Right now Takuya was riding Brisa, heading down the road to search for Vermillion City.

"Okay were according to the information I'm reading, Vermillion Gym uses electric type." Takuya said, "It's a three on three match again."

"Three on three huh?" Yami said, "There's been a lot of three on three matches."

"True but every gym is different." Takuya said. "Including the rules."

Brisa was happy to be out, then she heard something from the side of the road.

"Neigh."

"Huh?" Takuya blinked, "What's up buddy?"

"Brisa hears something from over there." Yami pointed to the side of the road into the forest area.

"Really?"

Brisa nodded.

"Then lets find out." Takuya said and gently pulled the reins to the side.

Brisa turned her head and started to gallop in the direction she heard a rustle.

"What's that?" Yami asked.

In the middle of the forest was an Pokémon egg, that is white with a thick black strip in the centre around.

"A Pokémon egg?" Takuya said as she jumped off Brisa and ran over to the egg, she carefully picked it up, "It looks healthy still. Who would just leave Pokémon Egg in the middle forest anyway?" She frowned and gently rubbed the egg.

"Don't know." Yami shook his head, "Are you going to look after it?"

"Of course, I can't just leave the egg here." Takuya said, "Who knows what will happen to it if I left it alone."

"Alright."

Takuya smiled and rubbed the egg, she hopped back on Brisa and they exited out of the forest back onto the road.

"I wonder what Pokémon is going to hatch?" Takuya asked in wonder.

Brisa neighed wondering as well.

"Who knows but it will be amazing to see it hatch." Yami said happily.

"Yeah and Seraphina will get another kit to look after." Takuya chuckled, remembering how Seraphina was babying Yami and Tsuki when they were young.

"True, mother also love it." Yami chuckled.

As Takuya continued riding down the road or path.

A trainer who was Takuya's age, with short spike brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a white long sleeve with blue stripes across, black pants and a black and white shoes, finally having a silver side bag across his chest [image], was watching her from the sides, then he jumped in front of Brisa who responded in shock.

"Woah, easy Brisa." Takuya said pulling the reins to calm down her fire horse Pokémon and when she did, she looked at the person in front of her, "You know that was dangerous right?" She asked.

"Yeah, sorry about that." The boy laughed sheepishly apologising. "Are you up for a battle?"

Takuya blinked, "Sure, it will give a warmed up for my next gym." She said hopping off Brisa.

"Are you entering the Kanto league?"

"Yes I am, I'm Takuya a trainer from Pallet Town here in the Kanto region. Are you also entering the league?"

"Cool and yes I am. I'm Connor Knight a trainer from Nacrene City in the Unova region." The boy introduced.

"Unova huh?" Takuya smiled, "First time battling someone from there. So how many Pokémon?" She asked.

"Is a four-on-four battle alright with you?" Connor asked.

"Sure." Takuya said and took out a Pokéball, "Ready when you are."

"Alright, go Krokorok!" Connor released a reptilian Pokémon with a mostly tan body, pink stomach, black back, and long tail. It is classified as a quadruped, though it is more often seen on two legs. It has six thick, black stripes on its body: one at shoulder level, one around its midsection, one around its hips, and three on its tail. Each stripe is topped with a triangular spike on its back. The stripes around its midsection cross two spikes, one on each side of its back. Its arms are short and thin, with a black band around them at the elbow. Each hand contains three short fingers, each with a white claw. Its legs are thick with a band around each ankle and a stripe above the knee that does not wrap around. Its flat feet each have three white claws, it's head is ovoid with a long snout and small eyes surrounded by a thick black membrane. Two of its front and rear teeth are visible overlapping its lower jaw. A black stripe sits on the bridge of the snout just behind its large nostrils.

"Krokorok!" It roared.

"Looks like a ground type." Takuya said and looked up the Pokémon.

🔹Krokorok, the Desert Croc Pokémon.
The evolved form of Sandile. The special membrane that covers Krokorok's eyes detects heat, which allows it to see in the dark.
- Krokorok are native in the Unova region.

"Well then, Sarila show the your strength!" Takuya released her penguin Pokémon.

"Prinplup." Sarila said ready to battle.

Connor blinked, "A Prinplup? Isn't that Sinnoh region water starter as a Piplup?" He asked, "How did you get one, I thought you said you were from Kanto?"

Takuya chuckled, "I caught Sarila as a Piplup in the Sinnoh region when I visited there before my Pokémon journey began." She answered, "Sarlia hydro pump!" Sarlia blasted water towards the desert croc Pokémon.

"Krokorok use dig to dodge!" Connor counted and Krokorok dug into the ground to avoid the hydro pump, "Now use metal claw!" Krokorok came out underneath Sarlia and strike her with a metal claw attack.

"Sarila!" Takuya shouted, "Rila you okay?"

"Prinplup." Sarila nodded.

"Okay, strike back with drill peck!" Sarila peck gathered power and the beck grew bigger, she jumped and spun aiming at Krokorok, hitting it directly.

"Krokorokkk!" It cried out in pain.

"Don't let Krokorok recover, use whirlpool!" Takuya shouted before Connor could react.

Sarila summoned a giant whirlpool above her and she threw it at the desert croc Pokémon hitting it directly as it was now struck.

"Krokorok!" Connor shouted as his Pokémon was struck in the whirlpool, it was super effective attack as well.

The whirlpool started to vanish, then it was completely gone and Krokorok fell from the sky landing on the ground with swirling eyes.

"Krok... Krokorok..." It said weakly fainting.

Connor sighs, "Krokorok return and take a rest." He recalled his desert croc Pokémon back to its Pokéball.

Takuya smiled, "Great job Rila, take a good rest." She said and returned her tired penguin Pokémon back.

"Ducklett go!" Connor released a light blue, duckling-like Pokémon, it has two feathery tufts on its head that connect at the bottom, forming a V-shape. It has a dark blue feathery underside, it has a yellow webbed feet and a small tail.

"Ducklett!" It said landing on the ground.

"A water and flying type?" Takuya said and looked up the Pokémon.

🔹Ducklett, the Water Bird Pokémon.
Ducklett is a skilled driver that swims underwater in search of its favourite food: peat moss.
- Ducklett are native in the Unova region.

"So I was right about its type. Very well, Nova show them your strength!" Takuya said and released her purple butterfly Pokémon.

"Freee!" Nova said flapping her wings in the sky.

"Ducklett let's start off with bubble beam!" Connor said.

Ducklett launched dark bubbles from its mouth at Nova who countered with gust sending the bubble beam back.

"Use ice beam!" Connor shouted and his water bird Pokémon fired a ray of ice beam at Nova.

"Counter that with psybeam!" Takuya shouted and Nova fired a rainbow beam at the ice beam.

Both attack colloid creating a blast for a short time.

"Ducklett use water pulse!" Ducklett launched a blue water orb at the butterfly Pokémon hitting her directly as her wings were wet she was weak and started to fell slowly.

"Free... Freee..." Nova said as she was slowly descending. "Freee..."

"Nova!" Takuya cried out in worry seeing her butterfly Pokémon all wet, "Try a sunny day!"

Nova nodded and launched a sunny day, so the sky was bright.

"Ducklett quick air cutter!" Connor shouted and Ducklett flapped its wings releasing air cutter towards the butterfly Pokémon hitting her directly.

"Nova!" Takuya shouted in worry seeing the air cutter attack hitting her Pokémon.

"Freeee!!" Nova cried out in pain and fell to the ground with swirling eyes. "Free... Free... Fre-ee..."

"Woah, that guy was able to counter quick." Yami commented on top of Brisa only she could heard.

Brisa nodded agreeing, (Yes, but Takuya is going to make a comeback.)

Yami nodded, "She always does, even if the Pokémon is from another region." He said. "Wonder what Pokémon is Connor going to use next?"

(If my correct it could be another Unova Pokémon.) Brisa replied.

"Nova return." Takuya recalled her fallen butterfly Pokémon, "Thanks and take a long rest." She said.

"Nice Ducklett." Connor grinned and high five his water bird Pokémon who returned it, "Thanks." He returned it and took out another Pokéball ready.

"Your good." Takuya commented, she also has a Pokéball ready.

"Thanks you too, I battled many trainers so far not many people are able to deal with my Unvoa region Pokémon so well as you." Connor stated with a cheerful grinned, "Your the first."

"I study a lot on Pokémon from different regions." Takuya smiled.

"I see, the studying is helping out a lot, Deino go!" Connor released a small quadrupedal Pokémon with black fur covering its head and neck, concealing everything but it's mouth from view. The fur around its neck also has six purple spots encircling it which resembles bruises and the hair on the top of its head take the shape of a single small horn.

"Deino!" It roared.

"That's..." Takuya looked up the dinosaur-like Pokémon on her Pokédex.

Deino never stops biting anything it can, it is dangerous to approach with taking precautions.
- Deino are native in the Unova region.

"Huh, bites anything it can?" Takuya blinked.

Connor laughed sheepishly, "Yeah, when I first met Deino it tackled me pretty hard." He then nodded, "Yeah then it bit me on the head. Ah~ the memories."

"Deino!" It's said happily.

Takuya and her Pokémons sweat dropped, "I see... Kaisa show them your strength!" She released her fairy type Eeveelution Pokémon.

"Sylveon~" Kaisa said calmly and sweet.

"Aunt Kai is battling." Yami said excitedly.

(I haven't seen Kaisa battle in a while this is going to be interesting.) Brisa said.

"What do you mean Aunt Risa?" Yami asked.

Brisa chuckled, (Just watch you'll see Yami.)

"Okay."

"What's that Pokémon?" Connor asked eyeing the white and pink Pokémon, "I've never seen that Pokémon before."

"It's a Sylveon." Takuya answered, "Another Eevee evolution form, this one a fairy type that can only be found in the Kalos region."

Connor blinked and it ding him, "Fairy type? Oh, I heard about them, there the new discovered type." He said, "Well, I don't knowing about them so we can't let our guard down one bit Deino." He warned and his Irate Pokémon nodded, "Dragon breath go!" Deino launched a dragon breath attack from its mouth at the fairy type Pokémon.

"Kaisa." Takuya said calmly.

"Syl~"

The dragon breath hit Kaisa directly creating a dust from the dragon type attack but when the dust clear Kaisa was still standing like nothing has happen.

"Sylveon~" Kaisa smiled unharmed from the attack.

Connor eyes widen in shock, "WHAT?! What in name Arceus happened?! How did she survive the attack unharmed?" He asked totally confused.

"The reason why it wasn't affected by dragon breath was because fairy type Pokémon are immune to dragon-type attacks." Takuya grinned, "Pretty cool huh?"

Yami nodded, "I see."

Connor nodded dumbly, still shocked from the information he was given about the fairy type.

"Now it's my turn. Kai use hyper beam." Takuya said.

While Kaisa was preparing the hyper beam, it was in a pink colour instead of its usual orange.

The attack fired and hit Deino directly before Connor could react to the unusual pink hyper beam.

Deino suddenly dropped on the ground with swirling eyes, "Dei... Deino.... Dei-no..." It said weakly.

"Deino return." Connor recalled back his fallen Irate Pokémon, "Okay, please Takuya explain how is the hyper beam pink?" He asked totally lost now.

"Sylveon~" Kaisa walked back to Takuya as she smiled getting pet.

Takuya smiled, "As for your question, Kaisa has a hidden ability called Pixilate. It allows any normal type moves to become fairy type moves. So the hyper beam that hit Deino was actually a fairy type move." She explained.

"Woah!" Connor said impressed, "Fairy type are mysterious." He said. "Well, this is the last round. How about we call out our Pokémon at the same time?"

Takuya nodded and returned her fairy type Eeveelution back, "I'm in." She held out a Pokéball.

"3... 2... 1..." Connor and Takuya said simultaneously. "Pignite go! / Tsuki show them your strength!" They both released their Pokémon.

Takuya was her prim Pokémon, "Meow!" Tsuki cried out happily.

It's sis!" Yami exclaimed happily seeing his older sister.

Brisa smiled.

Connor was a bipedal pig-like Pokémon, it's a chubby body was orange with brown bands around its shoulder, sides, belly, hands and from its back of its head down its snout. Yellow bands encircle its wrists and swirled yellow design bulge from its chest, it's has a red pig-like nose, pointed ears and two pointed teeth that protrude from its lower jaws. It's hand have two claws each, while its feet have only a single nail, it's tail is curled with a tuft of fur at the tip.

"Pignite!" It cried out as its snout released flames from it.

Takuya looked up the Pokémon on her Pokédex:
🔹Pignite, the Fire Pig Pokémon.
Pignite's food converts into fuel for the flame that burns in its stomach and when fuel burns in its stomach its speed increase.
- Pignite are native in the Unova region.

"Just to let you know Pignite is my starter Pokémon, from a Tepig." Connor stated.

"A Tepig huh?" Takuya mumbled.

"Eow!" Tsuki said ready to battle.

"Huh, right Tsuki use thunderbolt go!" Takuya said.

Tsuki launched a thunderbolt attack at Pignite, who use protect to protect itself, then Pignite use flamethrower at the prime cat Pokémon who dodge it.

"Pignite use ember!" Connor shouted, Pignite fired small flame balls from his snout.

"Tsuki use blizzard then follow it up with dig." Takuya shouted.

Tsuki fired blizzard from her mouth to counter the ember attack then she dug into the ground.

"Pignite use fire punch on the ground!" Connor shouted and Pignite snout blew steam out of its snout [It that correct? Got the idea from the anime.] and then charge up its fist then smash it to the ground.

Takuya perched up on the Unova region trainer plan, "Tsuki out and use agility to dodge that!" She shouted before the bust of flames erupted from the ground.

Tsuki jumped out ground and used the speed of agility to dodge the flames eruption, "Eow!" She cried out for payback.

"Woah! That was cool!" Yami exclaimed seeing that type of fire attack.

(Indeed, normally fire punch you'll expect it a direct attack but Pignite trainer was able to improvise the fire punch into a long range attack.) Brisa explained.

"They dodge that attack." Connor blinked in surprise, not many trainer Pokémon can dodge that combo from fire punch. "That's a first." He grinned.

"Pignite!" It blew flame from its snout also amazed by the prime cat agility to dodge that. "Pig, Pignite!"

"Pignite flame charge!" Pignite stomped on the ground a couple of times before charging in with flame covering its body.

"Bet on luck, Tsuki use assist!" Takuya shouted.

Tsuki jumped and her left paw glowed a orb on it, from the orb it launched a silvery wind; silver wind.

The silver wind attack hit Pignite making it slow down and the flame charge was nullified.

"Silver wind? Your kidding how much luck!" Connor groaned, "Pignite once more, flame charge!" Pignite charge again once more covered in flames.

"Tsuki ice beam on the ground!" Tsuki fired ice beam on the ground making the ground turn to ice.

"Pig-nite!" Pignite cried out as it slipped, crashing into the ice ground. "Pignite!"

"Wha- No way." Connor muttered, "Takuya can counter that as well. Come on Pignite hang in there!" He encouraged, seeing his Pignite panting heavily and having trouble standing on the ice.

"Tsuki, end this with thunder." Takuya said. Tsuki nodded and launched a thunder attack at Pignite directly hitting it.

"Pignitttteeeee!!" It cried out in pain as the thunder attack hit, it fell to the ground with swirling eyes, "Pig-nite.... Pig----nite..."

Connor sighs and them smiles, "Pignite return and take a excellent rest." He recalled back his fainted Pokémon, "You did great."

"Tsuki returned and take a good rest." Takuya said and recalled her prim cat Pokémon, "Brisa." She called over her fire horse Pokémon.

Brisa walked over and nuzzled her trainer, happy that Takuya won.

"Thanks for the great battle Takuya." Connor said held out an hand, "Your a great trainer."

Takuya shook his head, "Thanks and you too, I was surprised to see a fire punch like that." She smiled.

"Thanks." Connor grinned, "Well I'll see you around or maybe in the Kanto league and I'll get a rematch maybe.

"Yeah, good luck on your gym battles."

"You too. Bye." Connor waved off and ran to the next gym.

"Bye!" Takuya waved.

"That was one amazing battle." Yami commented speaking up.

"Yeah it was." Takuya smiled and hopped onto Brisa back grabbing the reins, she pulled it to make her fire horse Pokémon walk along the road or path once again, "I can't wait for a rematch."

Brisa nodded and neigh loudly in response.

Continuing down the road or path, Takuya ended up battling five trainers along the way.

Tarrin was enjoying the chance to battle.

Right now Takuya was battling another trainer with a Ratatta, as Brisa was standing on the side to watch.

"Tarrin use slash." Takuya said. Tarrin's slash attack knocked out the Ratatta in a second flat.

"Wow, your really good." The Ratatta's trainer complimented, "You know you should battle A.J."

"A.J? Who's A.J?" Takuya asked.

The trainer explained that A.J was a savage trainer and owned his won gym just down this path.

Takuya thanked him, she thought that it was worth investigating, so she went and found A.J's gym shortly .

"Wao, nice gym." Takuya commented, holding Brisa reins as she was looking at the gym designed.

"It amazes me that it's not even an official." Yami stated.

Brisa neighed, she agreed with Yami.

"Who goes there?" A voice said from behind her.

It was a boy who was about a year older than Takuya, he had dark green hair, black eyes and he had a Sandshrew behind him.

"Um, are you A.J?" Takuya asked.

"Yeah that's me." A.J replied. "Are you here to challenge me?"

"Yes I am. Oh and my name is Takuya."

A.J grinned, "Great this will become my 100th win." He said pointing to his gym sign.

It had the number 99 on it, it showed that he had beaten trainers 99 times.

Takuya whistled impressed by the numbers, "Woa."

A.J brought Takuya to the battlefield.

Brisa was on the side watching with Yami on her back observing.

"This will be a one on one match." A.J said, "Go Sandshrew!" His Sandshrew went onto the battlefield.

"Well then, Pari, show them your strength." Takuya released her fairy Pokémon.

"Clefable." Pari said kindly.

"Sandshrew use dig." A.J commanded.

"This might be tough, Pari stay on guard we don't know where Sandshrew might appear." Takuya said.

Pari nodded and she looked around the field, she felt something beneath her. So she jumped to dodge the attack.

"Pari quick use magical leaf." Pari had glowing leaves around her and she lanuched it at Sandshrew, who dodge the leaves in time.

"Quick Sandshrew use roll out!" Sandshrew roll its body and started to roll directly towards the fairy Pokémon.

"Pari use ice beam." Takuya said. Pari fired a ice beam attack hitting Sandshrew, making it frozen in place.

"No!" A.J shouted.

"Use mega punch to end this." Pari fist glowed and she punch the ice that Sandshrew was frozen in, she shattered the ice, releasing the ground mouse Pokémon but it couldn't deal with the ice attack so it fainted from he punch.

Takuya has won the battle.

When the battle was over A.J. picked up Sandshrew and asked if it was all right.

"Sandshrew." It nodded.

"I must say Takuya that was amazing. Your a tough Trainer by the look of your Pokémon." A.J said.

"Thank you. I'm just sorry that this didn't become your 100th win." Takuya apologise.

"Ah, don't worry about that," A.J waved it off, "besides I can just battle another trainer to earn it."

Takuya asked A.J if she could see his other Pokémon.

A.J. agreed and led the Takuya to a big tent.

Inside the tent there were some Pokémon and what looked to be some sort of training gear.

A.J ordered Sandshrew to drive into the pool.

Sanshrew climbed up a ladder and dived into the pool.

"This is where I train my Pokémon." A.J explained and he saw Sandshrew get out of the pool, he whacked a whip onto the floor. "Get back into the water."

Takuya saw three Ratatta jumping through three hoops of fire and a Butterfree and Beedrill carrying some heavy gear.

"Woa, A.J," Takuya whistled in amazement, "you train you're Pokémon well."

"Thank you Takuya." A.J said, "Although I thought you were going to say that my training is harsh. Most trainers do actually."

"Actually I understand this sort of training." Takuya said, "Since this does bring out the strength of Pokémon. Not all trainers have the same training style, everyone is different. But I must admit I find the whip a little bit too much."

A.J was happy with Takuya and butted fists with her to show that he had found a friend in Takuya.

Just then an alarm clock went off in A.J's tent and A.J told all his Pokémon to take a break.

While Sandshrew was having a breather, a bag from out of nowhere grabbed Sandshrew.

It was Meowth; Team Rocket had watched Sandshrew's battling and wanted it to give to their boss.

Meanwhile A.J and Takuya were discussing about battle strategies when A.J notice that Sandshrew was gone, "Where's Sandshrew?" He asked.

"Maybe it went outside for a breather." Takuya suggested.

They were about to go have a check, when they heard screams from outside.

They ran out immediately and saw Sandshrew escaping from Team Rocket.

Sandshrew had used scratch to get out the bag and had tackle Team Rocket to get away from them.

"Hey what's the big idea!?" A.J shouted.

"Argh! It's Team Rocket again." Takuya said annoyed, "They steal other people's Pokémon."

Brisa neighed annoyingly with Yami who groaned seeing them again.

"Oh yeah? Well they aren't taking my Pokémon. Come on Sandshrew let's battle these guys." A.J said.

"If it's a fight you want," Jessie said, "we'll give you one."

Jessie and James sent out Ekans and Koffing and Meowth joined in too.

Jessie told Ekans to bite it and James told Koffing to sludge it and Meowth planned to use fury swipes, but with Sandshrew rolled up into a ball it dodged Ekans and Koffing easily and became like a toy to Meowth.

Yami laughed how Meowth was meant to be battling Sandshrew not playing around like a cat toy.

"Meowth this is not the time to play!" Jessie shouted.

Meowth snapped out of it and tried to bite down on Sandshrew, but Sandshrew hard body broke Meowth's teeth.

"Woa, go A.J! Go Sandshrew!" Takuya cheered.

"Use fissure!" A.J shouted.

Sandshrew made the ground shake and hit Ekans, Koffing and Meowth really hard.

Meowth was terrified, "I forfeit the match!" He shouted as he and Ekans and Koffing ran away together.

"Come back here!" Jessie and James shouted together running after him.

"Meowth we aren't done yet!" Jessie shouted.

A.J had won the match and the 99 the on sign changed to 100, which meant A.J had finally beaten 100 trainers.

A.J. thanked Takuya for her help.

"What will you do now?" Takuya asked.

"Well now I am going to collect Gym Badges." A.J answered, "I hope to battle you again one day Takuya." He and Takuya shook hands at each other.

"I cannot wait for it and see had strong you and your Pokémon got together." Takuya replied happily, making A.J blush.

Yami saw the blush and snickered quietly, Brisa shook her head.

Somewhere in Sinnoh two people frowned as they sense something wrong.

'Oh no! Nobody is crushing on my little sister!' They both thought dangerously, 'It's means war!'

Flint had flames surround his body in anger.

Infernape sweat dropped along with Raichu.

"In-fernape..." "Rai-chu..."

Takuya well... was confused what she did cluelessly not understanding.

After along day, Takuya and her Pokémon bid farewell to A.J and went on her way.
