~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

After getting changed, Meliodas and I headed out of the bedroom. Going to the dining room. Meliodas had his arm around me, keeping me close to him. I had noticed from time to time that Meliodas' demonic mark would glow every so often. There was still so much unknown about demons. "How do you feel if Merlin suddenly shows up?" Meliodas soon asked once we could see the dining room door. We were nearly there. I turned my head, looking at Meliodas very confused. Lady Merlin. I had almost forgotten.

She had arrived very early this morning wanting to see Meliodas. "I got along with Lady Merlin so I don't mind it much" I answered still not 100% sure why Meliodas had asked the question. It sounded and even the look on his face seemed that he knew what was about to happen. Was she about to suddenly show up while we ate? Waiting for us in the dining room? My mind couldn't help but wonder. Meliodas nodded before pulling me to be even closer to him once we reached the dining room doors. 

"What would you like to eat today?" Meliodas then asked, looking at me with a smile while the dining room doors opened on their own. I started thinking my body wasn't craving strawberries like before. I couldn't help but be thankful for that. I'm not sure what would've happened to my body if I lived on strawberries the whole pregnancy. "Omlete would be nice" I ended up saying while still in thought. Meliodas only gave me another smile before the two of us sat down. Meliodas ordered the food from an extremely fearful waiter. 

Meliodas would start bringing up conversations about our baby while we waited for food. Some reason everything inside of me just got excited and overfilled with joy that he did so. We talked about baby room themes, toys and even future training and lessons for our child. I knew my eyes and face must've shown my emotions. My whole body while talking just felt so many positive emotions at once. I must've had a good range of emotions to show on my face, possibly even in my eyes. Even I had noticed each time I got more excited or felt more joy Meliodas' smile would grow ever so slightly. 

Once our food was brought to the table Meliodas' demonic mark started to glow. He let out an annoyed 'tisk' before moving my chair closer to his. I got confused and was about to question it until the doors burst open. "First Prince" Lady Merlin's voice echoed around the room along with her footsteps. She was wearing the same thing I last saw her in. By her side were Miss Diane and Escanor. I noticed Gowther and Ban behind them. Miss Diane's eyes lit up seeing me, getting her to call out my name in joy and relief. I smiled and gave her a small wave.

"I'm in shock you got past Chandler" Meliodas spoke watching the group carefully. Lady Merlin had her normal cocky smile on her face while the boys around her were very unsure and on guard. Ban even had a look of worry on his face. "It wasn't easy to get past him. I'll admit" Lady Merlin replied moving to sit opposite us at the table. The others with her, following. Meliodas gave out a long 'mmm', keeping his eyes on each of them. I felt one of his arms moving around me.

It got me to look at him for a second before I got a little too hungry to really not dig into the food in front of me. "What is it you want that you dared to come here, Merlin? You alone would've been alright but to bring these lot...you are asking for a death wish" Meliodas then asked getting Escanor and Ban to both glared at him with rage. Gowther only agreed with Meliodas' statement about bringing the 'group' was a bad idea. Miss Diane looked at Gowther in shock as a response. I kept quite knowing I wasn't in any place to really say anything.

Though I was in shock to see Lady Merlin have a sweat droplet go down her face. "I'm ashamed to admit this First Prince...I need some assistance" Lady Merlin then answered getting Meliodas to raise an eyebrow while looking at her. Miss Diane had guilt start to build up in her eyes, hearing Lady Merlin's words out loud. The three boys in the group even looked unsettled and in ways upset from the statement. "The Fairy King is the reason you lot are here isn't it?" Meliodas then asked getting me to look at him in shock.

King...I started to remember what Gloxinia said. When Gloxinia came to Meliodas in fear and worry about his younger sister. That he informed Meliodas that King had gone missing. That the Giant Clan were behind it. "Correct" Lady Merlin answered not losing composer on her body language and her facial expression. Meliodas gave out an annoyed and bothered sigh. Ban only had his rage and hate return to his face. Gowther being the one to remind him where he was sitting. Meliodas mentioned before when we first met...He knew Ban. 

I asked about Lady Merlin but forgot to ask him about his history with Ban. "Crowned Prince Meliodas. I know I'm not in any right to ask you of this...from taking Elizabeth away from you and putting her in danger by taking her back to the Human Clan before but...but I personally need your help. King's in danger, the Human Clan took him and are punishing him about before...it was my fault he was dragged into this punishment that I should be having..." Miss Diane then spoke up. 

Tears building up in her eyes while she spoke. Her face going pale at the thought of the 'punishment' King was having. The guilt and self-hate in her eyes only growing. I couldn't help but stop eating, looking at her worried. King was being punished...for helping me get away from the Human Clan. From letting me hide in his territory before. "I see so that's what is happening out there" Meliodas spoke closing his eyes. I felt the grip he had around me start to get tighter. I looked at him, in the hope that he would help them. 

"We know this is asking a lot but each of us cares for King and sadly none of us can fight the Human Clan on our own anymore. They have some type of power growing within them an-" Lady Merlin started to speak but stopped once Meliodas lifted his hand up. He was signalling her to be quiet. Escanor's hate and rage started to show once again. Meliodas gave out another sigh but it was much different from the ones he gave out before. He opened his eye and kissed my forehead. "You're lucky he was taken for the fact he was protecting my mate" Meliodas then spoke.

Mine, Miss Diane's and Lady Merlin's eyes all lit up hearing his words. Gowther, Ban and Escanor were in utter shock. Meliodas looked at me, his smile starting to return getting one to grow on my own face. I had a feeling he knew I was wondering about them...about Miss Diane and King. I just couldn't help but think so. "You're also lucky enough that I and Elizabeth both like him. Interesting person along with that sister of his. These reasons are enough for me to meddle with the Human Clan enough for you to perform a rescue operation" Meliodas then spoke.

Gowther, Ban and Escanor were in pure disbelief. They looked as if they were going to fall out of their chairs from shock. Miss Diane had tears going down her face, thanking Meliodas over and over again. "What do you want in return for this. I know that you may face annoying issues to the point you even may be risking a lot" Lady Merlin then asked her cocky smile leaving her face. A serious look finally replacing it. Meliodas closed his eyes in thought yet again. He moved his head back slightly giving out a 'hmm'.

"Once I'm crowned Demon King in some weeks I plan to open communications to both Giant and Fairy Clans. I would like them to be open and reply of course. I don't care if the reply is rude or decoration of war" Meliodas then answered shocking every single person sitting opposite us. I heard loud voices going 'eh' or 'what' in pure shock coming from the doorway. All of us ended up turning our heads to see a small crowd at the dining room entrance. Watching and listening to us.
