~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

Meliodas and I stayed in bed. Meliodas could easily tell that I was still extremely tired and he didn't want me to push myself. We were talking throughout most of the afternoon before Meliodas ordered food to be delivered to our room. Just like yesterday in his office, no one dared to question it. No one even dared tried coming in the room or disrupt the two of us. "I wonder where Hawk is..." I mumbled to myself noticing yet again he wasn't in the room. Meliodas hugging me, kissing my neck. 

"I can find that out for you" Meliodas offered before kissing my neck again. I felt my smile only grow. Everyone was more scared than before which was easy to tell and something that I wanted to question but...questioning it could cause stress or worrying and that...that would lead to a miscarriage. Being a book worm, I knew that miscarriages are what most pregnancies lead to. The smallest amount of stress, worry, fear, rage...anything could easily set that off. It's why Meliodas refuses to tell me everything right now.

He doesn't want to risk it. I trusted his judgement. I trusted that he knows what would cause more stress than good when it comes to things like that. "Hawk asked a question that's been in my head for a while now" I spoke getting Meliodas to stop kissing my neck and look at me. An eyebrow raised. Getting Meliodas' attention and interest in things was quite easy when I put it in that way. His face at moments like these can be quite cute. I felt my own face heat up slightly. "If we were planning to have more than one child together" I then informed him. 

I couldn't help but place a hand on my stomach as we talked. Meliodas gave out an 'oh' getting me to nod. "I explained how we haven't really talked about that" I gave out a small laugh. Meliodas only smiled at me, kissing my forehead. I wasn't sure why the question stayed in the back of my mind but it did. It was just something I couldn't help but think about. "Do you want more than one child, my precious Elizabeth?" Meliodas then asked. I could hear by his voice he was completely interested to hear my honest answer. 

"I never thought I would even have one child but I can't help but like and think about the idea of us having...two kids" I answered honestly, my face warming up out of nowhere. I couldn't really understand why. I knew my emotions would get more intense the later we get into the pregnancy. My own answer only made my smile grow ever so slightly more. It was strange in a way. It felt just strange to feel all this all of a sudden. Meliodas' smile only grew moving his head to snuggle into mine. 

"I like the idea of that" he whispered getting me to look at him fully. My face must have had 'really?' written all over it. Meliodas only chuckled at me, keeping me extremely close to him in the hug. "I'm more than certain we can handle two kids. Plus we both do very much enjoy the 'creating' part" Meliodas then spoke his smile turning into a slight smirk. My face only went a deeper and darker shade of red. He wasn't...wrong. Meliodas only gave out another chuckle before pulling me into a deep kiss. 

One of his hands moving onto my cheek as I kissed back. The longer the kiss became the more we were both getting into it. Even when the two of us pulled away for air we only gave it a couple of seconds before the two of us would go into another kiss.  Sadly before it could turn into something else, our dinner had arrived. With dinner also came a note addressed to Meliodas. The note itself being the main reason why Meliodas didn't just carry on with where we left off. I began to eat while Meliodas was opening the note and reading. 

I was eating a steak meal really enjoying the food. Something just felt as if the food tonight was better than before. "I need to go have a word with my brothers" Meliodas soon informed me, getting me to turn my head and look at him. His eyes were on the note, he seemed to be rereading it over and over again. "I'll be back in five or ten minutes. Try resting after you finish eating" Meliodas then spoke finally moving his eyes, looking right at me. I could easily see that it was important but the look in his eyes.

I smiled and nodded. Meliodas had a smile grow on his face slightly before walking over to me, kissing my forehead. "I'll be back soon. I promise" he whispered to me, his smile only growing. He still felt guilty back what happened before. Some reason, it was just easy to tell. Once he had left, it didn't take me much time to finish what I was eating, placing the plate on the tray the waiters had left in the room. I then turned my head, looking at the mirror. I could see the baby bump much better and clearer there. 

I moved my hand over the bump. "I can't wait to meet you" I whispered my eyes moving onto my stomach. I couldn't help but feel excited and looking forward to meeting my child even more than before.
