As travelling Takuya came to a place called Gringey City, she and her Pokémons didn't like Gringey City because it was a really polluted place and thick grey smoke was rising in the air and the water was also badly polluted.

"I don't like this place," Koyuki said with a frown, "it's filthy and polluted and there's a real stentch in the air."

"I agree," Yami said, "and there seems to be nothing but factories and no people are about."

Takuya was reading the information on Gringey City, "Listen to this, it says that Gringey City was originally bustling with activity, but the city eventually over-expanded the factories and power plants, resulting in the town becoming virtually abandoned as well as the sea nearby becoming polluted." She read out.

"Woah, guess to factory took over the city." Yami said and groaned, "Can we find the Pokémon Centre fast because my gut is telling me that this isn't a safe place."

"Yeah." Takuya said and quickly walked to the Pokémon Centre location right away.

It was quite late when Takuya reached the Pokémon Centre, so Nurse Joy was not happy with her being out so late.

Takuya quickly booked a room and went to bed.

"You know for once I'm glad to be inside, rather than outside." Yami said laying down on the bed.

"So am I," Koyuki agreed, "the sights and smells of this place made me feeling sick."

"I say we should leave immediately as soon as daylight hits." Takuya said.

"I agree." Koyuki and Yami nodded.

Just then all the lights in the Pokémon Centre went off.

"What's happened? A black out all the sudden?" Takuya frowned.

Takuya went to see what's happened when they saw Nurse Joy looking worried and upset because were some Pokémon in incubators and without the power the Pokémon were in trouble.

"If the power doesn't come on soon," Nurse Joy said worriedly for the Pokémon, "the Pokémon might die."

"Don't worry Nurse Joy, I'll go and found out the problem." Takuya offered.

"Thank you."

Takuya left the Pokémon Centre, to found out what happen to the lights, she went to Officer Jenny Office immediately.

"Officer Jenny, we have a problem." Takuya said, "The Pokémon Centre got a black out and if the power don't come back soon the Pokémon there will die."

"Thats the problem, I've been trying to contact the Power Plant since the black out, but no one is answering." Officer Jenny told her.

Takuya thought for a second, "Officer Jenny where is the Power Plant located?" She asked.

Officer Jenny pointed to a the factory area, "It's over here, you really can't miss it. Its the biggest one."

"Thank you." Takuya said and ran off to the Power Plant location.

It didn't take Takuya long to find the Power Plant; the Power Plant was the biggest building in Gringy City.

The Power Plant had big chimneys with lots of thick smoke coming out.

"Something tells me this is where most of the pollution is from." Takuya said looking at the factory.

Koyuki noticed a stream by it, "Okay, that is gross." She said looking at the water, "The water is worst here."

"We should hurry." Takuya said and she walked into the building.

But what she didn't see was that some sort of purpe sludge was living in the stream, but Koyuki felt something with her Aura.

The inside of the Power Plant was very dark, it was really hard to see but luckily Takuya had a torch with her.

"Okay, what are we doing to do?" Yami asked looking around the place.

"Simple, we find the main power room. There might be people in there working on to get the power back on." Takuya answered.

"Mother we have company." Koyuki pointed out. "One look like a key too?"

Takuya looked and spotted what Koyuki was pointing at, one Pokémon she recognise as a Magnemite, but the other one she wasn't sure.

The Pokémon is a small, grayish-white Pokémon resembling a key ring with four keys on it. It has a spherical head with a white face and a small, pink oval on its forehead. Two black circles and a keyhole form its eyes and mouth. Below its head is its pink, teardrop-shaped body with a white marking in the middle. Extending from the top of its head is an appendage, which resembles an old-fashioned key with two wide, blunt teeth. A thin loop surrounds it and connects at either side of the "key"?

"Klefki." It said floating around.

"Magnemite." It said floating.

"Okay." Takuya said, "What Pokémon are you?" She took out her Pokédex and scanned the unknown key-like Pokémon.

🔹Klefki, the Key Ring Pokémon.
Klefki loves to collect keys and will confront opponents with a fierce jingle of their collection.
- Klefki are native in the Kalos Region.

"What is it doing here then?" Koyuki asked looking at the key ring Pokémon, "It's quite far away from its region."

"Thats what I like to know and what's a Magnemite doing here as well?" Yami asked.

"Don't know." Takuya shrugged her shoulders, "Hey Magnemite, Klefki do you know what happen?"

Magnemite and Klefki both stared at Takuya, then suddenly froze and flew off in a hurry.

"Hey what happened?" Koyuki asked confused.

Just then Yami smelt something disgusting near them, "Hey do you smell that?" He asked holding his nose.

Takuya and Koyuki smelt it too and held their noses in disgust.

In front of them was a slimy, amorphous blob-like Pokémon, made of living purple sludge. It has two large eyes with beady little pupils, and a gaping mouth with a grey tongue. While it lacks any visible legs, it does have two arms with three digits on each hand. It is constantly oozing; endlessly leaking a germ-infected fluid from all parts of its body.

"Grimer!" It said, as more of them appeared.

"These things must be why Magnemite and Klefki left in a hurry." Yami said holding his noses.

"There Grimer." Takuya said and checked her Pokédex.

🔹Grimer, the Sludge Pokémon.
It was born when sludge in a dirty stream was exposed to the moon's X-rays. It appears among filth.

Takuya was disgusted by the smell of the Grimer, but didn't say anything about it, she knew that would make the Grimer mad.

"They smell terrible!" Yami shouted losing his cool.

"YAMI! / UNCLE YAMI!" Takuya and Koyuki scolded.

The Grimer's got mad, then suddenly a large, sticky, amorphous Pokémon, made of living purple sludge, appeared in between the Grimer, looking very angry. It has two small eyes with beady black pupils. It also has an enormous mouth with a grey tongue and strands of ooze connecting its top and bottom jaws. While it has no visible legs, it does have two arms with three fingers on each hand. However, it typically keeps one hand tucked in while it extends the other hand.

"Muk, Muk!" It said.

"That doesn't look good." Takuya said, pointing her Pokédex towards the bigger sludge Pokémon that appeared.

"The smell got worst mother." Koyuki said.

🔹Muk, the Sludge Pokémon.
The evolved form of Grimer. A toxic fluid seeps from its body. The fluid instantly kills plants and trees on contact.

"MUK!" Muk ordered to Grimer to charge at Takuya, who she immediately ran.

"Nice going Uncle Yami!" Koyuki shouted as she hanged on to Takuya who ran.

"Now you've done it!" Takuya added, while running.

"Sorry but I couldn't take anymore!" Yami shouted back, holding onto Takuya's shoulder.

Takuya ran into two men around the corner, that was wearing blue jumpsuit, indicating that they both work here at the Power Plant factory.

"Hey what are you doing here?" One of the men asked.

"Getting away from the Grimer! Run!" Takuya replied shouting.

The two men saw the Grimer as well and led Takuya into the main power room.

Takuya quickly shut the door and locked it, so the sludge Pokémon won't come in, "Why is there a black out?" She asked the workers, "It's causing trouble at the Pokémon Centre. The Pokémon there will die without the power."

"It's because of the Grimer." One of the men explained, "They've plugged up the water intake and our power generator won't spin without the water."

Suddenly some bangs on the door were heard.

"That door won't hold long." Yami said.

"Your a Pokémon trainer right?" Takuya nodded, "Use your Pokémon to fight them." One of the work said.

"If you do that, the Grimer may run away and the generator may work again." The worker explained.

Then the Grimers and Muk broke the door down, entering.

"Grimer!" "Muk!" They said.

"I'm in." Takuya nodded, she sent out Nova and Kara and ordered them both to use psychic, as psychic types beat poison.

Then an air vent from above them opened and out popped the Magnemite and Klefki from earlier.

"Are you here to help us?"Takuya asked Magnemite and Klefki.

"Magnemite!" "Klefki!" They both nodded.

Then more Magnemite and what looked like three Magnemite being linked together, like one Magnemite on top, and two Magnemite linked via body on the bottom, forming a triangle.

"Magneton!" It said.

"Look its Magnemite's evolved form Magneton." Takuya looked up Magneton.

🔹Magneton, the Magnet Pokémon.
The evolved form of Magnemite. Its heavy gravitational power allows it to float, and it can emit powerful magnetic and electric fields.

The Magnemites and Magnetons fired powerful thundershocks at the Grimer.

Both the Grimer in the main power room and the ones blocking the water intake got hit.

Then they all left in a hurry, the water went through the generator and the power came back on.

The two men were delighted and set to work on the machines at once.

Takuya were delighted too.

Then Koyuki realised that one Pokémon was still here, "Mother we still have one more." She said.

Takuya had Butterfree and Espeon to hit it with psybeam, then Magnemite and Yami hit it with thundershock.

"Muk..." Muk was still moving.

"Klefki!!" Klefki floated in front of Takuya and started to form an electro ball.

"Koyuki aura sphere!" Takuya said.

Koyuki and Klefki both launched a blue sphere and electric ball, hitting Muk directly and the sludge Pokémon got blasted into the sky to who knows where.

"Alright!" Takuya cheered, along with the two workers.

After they defeated all the Grimers and one Muk, the wild Magnemites and Magnetons when back to their original place somewhere in the Power Plant.

"Magnemite." Magnemite floated around Takuya.

"Klefix, Kle, Klefix."Klefix spoke.

Yami grinned, "They want to come with us Aura." He translated.

Takuya blinked and smiled, "Sure." She held out two Pokéballs.

Magnemite tapped one and Klefki tapped the other, they both shook a bit than they were both caught.

Takuya looked up both Pokémon information while walking out of the Power Plant, since everything was okay now.

Known Moves: Tackle, Supersonic, Thundershock, Sonic Boom, Thunder wave, Magnet Bomb, Spark and Mirror Shot.

Ability: Magnet-Pull and Sturdy

🔹Klefki, the Key Ring Pokémon.

Type: Steel and Fairy

Gender: Male

Known Moves: Tackle, Fairy Lock, Fairy Wind, Astonish, Metal Sound, Spikes and *Electro Ball.

Egg Move: Lock On which as yet to be unlocked.

Ability: Prankster

Hidden Ability: Magician

Extra Information: - Klefki is native in the Kalso Region only.

- If Klefki finds a key it likes, it will never release it.

- To threaten attackers, this Pokémon jingles its key collection.

- Klefki is the only Pokémon capable of learning Fairy Lock and Crafty Shield.

Takuya whistle at Klefki moves and information, "Pretty amazing. Fairy Lock and Crafty Shield huh?" She said.

"I can't wait to see what those move can do." Yami said excitedly.

"Me too." Koyuki smiled.

"Hm." Takuya hummed.

Magnemite is named 'Ja.'

Klefki is named 'Kole.'

The next morning Takuya spoke to Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy about the city, before she left, "The Grimers and Muk were in the stream because the water is filthy like this city is." She spoke, "But if you clean up the air and water around here, the city will be as good as new just like before, once again."

"Of course," Nurse Joy smiled, "we promise."

"We should get going Aura." Yami said.

"Yeah we should." Takuya nodded, "Bye Nurse Joy, Office Jenny." She bowed a walked away.

"Bye and take care." Nurse Joy waved.

"We promise to rebuild the city." Officer Jenny said waving.

Meanwhile at Professor Oak's lab, he just received Takuya's new Pokémon.

"Professor Oak, did Aura catch new Pokémon?" Tsuki asked walking in.

Professor Oak turned around seeing the prime Pokémon, "Yes she did, Aurora caught two new Pokémon." He said, "Wonder what she caught this time?" He released the two Pokémon from their Pokéballs to have a look.

Kanto Professor has a habit of doing that with Takuya's Pokémon only, since he knows that Takuya has luck of capturing, rare, unusual colour, shiny or another region Pokémon.

"Magnemite." "Klefki." They both said released from their Pokéball.

"Oh my goodness." Professor Oak said eyeing the two steel type.

"What Pokémon is that?" Tsuki said pointing to the key ring like Pokémon.

"That my friend is a Klefki a Kalos region Pokémon, its a steel and fairy type."

"Wow." Tsuki breath, "So does it collect keys or something since I can see him holding two of Takuya's necklace keys on him." She pointed. "I remember that she bought them before we left HopHopHop Town."

It was true, Klefki has two keys already on him, one is a silver that has carvings of flower pattern on it and the other one is a gold key with waves pattern carved on it.

"Ah yes, I heard that Klefki like to collect keys, but if they found a key they like they'll never released it." Professor Oak explained.

"So he won't let go of them now?"

"Not necessary, Klefki is Aurora's Pokémon so if Aurora ask for them back he'll give them back to her."

"I see."

To say the least Professor Oak is happy to research on another Kalos region Pokémon, Tsuki went to tell the rest of Takuya's Pokémon about Magnemite and Klefki.
