After Takuya has obtained some new Pokémon, she was happy that her mother loved her new Pokémon that she got.

Professor Oak, also thanked her for catching some shiny Pokémon it was a great discovery to study them and took of before Takuya could say anything else.

Charmander is named 'Agnider'.

Shiny Vulpix is named 'Serefina'.

Shiny Seal is named 'Mesi'.

Raichu is called 'Raidyn'.

Growlithe is called 'Aedus'.

Shiny Lapras is named 'Ephyra'.

And finally Fearow is named 'Avis'.

Takuya also got information on them, how each Pokémon got more than one egg move like some of her other Pokémon, but thats not all she was happy to have two of the Kanto starter's Pokémon; Bulbasaur and Charmander, she only need to one more which is a water type.

"Mom really excited to have some Pokémon of her own to keep wasn't she?" Yami said amused, remembering how Aerith eyes sparkled when she heard about getting some Pokémon.

"Oh, you bet ya buddy. I was always thinking of some Pokémon to catch for her to keep her company." Takuya smiled, "Lucky for us."

"Rio, Rio." Koyuki said.

Just then Takuya felt the earth beneath her sink and suddenly she fell into a hole.

"Argh... My head is the only part of me that doesn't hurt like always." Takuya whined and groaned while looking at her Pokémon to check for any injuries.

"Ow! I think I landed on my head!" Yami complained rubbing his head.

"Rio, Rio, Rio, Rio?!" (Who dug this hole?!) Koyuki said angrily.

Five light blue round heads appeared over the hole laughing like crazy or amazing about their own work.

"Hey that wasn't funny," Takuya said, "we could have been hurt."

"Squsquirsquirtle!!" The heads just laughed again.

Takuya climbed out of the hole, to see who the tricksters were.

The tricksters turned out to be five Pokémon resembling a small Pokémon that resembles a light blue turtle. While it typically walks on its two short legs, It has large brown eyes and a slightly hooked upper lip. Each of its hands and feet have three pointed digits. The end of its long tail curls inward. Its body is encased by a tough shell that forms and hardens. This shell is brown on the top, pale yellow on the bottom, and has a thick white ridge between the two halves.

Takuya noticed them all wearing black sunglasses, but differently. One Squirtle was wearing pointy sunglasses, while the other four wore round glasses, Takuya assumed that the pointy sunglasses is the leader of the group.

Takuya looked up Squirtle on her Pokédex:
🔹Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon.
It shelters itself in its shell, then strikes back with spouts of water at every opportunity.

'Wow first Bulbasaur, then Charmander and now Squirtle,' Takuya thought happily seeing a another Kanto Region Starter Pokémon, 'how lucky am I'. She sent out Koyuki to battle them while Yami shoulder incase the Squirtle try anything funny.

The pointy sunglasses Squirtle, which Takuya was right, it was the leader of the Squirtles, stepped forward, "Squirtle." It said, ready for a fight.

"Rio!" Koyuki took her battle stance.

Just then a siren was heard coming their way.

"Squirtle!" The Squirtles all heard it and scattered very quickly.

Officer Jenny appeared on a motor cycle, "Are you okay? Have you been hurt?" She asked.

"No we're fine thank you Officer Jenny." Takuya replied as she pick up Koyuki in her arms.

Officer Jenny brought Takuya to the police station, "Those Squirtles are a gang called the Squirtle Squad." She explained, "They are all Squirtles, who were deserted by their own Pokémon trainers. So now they pull pranks and steal from everyone. It's really sad, the truth is if they had caring trainers they wouldn't be like this." She finished with a sad expression.

Takuya looked down after hearing that story, "Well, I'm up for catching one of the Squirtles for myself. Do you think mum might like one too, Yami, Koyuki?" She asked them.

Koyuki nodded, "Rio."

"I think that Yuki is right, might will love to have another Pokémon with her, especially a water type." Yami smiled.

"Now question is what about the other three?" Takuya asked them.

"Um, excuse me miss." A male voice said from behind her.

It was an teenager, with dark brown hair and eyes, he looked about four years older than Takuya.

"My name is Michael and I heard you were planning to catch the Squirtle Squad."

"Do you wish to catch them too?" Takuya asked.

"Yes," Michael nodded, "the truth is I know some of the Squirtle Squad." He explained that he actually saw three Pokémon trainers desert the squirtle. "They kept on saying that Squirtle are no good, compared to their evolved forms."

"But that's not true." Takuya frowned, "Squirtle can be just as strong as Wartortle and Blastoise. Depending how you train them that's all." She said.

"But those trainers didn't think so. So they tossed them away like trash."

"That's horrible, no wonder the Squirtle play pranks on humans." Yami said.

"I wanted to catch them after the trainers left," Michael said, "but after what their trainers did, they didn't trust me and ran off. I still wish to capture those three Squirtle and raise them well, so do you mind if I come with you?"

"Of course not, I don't mind at all." Takuya said with a smile, she thought it was nice of him to help out the Squirtle Squad. So they set off to the forest to find the Squirtles.

They found the Squirtles having a swim in a pond.

Michael was about to step forward, when a net was suddenly thrown over the Squirtles and when the net caught the Squirtles, it zapped them.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!" Three voices laugh.

"Oh no it's Team Rocket again." Takuya whispered.

"Who's that?" Michael asked, who was in shock of what just happened.

"Nasty crooks, who steal Pokémon." Takuya explained, "But they never succeed in stealing Pokémon when I'm around you see." She finished with a bright smile.

Yami anime fell and rolled his eyes.

"Hey!" Meowth said angrily then went back to the Squirtles. "Pretty nice work."

"These nets did the job well." Jessie said.

"The best thing is these nets are electrical," James said, "and electric beats water. Since we caught the Squirtle squad with this net we should use this to capture water Pokémon more often."

"No you won't!" Michael shouted and ran out from behind the trees, "If you think I'm letting you get away with this! Just Forget it!"

Jessie smirked, "Haa! You and what army?" She asked.

"It's not an army but this person here Team Rocket." Takuya said coming out behind the tree.

Team Rocket was shocked to Takuya again.

"Let the Squirrels go!" Takuya shouted.

"Not happening twerpette!" Jessie said, "Go Ekans."

"Ekannsss..." It hissed out.

"Let's go Koffing." James said.

"Koffing!" It said.

"Leave this to me," Michael said, "go Psyduck, Sandshrew lets save those Squirtles!"

A yellow Pokémon that resembles a duck or bipedal platypus. Three tufts of black hair grow on top of its head, and it has a wide, flat, cream-colored beak and vacant eyes. Its legs, arms, and tail are stubby and its webbed feet are cream-coloured and there are three claws on both of its hands.

"Psyduck!"

"Sandshrew!"

Takuya looked up the duck Pokémon:
🔹Psyduck, the Duck Pokemon.
The pre-evolved form of Golduck. When a Psyduck's headache gets severe, it starts to exhibit odd powers.

"Ekans use poison sting." Jessie commanded.

"Use sludge attack Koffing." James said.

"Psyduck use water gun and Sandshrew use swift." Michael said, countering the poisons attack.

While the fighting was happening Squirtles was watching what was happening.

Three of the Squirtles, which wore rounded glasses were looking at Michael and they remembered him; seeing him trying to rescue them brought tears to their eyes, 'This human is so nice.' They thought.

Michael commanded Psyduck to use psychic and toss Team Rocket and their Pokémon away, which it did by sending them flying into the sky.

"TEAM ROCKET IT BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket shouted.

Michael then had Sandshrew use swift to cut the net.

The Squirtle squad were free again.

The three Squirtles that kept an eye on Michael walked up to him

Michael saw them and bent down to them, "I take it that you remember me huh?" He asked.

"Squirtle!" The three Squirtles nodded.

"Listen Squirtles I know that your trainers did was wrong, but I will never betray you or leave you. Come with me and let's become strong together and forever."

The Squirtles hesitated for a moment, they took of their glasses, revealing teary eyes and jumped into Michael's arms happily.

"I've caught you at last!" Michael laughs.

Takuya and her Pokémon smiles, she turned to the leader of the Squirtle Squad, "Do you want to come with me and become strong?" She asked.

After seeing its mates with the other human, Squirtle decided it was time to disband the Squirtle Squad and be with humans again.

"Squirtle." Squirtle accepted the offer.

Takuya asked if the five Squirtle would like to stay with her mother and help out at home, the Squirtle accepted it.

So all was okay in the end, Michael and Takuya captured the Squirtle Squad.

Squirtle is named 'Arnav' or 'Nav'.

And the Squirtle Squad finally had owners, who would care for them forever.

After bidding farewell to Michael and Officer Jenny, Takuya left the town to continue to Vermillion City.
