koga, she took the Soul Badge.

With the Soul Badge, Takuya bid farewell to Koga and Aya and went on her way.
