~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

Everyone but Meliodas was in deep shock seeing Lady Merlin bowing, giving her thanks to the Crowned Prince of the Demon Clan. I only heard short things about how she and Meliodas were co-workers and possibly even friends once...I did always wonder what really happened between the two of them. "M-Merlin?!?" Escanor nearly shouted looking in pure fear that something was wrong with her. Merlin ended up standing up straight taking a deep breath. It was easy to see from her face it wasn't easy for her to do such a thing in front of everyone.

"Even when you were part of the clan you never bowed to anyone not even our bastard of a father" Meliodas spoke, sounding mostly on guard and it sounded like he was questioning Lady Merlin's motive. I felt Meliodas' grip around me only tighten. I had noticed that Zeldris and even Estarossa were still inside the room but the two were dead silent. In a way, I was used to that from Zeldris who kept quiet until he was spoken too but Estarossa seemed to enjoy speaking what was on his mind.

"Then again I know that look and action better than anyone. You know I'm not stupid. I already know what you are keeping from me. Hiding such important information when asking for us to help with this issue would normally get you killed Merlin" Meliodas then spoke. Escanor, Diane and Ban all stood up fast, looking at Merlin in pure shock. Gowther on the other hand only closed his eyes, understanding what Meliodas was talking about. I sat there confused but happily finishing up what food I had left.

My body or mind didn't really care about what was happening around me currently. It just wanted food. "Have you figured out who in the Fairy Clan betrayed their king and handed him over to the Humans? Who also easily framed the Giant Clan for such actions? Thanks to Gloxinia it was easy to figure out someone within the Fairy Clan is behind the real kidnapping and has betrayed their whole clan after all" Meliodas spoke sounding like he was getting bored with the conversation at hand. 

Merlin's face slowly went pale while Diane shouted "WHAT?" in rage glaring at the mage she was with. It was highly easy to tell Merlin didn't tell the three people standing anything about this. About a traitor being within the Fairy Clan. Diane and Ban looked in utter rage from not being told a thing, from being kept in the dark about something huge. "I have no proof that is what happened and I cannot figure out who did it. Being why I haven't told people about this" Merlin then spoke trying to answer Meliodas while explaining to the three people standing.

"AND WHY THE FUCK DOES GOWTHER KNOW BUT NOT US? UNLIKE HIM WE CARE ABOUT KING!?!? I PROMISED ELAINE I WOULD BRING HIM HOME AND TAKE CARE OF WHOEVER HAS DONE THIS TO HIM!" Ban then shouted in pure rage. I place a hand on my stomach fast my body not reacting well to the sudden yelling or rage for some reason. Meliodas picked up on it fast, letting out a powerful blast getting everyone to freeze and look at the two of us. It got everyone to be quiet at least. Zeldris and Estarossa asking what was 'wrong'. 

Both sounded in pure and utter fear. I was very confused at first. Wondering why my body acted the way it did. Then I remembered what Meliodas figured out some days ago. That my child, somehow was able to let me sense things better and a lot stronger than a normal human would. "If you are to shout and pick fights with each other. I would recommend not doing it in front of my mate unless you want to deal with my wrath...understood?" Meliodas spoke harshly getting everyone but myself to be in some shock.

Lady Merlin was the one to react perfectly. She looked directly at me, looking worried and concerned for me. "Even if we save the Fairy King unless the traitor is found and dealt with he would just end up being killed or taken yet again. Or worse turned to the side of Liones" Meliodas spoke in a much more calm and serious manner. He was sounding more like a leader and ruler than his normal harsh and strict tone. Diane's face had a strong emotion of fear, growing over her face. "Merlin are you certain there is one?" Ban then asked.

It was easy to hear he was struggling to keep calm when speaking to her. Escanor didn't move his eyes off Lady Merlin. Watching her carefully. "Sadly yes. First Prince thinking the same way only makes me even more positive that I'm right" Lady Merlin replied getting Ban to sit down, thinking carefully. Diane was the first to ask "what do we do?", her voice sounding like she was close to giving up hope. Meliodas only sighed getting Lady Merlin to look directly at him. "It's easy to snuff out traitors" Meliodas replied. 

"That way might work in the Demon Clan but it's harsh to the Fairy Clan, doing your ways there would cause only more issues" Lady Merlin spoke up before anyone could react to Meliodas' statement. Meliodas only raised an eyebrow looking at her. "How will you find this traitor? We can't save the Fairy King until we do and his time is extremely limited as it is" Meliodas responded sounding bored yet again. The group of five people in front of us were unable to answer. There were stuck with any hope or way to really reply or think of a plan.

"Zeldris summon Gloxinia and Drole back to the Demon Clan" Meliodas then ordered getting his youngest brother to leave the room quickly. Estarossa only raised an eyebrow looking at his older brother. Lady Merlin had done the same. "Get the maids to ready a room for these idiots. Gloxinia will be back tomorrow. We shall think of a real plan of action once he returns. He can snuff out your traitor with ease" Meliodas spoke yet again sounding like a true leader and ruler. Lady Merlin was the only one confused. 

Diane and Ban were both thankful, even saying "sorry" to Meliodas for their actions. Gowther and Escanor had kept quiet while in deep thought. "Father won't like them staying in the castle" Estarossa was the person to point out the small issue with this order. Meliodas looked at his middle brother a small smirk on his face. Lady Merlin ended up begging for Meliodas not to do something "stupid". "Dear brother would you kindly remind father I couldn't care less about what he thinks" Meliodas spoke. 

Lady Merlin only sighed while shaking her head while Estarossa only gave out a laugh. He left with a large smirk on his face. Meliodas so-called reminder was definitely a code for him to do something else. "I'm taking Elizabeth to go rest. We shall talk about a plan of action tomorrow morning in this room" Meliodas spoke, his voice sounding strict enough to give warning he wouldn't change that plan. Though I was confused this time around, I didn't really need any rest for once. 

I was slightly getting fed up with sleeping so much and staying in bed just a much. Some maids and a couple of guards came into the room while Meliodas got me and him to stand. Diane and I gave each other a smile and wave before Meliodas had taken me out of the room. "Now I can finally show you a surprise I have ready" Meliodas spoke getting me to look at him fast. Surprise? He looked at me with a smile, a small chuckle coming out of his mouth. It must've been easy to see the confusion on my face. 

"So the rest thing was just to get away from them?" I asked unable to stop a smile growing on my face. Meliodas only let out a chuckle one more, pulling my body to be closer to his own. My smile couldn't help but only grow. "Correct. Nothing wrong with a man wanting time alone with his lover" Meliodas replied before kissing my forehead. My face couldn't help but basically go on fire. First time in a small while I've ended up blushing so badly. I didn't expect something like that coming out of his mouth after all. 

We ended up walking along the same hallway our bedroom was in. I started to get confused but my curiosity was growing. We ended up going in front of the door opposite our room. Meliodas chuckled slightly after seeing my facial expression, before opening the door. He lead me inside to show an empty room. "Since the pregnancy is speeding up. I believe its time we start making our child's room" Meliodas then explained. My eyes widened in shock, excitement and joy hearing his words. 

The smile on his face only grew seeing my reaction.
